Chapter 67: Chapter 67

Carter bowed his head with an apologetic expression on his face, "I'm sorry, Alpha. I didn't realize that it was inside my bag until it was too late."

"It's fine, bring it over so that we can find him as soon as possible." Alpha Clause replied to him as he stretched his hand out to collect it.

Carter stepped towards him and handed it to him, "Here."

"Alright." He replied to him and Carter turned around to walk out of the study.

"Where is Alpha Ross?" Alpha Clause asked the Mirror of Wisdom as he looked into it and I watched from beside him.

His reflection cleared from the mirror and Alpha Ross's location was shown. He was standing inside a pack house's living room that looked similar to ours which meant that he had succeeded in taking over one of the packs. I wondered which pack it was. From the layout of the living room, I knew that it couldn't be our pack. I hoped the pack members were fine and unharmed.

I gasped as I shook my head, "No way!"

"But it seems that it's true. Alpha Ross has attacked and taken over one of the packs." Alpha Clause muttered as he shook his head.

I nodded as I swallowed hard, "That means there are four more packs left."

"Yes, and we need to inform Alpha Mason, Sloan, Alpha Nathan and Alpha Wyatt then find out which of their packs was attacked." He replied to me as he ran a hand through his dark hair, looking concerned. I was too.

"You really think that they will join us in fighting Alpha Ross off?" I questioned him since they might not want to fight him unless he attacked their packs.

He nodded as he glanced at me with a soft smile on his lips, "Of course! We won't be able to win this battle without them so we have no choice but to try our best to convince them otherwise. Besides, I think that they would all agree, except maybe Alpha Wyatt since he usually doesn't give out much help."

"Okay, I get it, they're also Lycans and we need their help to defeat Alpha Ross since he's also a Lycan and a crazed one at that." I replied to him as I glanced at the Mirror of Wisdom in his hands.

Alpha Clause grabbed my shoulder as he asked me with his smile tugging up on his lips, "Should we go there or just call them?"

I sighed as I thought about it for a moment before shaking my head, "Let's call them, that's so much easier and faster."

A knock came on the door of the study right then and we looked at it as Alpha Clause called out, "Come in."

Rachel walked in with Alpha Wyatt and Luna Ashley as she said, "Alpha, there's bad news. The West pack has been taken over by Alpha Ross."

"Yes, and we need to stay here since it's closest to our pack before we defeat him and get our pack back." Alpha Wyatt said with a nervous smile while Luna Ashley looked down with a small frown on her brows, ashamed to look up.

"I'll start preparing some food and water for the new pack members." Rachel informed us as she made her way out of the study.

"Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Alpha Clause questioned Alpha Wyatt as he glanced at him with frown on his face.

"The attack was so unexpected that I didn't even think of asking for help, but what's done is done. We can only seek shelter from you and find a way to defeat Alpha Ross."

Alpha Clause nodded, "Good. Now let's discuss how to go about this. We need to get ready to leave because we don't know how long it will take us to get the other packs' attention."

"I agree." Alpha Wyatt said as he put his hand on Alpha Clause's shoulder, "We need to prepare for the worst because he has a whole army of rogues with him."

"That's unexpected since we only saw a few when we went after him the other day." I replied to him and saw them nod before continuing, "Anyway, I have a plan to attack Alpha Ross and fight him."

Alpha Clause turned to look at me as he opened his mouth to speak when Rachel came into the room carrying a tray full of food and water, "Are you sure you want to go to war with Alpha Ross, Luna Fay? It's going be dangerous."

"Yeah, I'm not afraid and I can handle it." I said as I took the tray from her hands and placed it on the center table then gestured for Alpha Wyatt and Luna Ashley to sit down on the couch opposite ours while Rachel left.

Alpha Clause turned to look at me, "So what's your plan?"

"Well, since Alpha Wyatt already knows his pack house very well, we should make a map of it first and talk about how to attack Alpha Ross from there." I answered him with a confident smile.

"That would work." Alpha Clause nodded with a smile touching his lips, looking proud of me for coming up with such a plan as he looked at Alpha Wyatt, "How long will it take you to do that?"

"Oh, maybe thirty minutes to an hour, but I want to think it through first and scout it out in my mind before I draw anything." He answered him as they settled down on the couch.

"Okay, sounds good." Alpha Clause agreed as he rubbed his lightly bearded chin, "However, you and your Luna should eat first and rest since you must be tired from your long journey."

"I am a little tired, but I'll be fine." Alpha Wyatt replied while Luna Ashley only nodded.

"Don't say that, Rachel has brought over the food, so just relax and eat." I said to them with a kind smile.

Alpha Wyatt looked at me and smiled, "Thank you, Luna Fay and Alpha Clause."

"Yeah, thanks for taking us in and your hospitality." Luna Ashley muttered, looking embarrassed, and I guessed it was because their pack was taken over.
