The next day

ALEX'S POV

I walked to my brothers at the dinning table.

I walked closer to Aiden. He looked up at me and asked. "What's up bro" gosh, I feel like killing this guy, the guts he has.

"I just have one thing to say to you"

"Well, the floor is yours, shoot then"

"Stay away from her, far far away" I warned sternly.

He scoffed, the rest chuckled.

"I don't get it Alex , she's not your girlfriend, why are you so protective of her" Aiden asked nonchalantly.

"1, you don't love her, you just want to use and dump her, and two you are not her type"

"So you are here type, and also, mother*cker, who falls in love at teenage age" he asked carelessly. How the hell did this block head end up being my twin.

"I won't warn you again" I stated and walked out.

"Go find a life Alex" I heard Jake shout out.

I stumped upstairs, when I got to the west wing hallway, before I could look up I had already bumped into someone. I looked up.

"Hey mum" I greeted and made to walk out but she dragged me back.

"Woaw woaw, dude, what's up" she asked in concern.

"I'm fine mum, I replied without looking at her, cause I know that if I look at her, without a question she'd know that something is definitely wrong.

"Then why aren't you looking at me" she asked as she crossed her hand on her chest.

"Mum I said I'm fine"

"Can you stop talking as if I don't know you, my mini husband came home raging with anger, and he's telling me nothing happened, tell me, what did your brothers do to you at school"

"You wanna know, fine, tell Aiden to leave her alone" I barked and walked out ignoring her calls.

"Aiden, Alex said you should leave her alone, whoever she is" I heard her scream, lol, crazy woman, she just knows how to crack me up each time I'm angry or sad.

I got into my room and shut the door, I threw my back pack on my bed, I don't usually do that, this whole thing has totally disorganized me today.

Why wasn't I there to save her from those witches, why is she always getting on their nerves each time I'm not with her. I guess I should always be with her everywhere except in class and in the bathroom.

My door opened and mum walked in, she kept her hands akimbo. Trouble.

"So who's the she" she asked seriously.

"A friend of mine, Aiden has been teasing her, something like that" I replied and Romoved my shirt.

"A girl from your school, Alex last time I checked, you said that all the girls in your school are all shameless sluts, or isn't this one from your school" she asked.

"She just got in two days ago, and yesterday Aiden caused a fight between she and her sister, I found out today"

"I don't understand, how did Aiden cause the fight"

"Her sister is his girlfriend, but mother*cker doesn't seem to be satisfied, he had to ask Andrea out, her sister found out and slapped her at school" I explained.

"Oh my God, that's not good, why would Aiden even want to date two sisters"

"Because he's a block head, a complete idiot" I barked and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

ANDRA'S POV

"Hey Andra, why weren't you at school today" I heard Titi ask me during dinner.

"Hmmmh" I had to mutter cause I didn't know if she was talking about my own Andra or another one I don't know of, cause as far as I'm concerned I pretty much went to school today, so why would she be asking such quest.

"What do you mean 'Hmmmh', didn't you hear what she asked" Jenny asked.

"I did, I just wasn't sure if she was talking to me cause I know I was at school today." I replied.

"But where were you? Cause we didn't see you during recess, we went to your class and your classmates told us that you they haven't seen you" Titi stated as she scooped a spoon of salad into her plate of spaghetti.

What are they talking about, weren't they the ones Alex warned not to touch me today right in my presence after that Aiden guy asked me out on a date.

"I don't understand you guys" I asked them, mum and dad were already staring at me In a way I that is giving me goose bumps. Especially dad.

Skipping school in an African home is like a death wish, so unacceptable. And in my own African home, just consider yourself disowned.

What is Titi's plan?

"Did you really skip school today Andra" dad asked with venom in his eyes.

"No dad, I don't know what they are talking about, I met them at school face to face, they almost beat me up..."

"What!" My mum exclaimed.

Dad turned to Titi and asked if that was true but she blatantly denied.

"Gosh, dad no, why would we beat her up at school" Lola defended.

"Cause you do beat her at home" mum fired.

"Only when she messes up, she's the youngest one and that's why we usually try to discipline her at home, we only protect her in school" Titi stated.

"From what" mum asked.

"From bullies" Jenny replied.

"I thought you said there are no bullies in your school" dad asked, reminding them what they said before.

"We.....yea but....well..." Jenny stammerd.

"What she meant to say was that, Andra is so troublesome, so she usually annoys some people who wouldn't put up with her shit like we do, so they beat her up." Lola backed up.

"Andra that I know is not troublesome" mum defended me, I smiled a thank you to her.

"Of course, you will always protect her, she must have gone out with some boy and skipped school but you wouldn't wanna hear it, all you think about is protecting your little queen" Titi barked angrily and that's when I realized what this whole thing is all about.

"Titi is this about your boyfriend who asked me out, is that why you are trying to shame me huh?, girl I said no, you were there, jeez you are so unbelievable" I stated and faced my food, letting dad do the fighting for me.

"What was that?" He asked her.

"What was what" she asked back.

"Young lady if you dare return my question ever again, you will regret your life" he fired. "Did I hear her say boyfriend?" He asked.

"Yes dad, Aiden Hathaway, I'm sure you've met him before" I backed up.

My sisters glared daggers at me, I rolled my eyes at them and turned back to my food.

"You know what, damn you and damn you" Titi fired, pointing at mum and dad.

"I'm trying to help you shape up your useless daughter who has been whoring in school, if you think I'm lying, why don't you come to school youself and check it out"

"That wouldn't be necessary, she's the talk of the school right now, here is a video someone posted on the school WhatsApp group" Lola stated and handed Her phone over to dad and since I was sitting beside him, I could see it and hear it completely.

'O M G, this Andra girl is such a dirty slut, she just came 2 days ago and she's already f*cking Alex, gush. So annoying, I mean how can someone be so cheap, I bet she's the one who has been chasing Alex ever since she came, stupid bitch, guys I totally hate that girl, what about you' the video ended and then the replies.

*she totally is cheap, just yesterday I saw her with Aiden Hathaway and she was smiling like a dying cow*

*she wanted to seduce literature teacher the very first day she......* I didn't finish reading that one when my dad dropped the phone with horror in his eyes, he probably had lost his sense of speech, I lost my sense of speech, I mean who wouldn't after reading and listening to something as horrible as that.

Who's responsible for this, I know my sisters are responsible for my dad seeing it but they are definitely not the ones that typed them, its other students, is this how much everyone in school hates me now, just because of Alex.

Mum took the phone and read the chats, she held her chest and shut her eyes. She finally opened them and they landed on me with questions behind them.

I shook my head and tried to tell her that I'm innocent, its just hatred of some obsessed students. But my mouth was stuck, my lips glued to each other and the words disappeared.

Dad stood up, drank water and without a word he walked out.

Mum followed suit, the fact that they don't ask me anything is very frustrating, they'll just believe anything, but who wouldn't believe that, its very convincing, In fact if not they they were talking about me, I would have believed it myself.

I heard the sound of a fork hit the table aggressively, I jerked up and turned to the direction it came from.

Titi.

"This is just the beginning, I'll So deal with you Andra, you will regret ever coming into this family without permission" she fired and stood up.

I'm already regretting it, I just wanna die.

"Why can't you just die and leave us alone" Lola barked quietly.

If only it was that easy, I would have been dead by now.

"I hate you so much" Jenny fired.

The feeling is mutual.

The eyed me for a moment before walking out.

And as usual, I felt like dying.

9:21pm.

I finished taking my night bath, I slipped on a pj and quietly slipped into bed.

I wanted to think about my life but for how long will I continue doing that. Every night I do it, what has it gotten me? Nothing but more worries, I'm tired of it all.

I sighed when I heard my phone ringing. At least a little distraction.

I checked the caller ID Alex, lol, I wasn't expecting him to call after I forcefully typed in my number in his phone and dialed it.

Am I really a whore, I mean I had to force Alex to take my number.

No, I'm not, I didn't call him, I had even forgotten I gave him my number, and I only gave it cause he's my friend, nothing more, Alex is a good guy, cute, hell hot, but I don't like him in that way, to me he's nothing but a friend. I don't know why everyone is so angry about that. So annoying.

I picked the call.

"Hey you" he greeted softly.

I had to act cool, lol.

"I didn't expect that you'd call" I said without enthusiasm.

"Trying to be the cool one huh?" He asked, and I could swear he was smirking.

"What are you talking about, its just a question I expect you to answer." I replied.

"Whatever... Well I was kinda lonely" he complained.

"And you thought I would make you feel better mhm?"

"Yea, stupid me, I forgot I'm even better than you in being fun"

"Is that supposed to be an insult" I fired playfully at him.

"Its just called truth" he replied.

"Well I have a story that can crack you up" I said.

"Oooh, I'm loving this now, shoot me" he replied, i laughed a little when I imagined him adjusting in his bed.

I told him what happened that night.

I wasn't expecting his laughter that followed the end of my night tale.

"Are you laughing" I asked with a twisted brow.

"Of course, like seriously, your sisters crack me up with their problems" he replied amidst laughter.

"They didn't make this one up, I saw it in the WhatsApp group"

"I saw it too"

"So why are you laughing"

"Because its funny, you and i, what!" He continued laughing, and I joined him.

"But seriously, your sisters aren't playing games, those girls are into real deal, they really wanna ruin you."

"What can I do, I'll have to wait and watch how it ends"

"I have a suggestion for you though, you could run away"

"Did you just say that, or did it slip out"

"I kinda just said it" he replied and let out a crazy little laugh.

"Alex you are so naughty"

"So in other words, that's not an option" he asked.

"Alex if you say that to me again, I'll spank you when I get to school tomorrow, crazy guy.

He laughed.

"I have to go now, I gat home work to do" I said to him.

"Yea, me too, I'll see you tomorrow then" he asked.

"Yea"

"Have you been ungrounded, I actually wanna take you somewhere?" He asked.

"Wow, you do go out after school apart from home, that's cool, but I'll pass, I'm still grounded"

"Courtesy of your witches" he breathed out.

"They are still my sisters Alex" I chuckled out and he did the same.

"Good night Andra"

"Good night Alex" I replied and hung up.

"So it's true..." I jerked out of my skin when I heard my dad's voice, he was standing right at my door, staring daggers at me. "There is an Alex"

"Dad I can explain, I never said there's no Alex but we are just fr......"

"I thought you were one person I can at least trust after what your sisters did months ago, but you are just even more disappointing Than them" he stated quietly. "A boyfriend under my roof, I won't let you disgrace me Andra, I'm doubling your security from tomorrow"

"I don't understand dad, we don't even have bodyguards" I asked.

"I said security not guards, from tomorrow Andra, school won't be 'fun' nor 'Alex'" he fired and stormed out.

"Dad you are misunderstanding everyth....." The door shut at my face.
