Chapter 48: Chapter 48

I felt a bit relieved at his response and smiled back at him as I nodded, "Yeah, you're right, you're going to be just fine, but be careful, honey."

"I will be." He muttered as he leaned his face closer to mine to brush his lips against my forehead before pulling back.

He turned around to face the lake and didn't bother taking off his shoes as he jumped into the lake. I watched as Alpha Clause dived into the Lake of Eversea to retrieve the Mirror of Wisdom which could be seen gleaming from under the lake. However, just before he reached the mirror, a giant, black dragon that looked like a snake appeared in front of the mirror. The dragon started shooting fire at Alpha Clause through his mouth while he tried to fight him to get to the mirror.

"Crap! This is bad!" I yelled in panic as I ran towards the lake and knelt down at the edge, "Avoid it, Clause!"

"Don't worry, Luna Fay, he's going to be fine." Alpha Nathan reassured me with a smile on his lips.

Alpha Clause was fighting against the huge dragon with his claws as he transformed into his Lycan form under the lake. It didn't seem like he would win as the black dragon looked very powerful and gigantic, but I believed that my Alpha mate would somehow win and get the mirror. My belief came through as Alpha Clause struck the dragon in its long neck which made it shriek loudly.

Alpha Clause took that opportunity to swim around it and grab the mirror from the sandy floor of the lake. He started swimming back while clutching it with one hand. However, just before he reached the surface, the dragon's long tail swiped towards him. Thankfully, he saw it coming and swam further up, dodging it by a few inches. As he reached the surface, I helped him get on land as he breathed heavily.

He swiped his wet hair back as he placed the mirror on the ground beside him. I looked at him with worry in my eyes as I asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, don't worry, my Fay. We should be happy that we have finally gotten the Mirror of Wisdom." He answered me as he looked over at the others.

They all cheered, clapping as Alpha Mason stepped forward with a smile on his lips, "And we are very happy, thank you for your hard work, Clause. Should we ask it where Alpha Ross is right now?"

He nodded as he answered him, "Yes, I will ask it right now since we need to find out urgently."

"Yeah." I muttered as the others nodded in reply.

"Where is Alpha Ross?" Alpha Clause asked the Mirror of Wisdom as he held it up in front of him.

The mirror showed his reflection at first before it showed the image of an old abandoned building then it zoomed in to show a worn out living room. Alpha Ross was standing inside the room as he talked with others who assumed were rogues. We couldn't see who they were because they were all wearing hoods.

A frown fell on my brows as I asked, "Where are they?"

"It's the Old abandoned warehouse and it's located in the woods on a huge piece of land that used to belong to the Alpha Clause's pack." Alpha Mason explained to me as he recognized the house.

"But how can we get there before he finds out and runs away? I mean going through the Forbidden Forest took us a day and a half, so can we really get there on time?" Luna Kat asked as she looked worried.

"Yeah, we have to find another way." Alpha Nathan agreed as he also looked worried like the rest of us except Alpha Sloan who had a blank expression on his face as he listened to everything.

"I have an idea." Alpha Clause said, pulling our attention to him. He held the mirror to his side as he continued, "We need the teleporting potion. It's very powerful and I brought one with us. It's in our traveling bag. The potion will teleport us to wherever we want to go."

"That's great!" Alpha Mason and Alpha Wyatt exclaimed at the same time while Alpha Nathan nodded in response along with Luna Kasey.

"What a relief!" Luna Kat exclaimed while I grinned at my Alpha mate, feeling glad that we wouldn't have to go through that forest again. My thoughts wandered to Asgard, the leader of the Leprechauns that caged us. Why were they so hell bent on eating us? We're Leprechauns always savages? I was pulled out of my thoughts as I heard Carter's reply.

"That would be perfect, Alpha." Carter agreed with a relieved smile as he opened our traveling bag that he was holding for us. He took out several tiny pink potion bottles with a green label and handed it to everyone.

Alpha Clause glanced at me as he opened up his bottle, he gave me a reassuring smile as he whispered, "We're almost there, my Fay."

I knew that he was referring to getting rid of Alpha Ross which would bring a stop to all of the rogue attacks on us and foil his plan of taking over each of our packs to become a tyrant ruler. So I nodded as my lips stretched into a smile and I muttered back, "I know, Clause."

He looked pleased with my answer and tipped his bottle back to drink it. I glanced at the others to see that they have already teleported, so I did the same with the thought of the old abandoned warehouse that we saw in the mirror just as Alpha Clause disappeared too. As I threw the bottle aside, I saw the yellow eyes of the evil Lepachaun, Asgard as he grinned mischievously from the bushes.

I gasped at seeing him just as I felt the potion rush like fire rushing through my veins, but after a few minutes, I wasn't in the clearing anymore, but standing in front of the abandoned warehouse.
