"Yeah, I do." I replied to Alpha Clause with a nod before adding, "I mean, it would be nice if Henry could help us with defeating Alpha Ross once we look for him tomorrow with the Mirror of Wisdom."

"But you have to remember that he has a motive. His men may be coming after us." Alpha Clause said, looking cautious.

"I understand, but I trust him, and I don't know why, he just seems trustworthy to be. It's just a feeling about him. Don't you think so?" I replied to him a frown on my brows.

"Okay, yeah, but I still recommend that we keep your guard up. We can't really trust anyone in there." He replied to me with a serious look on his face.

"Agreed." I said with a small smile touching my lips.

"Tomorrow, when we go to find Alpha Ross to defeat him and his rogues, we need to be very careful." He added as he brushed strands of my hair away from my face.

"I know, but can we really go tomorrow? We're all very tired from being that God forsaken forest." I asked him, feeling exhausted as I moved the last bite of food into my mouth.

"I am well aware of that, but we don't know if he's going to try to escape if we wait to long. But we shouldn't worry about that now, let's try to get some sleep." He explained to me as his alluring dark eyes captured my brown ones and a soft smile tugged at his lips.

"Okay." I answered him and watched as he pulled back then raised from his chair at the head of the table.

"Are you coming?" Alpha Clause asked me when he saw that I was still seated.

"Not yet, I still have to talk to Bailey." I answered him as I snapped out of the trance that his captivating dark eyes put me through.

He looked like he wanted to protest, but nodded instead and leaned forward to kiss me on the cheek before moving back, "Alright, come to me soon, my one."

I nodded as I grinned at him and watched as he turned around to make his way up the stairs. My attention was pulled away from him by Bailey as she asked me from beside me on the dining table, "What's wrong?"

I turned to her with a smile as I answered her, "It's not a big deal, I wanted to ask you something."

"Okay, shoot." She replied to me with a smile.

"Do you like being our new Beta?" I asked her, hoping that she was liking the position since she didn't volunteer for it. I did like that she was Beta and that she took care of things pretty well, but I wasn't sure how she felt. I only wanted to make sure that she was comfortable.

She gasped as she looked at me with shock like she couldn't believe that I would actually ask that, "Oh, you're so sweet, Luna Fay! Of course, I like it a lot, actually, I love being Beta. I also really like the way that you and Alpha Clause trust me to take care of the pack as Beta."

"That's good, I'm glad that you are enjoying the position." I said smiling at her. "But you can tell me if there's anything that bothers you about the pack or anything that you find difficult, okay?"

"Sure, thanks Luna Fay." She replied to me with a large grin.

I nodded as I stood up, "You're welcome, thanks for taking care of the pack while we were gone too, Bailey. Anyway, I need to rest, so I will be going to bed now."

"Alright, good night and have fun in bed with Alpha Clause." She said, playfully with a teasing smile.

I let out a small laugh as I stood up from the table and made my way to the stairs to my and Alpha Clause's bedroom. I felt excited as I couldn't wait to be intimate with him again after not being able to make love or even kiss while we were in the Forbidden Forest. As soon as I reached the top of the stairs, I stripped off my clothes and crawled into bed, not having the energy to wear a lingerie for him. Just then, I heard the bathroom door open. I turned over to see Alpha Clause standing by the side of the bed. He looked down at me with a gentle expression on his face.

"Fay." He murmured my name as he climbed onto the bed and began kissing me.

His lips felt soft against mine as they brushed against mine, making delightful shivers run through my body. The next thing I knew, I was lying underneath him as he hovered above me. For a moment, he just stared down at me with those beautiful green eyes of his. Then, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to mine once more.

We both moaned softly as our tongues danced together. The feeling of his hard chest pressing against my breasts made me shiver. Soon, we broke our kiss and moved towards each other until he was lying completely on top of me. He pressed his body against mine tightly while running his fingers through my silky dark hair. My hands wandered down to his muscular back as I pulled him closer to me.

"Clause..." I moaned his name which made him groan against my jawline as he pressed kisses along it.

Alpha Clause lifted himself up so that he could look at me and murmured in his husky, yet velvety deep voice, "I missed mating with you, baby."

Delightful shivers ran through my body at the sound of his sexy voice and his words. Before I knew what was happening, his lips was against mine again and his tongue was sliding inside my mouth. It tasted sweet and I didn't want to pull away. Before long, he had me moaning against his lips as he kissed me passionately. My hands slowly moved up to the sides of his neck as I pulled him closer to me.
