Chapter 59: Chapter 59

He glanced at me as he moved his hand away from the lock and stood back so that the door would open, "Yeah, I've finally found it, and now, we can get out of this hell of a forest and get home."

The others cheered around us, and started towards the door while Carter held the door for us to walk out. Alpha Clause walked out into the hallway full of smaller trees inside the huge tree that we were in, and I followed him next then Alpha Nathan, Luna Kasey, Alpha Mason, Alpha Wyatt, Alpha Sloan, Luna Kat, Luna Ashley and Carter.

Once again we found ourselves in another long hallway with wooden doors on either side. A few of them had windows that gave us a glimpse of the dark blue night of the outside forest, though most of them did not. The hallway ended in one more door which led to another set of stairs leading up to the second floor. It seemed that we followed a longer route, not the shorter one that Asgard led us through. That was good since that would mean chances of meeting him on our way out would be slim.

Even though I wanted to teach him a lesson for being so mischievous with us and trapping us, I knew that we were still in his territory, and he could easily trap us again. So we needed to get out of that giant tree before trying to kill him. However, we also needed to get out of this God forsaken forest first before we got into anymore danger.

It took quite some time for us to make our way to the top of the stairs and reached an opening at the top of the giant tree. It was a wooden door and Alpha Clause pushed it open as soon as he reached it first. He sighed in relief and so did I when I saw the Forbidden Forest came into view. Luna Kat also gasped in relief while the others smiled in relief. Alpha Clause glanced at me as he said, "Wait here, I will jump down first and catch you."

"Okay." I answered him with a small smile touching my lips.

I watched as Alpha Clause jumped down from the tree and landed on the ground in a sqaut. He straightened up and raised his hands in a gesture to catch me as he nodded at me, "Jump, Fay."

I jumped down from the top of the giant tree and landed right in his arms as he caught me. I couldn't help, but laugh at the feeling of flying in the air as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He laughed with me as his alluring dark eyes captured my brown ones. Soon, our laughter died down and we were staring into each other's eyes.

However, our moment was cut short by the sound of a gasp. We both turned around to see Alpha Nathan holding onto Luna Kasey in his arms as she also landed in his arms. The hewolves started landing on the ground and catching their Luna's in their arms. Alpha Clause placed me back on the ground and I unwrapped my arms from around his neck.

He stepped towards me as his hand cupped my face and his alluring dark eyes met my brown ones, "Are you okay, baby?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, honey. Don't worry, we just need to get out of this forest now or I'm going to lose it." I answered him as my lips stretched into a reassuring smile.

His gaze lingered on mine and I felt my heart race as I noticed how close his face was to me and how long it has been since we've kissed much less made love. It felt like forever even though it was barely two days. I could see the want and love in his eyes as we stared at each other, caught in the moment.

I didn't realize that our faces were moving closer to each other's until when our lips almost brushed and we heard Luna Kat mutter, "Tell me bout it. I'm this close to losing it."

We both stepped back and turned to see her holding her index finger and thumb closely together. I glanced at Alpha Clause, wondering if he was going to wait until we left the forest before he kissed me or mated with me. I drew in a breath and let it out, hoping that we got out of that forest instantly. Even though I knew that we needed to concerntrate on our mission to get out of this forest and defeat Alpha Ross, I couldn't help, but crave his touch, his kiss and his warmth.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard Alpha Mason exclaim, "Yeah, we're all so tired of this forest and can't wait to get out."

"I'm so pissed at that little, cunning Leprechaun for doing this to us! I want to find him and tear his little head off his tiny body." Alpha Wyatt said in a growl as he looked angry with a frown on his brows.

"I'm mad at him too, but we shouldn't waste any more time in this forest." Alpha Sloan grunted with a frown on his brows and his lips pressed in a thin line. I was surprised that he spoke up since he has been unusually quiet since Luna Hailey passed away. Surprisingly, he was taking her death better than I thought since he stayed half of that day holding her after she died and they had to try hard to get him to let her go.

"You're right, and we're definitely getting out of this forest tonight." Alpha Clause replied to him as we all started forward.

"But we don't even know which part to take. We're lost." Luna Ashley grumbled as she crossed her arms against her chest.

"It doesn't matter, we're just going to go where our instinct tells us and get out of here. Better than spending more time in this God forsaken forest." I muttered with a frown on my brows, feeling frustrated, and the others nodded in agreement.
