Chapter 68: Chapter 68

"You're welcome." I replied with a small smile.

Alpha Wyatt looked over at Rachel as she brought in some drinks on a tray and placed it on the table, "Thanks for your effort."

She shook her head, "It's nothing, just please eat it."

She then went to leave the room, but Alpha Clause stopped her, "Hey Rachel, can you send an email message to the other packs to let them know what happened?"

"Yes, of course, Clause." She replied with a grin as she bowed slightly and turned to walk out of the study again.

"So, what did you plan?" Alpha Clause asked Alpha Wyatt as he looked curious with a concerned frown on his brows.

"I thought that we could send one Alpha and some of their wolves to attack Alpha Ross at my pack house. Once they've weakened enough, we'll come in and finish him off." He explained his plan as he looked between the two of us.

"It sounds like a good plan to me, although luring him to the other side of the city to attack him there was a plan that I wanted us to try."

Alpha Wyatt raised both of his brows then smiled as he suggested, "Why don't we try that then?"

Alpha Clause shook his head as he answered him, "No, let's go with your plan. It seems better."

"Okay, good."

"Which Alpha will be going in first to defeat Alpha Ross?" I asked as I looked between the two of them.

Alpha Wyatt answered me instantly with a raise of his hand, "We'll go in and attack him."

I didn't think that only one Alpha should go in, especially since Alpha Ross would probably have some rogues around him, so I supported Alpha Wyatt's answer more than I thought I would.

"That should work, so we'll wait for Rachel to send the message to the other packs." Alpha Clause replied, looking confident about our plan.

"So are we just going to wait until then?" Luna Ashley asked us, looking irritated.

"Yes." Alpha Wyatt answered her as he gave her a look that told her to keep quiet and a tight smile.

Later that day, Alpha Clause, Alpha Nathan,Alpha Sloan, Alpha Mason, Luna Kat, Luna Kasey and I found ourselves standing outside of Alpha Wyatt's pack house which Alpha Ross and his rogues have taken over. It was also a white mansion like Alpha Clause's pack house and had a once beautiful garden on the side that had been trampled on by probably the rogues.

Alpha Clause glanced at everyone as he nodded, "Don't worry, everyone. We just have to stick to the plan. Just follow my lead and everything will be fine."

"I'm sure it will be" Alpha Mason replied to us, looking me as he held onto my arms for support.

"Alright, everyone, move up this path until you reach the front entrance of the pack house." I instructed them and they followed my instructions even though I was a Luna, not an Alpha. I was glad that they took us equally. As we entered the living room of the pack house, I heard a few of them gasp as the smell of blood filled the air.

"This is wrong." Alpha Sloam whispered to himself while he moved closer to the group.

"Everyone, stay close together. We won't be able to go with the plan if we get separated." Alpha Mason warned us as he started to walk slowly forward towards the sta but a loud growl made us stop.

We all turned around to see two of Alpha Ross's rogues coming down the stairs of the pack house and I gestured towards under the stairs. I quickly hid under it then Alpha Clause and the others quickly followed me. They both came to a halt in front of us as they sniffed the air, but I kept my back to them. Then one of them pointed ahead and said something to the other before they turned around and started walking away.

The second one looked at me for a moment longer than the first one did, then he whispered something to the other man who nodded and they both walked away from the pack house.

I breathed a sigh of relief as I turned to look at Alpha Clause, "We can continue forward now."

"Alright, let's go." He agreed as he walked out form under the stairs. I did too along with the others.

We walked inside another room, and I felt my heart pounding fast when I saw the bodies lying on the floor.

"Stay calm, my one, they can't hurt you, I'm here to protect you." Alpha Clause murmured to me in a comforting voice as he gripped my arm tightly.

I gave him a small smile as I replied, "Thanks, honey, but I'm a strong woman, remember?"

He looked amused as he grinned at me, "Ah, yes, how can I forget?"

Our attention was pulled away by Alpha Mason's voice as he said, "We need to check each of these rooms carefully before we can find Alpha Ross."

"I know, but it's hard to focus with all these dead bodies." Luna Kat muttered with an irritated look on her face as she glanced at the body lying down in blood and I could tell that it wasn't a rogue, but a member of Alpha Wyatt's pack who had come here with his pack members to attack Alpha Ross before us just like we planned.

"Exactly, but we need to focus anyway and try to find him. Hopefully, Alpha Wyatt won the fight and not him since we gave him some of our pack warriors to go with him along with his pack members." Alpha Clause said as we walked further into the room that looked like a dining room.

"Yes, hopefully." Alpha Nathan added with a sigh.

Luna Kasey was holding onto his arm, looking scared as she looked around the room with a grimace on her face. Alpha Sloan was frowning like he usually was doing recently as we made our way to the other door. Alpha Clause was the first to reach it, so he pulled it open and walked in quietly.
