Chapter 66: Chapter 66
I needed to feel his warm body against mine once more. We haven't had much time together since we entered the Forbidden Forest. We were both focused on defeating Alpha Ross and the Leprechauns, and we always had company. His lips left mine and trailed down my neck. All the while, he was nibbling and licking me everywhere he went. When he reached my collarbone, he bit it gently. A small moan escaped from my lips as I arched my back and pressed my chest harder against his. He took this as an invitation to bite me again.
"Ahhh!" I cried out as he continued biting me gently.
His teeth scraped along his mark on the skin of my neck and it made me shudder in pleasure. That was how we went on throughout the night mating.
The next day, Alpha Clause and I were sitting on the couch in his study, snuggling and watching a movie on his TV there when we heard a knock on his door.
I glanced at him in question since I didn't think that he was expecting anyone, but he shook his head in answer then glanced at the door as he said, "Come in."
The door opened and we saw that it was Beta Bailey. She entered the room looking nervous.
"Hey, Beta Bailey." I greeted her with a soft smile.
"Beta Bailey. Is everything alright?" Alpha Clause asked her with a small smile as he tightened his arm that was wrapped around my shoulders.
Bailey smiled nervously back at him while nodding at me and answered him as she stepped into the study, "Yeah, Alpha, Luna. It's just that Rachel and I have been talking, and she told me to tell you our plan."
"Really? What kind of plan is that?" He asked as her as we felt curious.
"Well," She started in a wobbly voice, "We were thinking that since you two are pretty much the only ones who know how to fight except for the warriors and we wanted to have you train all of the pack members in combat, not only the warriors since with Alpha Ross attacking us constantly, we're at risk of death or more injuries."
Alpha Clause blinked a few times before turning to me to ask, "Can you train them with me, Fay? Is that okay with you, baby?"
I grinned, loving the idea as I looked from Alpha Clause to her, "Of course! That sounds great. What sort of training do you have in mind?"
"Well, I was wondering if you two could start with training in wolf form first and then human form? And I was hoping that you two could teach us some combat techniques too for training in human form. Even though we know that you two have gone through a lot because of your journey to the Forbidden Forest, we're really hoping to start soon since we're kind of afraid that we might get attacked by Alpha Ross and his rogues soon, and we don't think that any of us would survive without your help."
I nodded at her, "Of course, we'd be happy to help you. I'm sure that you'll pick it up quickly though. You seem to be very bright."
Alpha Clause nodded as he added, "Yeah, I would love to train the pack too, it actually seems like a very good idea, so thank you for that, Bailey. As for starting the training soon, I'm sorry, but that would have to wait until after today which will be when we find Alpha Ross."
"Okay, that's fine, but when are you going?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.
"Later, we're waiting for Carter to come up with the Mirror of Wisdom. He went on patrol this morning with some others and took it with him." I answered her as I leaned my head against Alpha Clause's shoulder.
"Okay."
"Okay, so before we start your training, I want to see how to approach your own training since you're going to be totally new to it. Si I guess we should start with something simple. Let's say that you and I are fighting, and I try to attack you. How would you stop me?"
"Um, I… I would try to grab your hand." She answered me, nervously as she rubbed her arm, looking unsure.
I chuckled at her response, "And then what?"
"I'm sorry, I don't know what to do after that." She replied, looking embarrassed as she blushed.
"Bailey, your Luna is trying to show you how to defend yourself, so be free and express yourself. If I tried to grab your hand, what would you do?" Alpha Clause asked her with a serious look on his face.
She frowned at me as she shook her head, "I don't know. I wouldn't know what to do."
"Alright, I know your level of training now, so I'll know how to start teaching you and the others by tomorrow." I replied to her with a large, comforting grin even though I knew that Alpha Clause would probably do most of the training.
"That's great because we really need it, thank you, Luna Fay!" Bailey replied with a grinned.
"No problem. Now, how about you give us some privacy?" I asked her, wanting to spend some more time with my Alpha mate after being with a crowd throughout our journey.
"Oh, sure, sorry. I'll leave you two now." She said with a giggle then looked over at me as she wiggled her eyes playfully.
I nodded as she walked out of the study and pushed the door closed. As soon as she was out, another knock came in which made Alpha Clause and I look at each other in confusion, thinking of who it could be. He looked over at the door as he said, "Come in."
The door opened and Carter walked in, holding the Mirror of Wisdom in his hands. Alpha Clause sat up, pulling his arm away from my shoulders, knowing we were about to start business. I sat up too beside him as he said, "Carter, you shouldn't have taken the mirror with you to patrol this morning."
