Chapter 81: Chapter 81
"That's it, you piece of sh*t! I will rip your throat out!" Alpha Clause shouted as he pushed himself off the ground to throw a jab at Alpha Ross' face.
His punch landed on Alpha Ross' jaw and knocked him back in the opposite direction, causing him to stagger, but he caught himself before he can fall.
"You're not going anywhere, you piece of crap!" Alpha Ross growled as he threw a punch towards Alpha Clause.
He dodged it easily and jumped back, watching Alpha Ross as he went back to his feet.
"I'm stronger than you will ever be! I'll kill you first!" He shouted as he charged again at Alpha Clause.
"That's enough!" Carter ran over to them, holding Alpha Ross' hand. "Let's go!"
"You don't want to do this, Carter," Alpha Ross said as he tried to break away from Carter's grip.
"I'm doing what needs to be done. Don't fight me, okay?" Carter told him as he pulled him away from Alpha Clause.
"This is wrong! This has gone too far! It's time we end this once and for all!" Alpha Clause exclaimed as he started shifting into his Lycan form. He seemed angry as his jaw cleched, his bros furrowed and his fist clenched. His dark eyes were also turning amber, showing that his wolf was pushing to the surface and he was letting him.
"No way! You're not doing that here!" Carter shouted at him.
"I have no choice! We need to do what is right or else we could lose our Pack altogether!" Alpha Clause snapped back at him.
"Clause is right, there's no point in imprisoning him again since he might just escape again. Besides, the Five have already come to the conclusion of executing him." I added as I gestured with my hands and a serious look in my eyes.
"Fine, let's do it." Carter sighed in defeat as Alpha Ross' eyes widened in shock. "We will execute Alpha Ross now."
"Good, now, him over!" Alpha Clause ordered in his Alpha voice as he looked at him, sternly.
Alpha Ross was terrified; he knew what was about to happen to him. I could feel his fear and I felt uncomfortable with execution since I have never killed before in my life, but what Alpha Clause planned to do would be the only thing that could save us from being condemned. I knew he had done terrible things, and that made me a bit more comfortable with us executing him. He deserved it.
"No, I won't let you kill me!" Alpha Ross shouted before he pulled his arm free from Carter's grip and started running away.
"Stop him!" I called out to Carter who just stood there, stunned.
"What do you want me to do?" Carter yelled back.
"Just stop him!" I yelled back at him as I ran past him to try and run after Alpha Ross myself.
"You're not getting away again!" Alpha Clause yelled as he also ran after him.
"Go ahead, Alpha Ross! Try to run! We'll catch you no matter what!" I taunted him as I ran faster towards him.
"I didn't ask for this! I was forced into this! I'm not even the rogue leader!" He screamed back as he continued to run as fast as he could.
"Liar!" Alpha Clause yelled just as Alpha Ross shifted into his wolf form and disappeared into the forest.
"Alpha Clause, where did he go?!" I asked as I stopped running and turned around to face him.
"He changed into his wolf form and he disappeared into the woods, probably in an attempt to find a cave to hide in. If he finds a good hiding spot, then he will wait until nightfall and then head back to the city."
"Why don't you just call the pack warrior wolves to pursue him?" Carter asked as he looked at Alpha Clause.
"Because I don't know where Alpha Ross went. Maybe he hid somewhere between here and the city. The last thing I wanted was to call the warrior wolves right now because if they do track him down, it'll take time to bring them back and that's exactly what he wants. I can't risk calling them right now."
"Thank you, Alpha Clause." Carter said to him as he walked back to the pack house.
"Come on, let's get back inside first. We can discuss how we're going to find and execute him tomorrow." I told him as I started walking.
***
"You two should rest tonight. I'll take care of everything." Carter told us as he sat on the sofa in the living room.
"It's late, and you shouldn't be up. Go back to bed, Carter." I told him as I walked over to him and placed my hand on his shoulder.
"I can't sleep, so you two better sleep while you still can. The other warriors and I will keep an eye on the pack house, especially those patrolling outside around the territory."
"Alright." Alpha Clause agreed as I nodded, "Fine, suit yourself."
We made our way upstairs to our bedroom and closed the door behind us. I leaned against the door and looked at my Alpha mate, Alpha Clause who was stepping towards me with a smile tugging on his lips.
"Is there something bothering you?" Alpha Clause asked me as he sat on the edge of the bed.
"Yes, but I'm not ready to talk about it yet." I replied as I sat next to him.
"Okay, I understand. For now, just lie down and sleep." Alpha Clause told me as he laid on the bed beside me.
"Goodnight, Clause, honey." I whispered to him as I rubbed my cheek against his then brushed my lips against his cheeks.
"Night, my Fay." He murmured as I slowly got under the covers.
"Goodnight, Clause." I mumbled as I pressed my body to his and drifted off into a deep slumber.

The next morning, I woke up to find Alpha Clause standing in front of me, looking rather nervous.
"Baby, I have something very important to tell you. You may not like what it is though, but please hear me out." He told me as I opened my eyes and sat up in bed.
