Chapter 33: Chapter 33

"Sometimes, some come to you when you seek their vision and others don't." Rachel answered me as her smile widened, looking pleased with my reaction.

I felt excited as I exclaimed, "But you can still see the future! That's amazing!"

"Not just the future, she can see the past and present too." Bailey replied to me as she made her way to sit down beside me on the couch that I was sitting on while the brown haired rogue went to sit on the arm chairs along with two of the others that came with us while rest made their way down a hallway talking amongst themselves.

"That's even more amazing!" I exclaimed again as I grinned.

I heard Alpha Clause's velvety and sexy deep voice chuckle, pulling my attention to the staircase to see him making his way down. He looked amused as he made his way to me, "Yes, it is amazing indeed, and this means that we can find out where Alpha Ross is easily."

"Yeah, I don't know why we didn't think of that in the first place, but it's a good thing that we did go there because we found that letter clue." I replied to him just as he reached me and sat down beside me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and pulling me into him.

I ravelled in his warmth and muscular torso pressing against me as I smiled at him. His lips tugged up into a smile as he smiled back and said, "Yeah, I'm glad that we did go too."

I couldn't look away from is captivating dark eyes as he stared into my brown eyes. We were caught in the moment as our faces started inching closer and the tension between us started rising. However, we were pulled out of it by Rachel asking, "Should I start looking for where he is now?"

We both stopped moving our faces closer to one another's and turned to her. My face flushed in a blush as I realized that Alpha Clause and I almost kissed in front of the pack members. But Alpha Clause didn't seem affected at all as he nodded at her, "Yes."

"Alright." She answered him as she straightened up on the couch, making the rogue wolf with the shaved head and Carter watch her with wide eyes.

"Wait, I need to know. Are you half witch or did you inherit this gift from your ancestors?" I asked her curiously.

She smiled, "Yes, it was passed down from my parents and their parents. Well, I shall begin now."

I nodded as I watched her carefully, amazed.

Bailey, the other rogue and two guys that were sitting beside him also watched her with wide eyes. However, Alpha Clause didn't look surprised at all like he had seen her do it before and he probably has. She closed her eyes and started chanting something under her breath which I couldn't make out even with my werewolf hearing which led me to believe that it was a word in another language.

After a few moments, a frown fell on her brows and a few beads of sweat formed on her forehead. Her eyes popped open as she breathed heavily, looking older than she did a few minutes ago as she said in a breathless tone, "I can't find him. I tried my best to try and locate him, but there seems to be some kind of weight weighing me down as soon as I do and my vision gets blocked. It seems that he has had a witch cast a spell to hide him from the Oracle's eyes."

"Oh no, now, how are we going to find Alpha Ross and stop him before he completes his plan of conquering all the packs?" I asked as concern showed on my face.

"There is another way." Rachel answered me as she patted her brows with a handkerchief that she pulled out from her blue jeans pocket.

"What way is that?" Alpha Clause asked her as a curious frown fell on his brows.

"The Mirror of Wisdom. You must have heard about it before since you have lived many years on this earth as our Lycan Alpha."

He looked a bit surprised that she mentioned it and let out a breath as he answered her, "Yes, I have heard of the Mirror of Wisdom before."

I felt curious as I asked him, "What is the Mirror of Wisdom?"

He glanced at me as his lips twitched up into a smile, "It is a mirror that shows everything that is happening in the past, present and future. It also shows whoever you want to see, and answers all questions."

"That's great! We can now find Alpha Ross easily before he launches another attack." I exclaimed feeling relieved.

Bailey shook her head as she said, looking anxious, "Actually, it won't be that easy. The Mirror of Wisdom is buried inside a lake called the Lake of Eversea."

"Yes, and you have to cross through the Forbidden Forest before you get to the Lake. The forest is enchanted and there are so many evil witches and creatures in there that could try to kill you. No one is known to survive that Forest much less find the Mirror of Wisdom."

"Wow! That sounds like an adventure! I'm very excited to go." I exclaimed, feeling truly excited because I have never seen such adventure in my life before, only in fairy tales.

Alpha Clause looked amused at my enthusiasm as he smiled at me, his lips spreading into a charming smile, "It sounds like a fun adventure, but it's very dangerous, Fay, so I want you to stay here with Bailey and Rachel while we travel to find the mirror."

My smile instantly dropped as a small frown fell on my brows and my lips curled into a pout, "No, honey, I really want to go. Besides, how can I let you go without me? Worry would kill me just thinking about you going through that forest while I'm not there to have your back. And this is a really fun adventure that I can't miss!"

He chuckled in his velvety deep voice, sending delightful shivers through my body at seeing my reaction, "Fine, I can't say no to you anyway."
