CHAPTER 11

"Dad you are misunderstanding everyth....." The door shut at my face.

What have I gotten myself into.

I sighed weakly but deeply, I slowly slide into my blanket and slept off, wondering what dad has planned for me or should I say against me, but in whatever that will happen starting from tomorrow, I just have one thing to say to my broken soul.

*hakuna matata*

"Andra get down quickly, breakfast is served" I heard mum scream from the breakfast table.

"Coming mum" I shouted back, I powdered my face a little and ran downstairs.

"Good morning mum" I greeted her.

"How was your night my dear" she asked with a smile as she buttered my toasted bread.

"It was....it was..fine I guess" I stuttered.

My mum sighed and dropped my food on the table, two slices of toasted butter bread, scrambled eggs and a glass fresh orange juice.

"You guess?" She asked rhetorically i think.

"Well I was turning around all night wondering what dad was planning but I think I'll be fine." I replied and scooped some egg into my mouth.

"He's not planning anything bad for you Andra, He's your father, He's just protecting you, plus a few security won't hurt. Besides you caused all of this, if you hadn't....." She sighed and turned back to the table.

"Come on, complete your statement, if I hadn't done what, had a boyfriend, is that what you were gonna say, come on, say it." I urged her, I was getting really pissed off with her, she of all people should have known me by now, but no, once a boyfriend is mentioned in an african home, just forget what it means to be loved by your parents, to them you will automatically become a liar, a disrespectful child, even a criminal.

This is so annoying.

"Andra calm down" mum pleaded quietly but regretted it.

"Don't you dare tell me to calm down...." I screamed at her, she jerked backwards and almost fell.

"Andra" I heard Lola shout as she and her sisters ran to mum.

"Jesus, what has gotten into you" Titi fired, I know they were just pretending to care just to look like the good ones, but that's not the point right now, the point is that I almost made my mum fall, really what has gotten into me, I always know how to bottle up and control my anger, how can I let it out on my mum just because of these devil's daughters.

"Mum, I'm sorry... Im so sorry" I apologized.

"Dad was right, bitch you should not have a boyfriend at a very young age, its a total distraction, now look what you did to mum, I'm pretty sure her blood pressure is rising right now" Jenny spat out.

"Stop, please stop it, I already said I'm sorry and I don't have any boyfriend, why are you guys lying against me." I asked in tears.

"You are...." Titi tried to speak but dad's voice interrupted her.

"Andra what are you still doing at home" he fired.

"Good morning dad, I uh, I'm having my breakfast, and the driver hasn't resumed work yet" I greeted and explained.

"Andra the driver has been here for the past half an hour" Titi stated and I turned to her, what is she talking about, I checked him from upstairs and didn't see the car parked in the usual spot indicating that he was waiting, how come he's here now. What is going on in this house.

"Andra make sure you leave this house 7:15am on the dot, not a second after every morning from now on" dad instructed, throwing me off balance.

"I don't understand dad, since when did you start keeping time for me" I asked in confusion.

"Since you've decided to be that kind of daughter, the driver is waiting for you" he stated nonchalantly and left.

I sighed deeply, I turned to my sisters and caught them smirking Evily at me, I looked at mum and she smiled a bit to me.

"I'm sorry mum" I apologized again.

"Its OK angel" she stated.

"OK?, are you serious, you almost had a heart attack and all you have to say is its OK" Titi barked.

"Won't you girls go to school early as well" mum asked.

"Well we are not shameless whores like your princess, fuck it, I'm outta here" Lola fired and walked out. Jenny eyed me and followed her. Titi glared daggers at me before walking out. Heading back upstairs.

"Take care of yourself at school" I heard mum say as I walk out the door.

<<<<<Lily Ivy High School>>>>>

"Yo bitch, heard you've missed soccer practice since yesterday, why?" I heard a girl ask behind me as I was walking down the hallway to my lucker.

I didn't know if she was talking to me but I know pretty much that I haven't been to soccer practice after my first day which I've considered to be my last day.

I just ignored her and kept walking. But suddenly I felt a push and I lost balance and fell.

I picked myself up immediately and turned to the bitch, it was the soccer team captain, Jade.

"You know I was really wrong about you being nice, I just regret that I only realized it too late"

"Too bad for you cutie" she stated. "You didn't answer my question though, why haven't you been to practice huh" she asked and dragged my hair.

"Ouch" I screamed and snatched my hair from her hand. "What is wrong with you girl, leave me alone" I yelled at her.

She scoffed and walked closer to me, I tried stepping back but my back hit a locker, informating me that I've gotten to the end of the road.

"You aren't bailing on us are you, you can't quit soccer bitch, no one quits soccer" she whispered but the sound of that sent chills down my spine. But I can't let my guard down.

"Or what" I fired.

Students were already gathering around us, each of them had evil smiles on their faces, I felt like I'm being surrounded by zombies. But I can't let them see how scared I am.

Jade walked closer and scratched my left cheek with her long nail, it hurts so much that I thought my face is being burnt. I shook off her.

"Or you will regret it" she finally breathed out.

I felt like I was going to suffocate in the next 10 seconds, but suddenly I felt a strong hand on my wrist, like lightning, the hand dragged me out.

"Oh hey Alex, Andra and I were just having a little chit chat" I heard Jade defend.

I looked up and saw Alex glaring at her.

"Clearly, that's what I'm seeing" he replied sarcastically.

"Come on Alex, it's just a team thing, you don't have any right to interfer" I heard Titi's voice, I turned to the direction and saw her, them actually, walking closer to us with their boyfriends, I guess she made up with Aiden, whatever, how did they get here so quick.

Everyone scampered away as they got closer.

"True Lexy, let the girls do their thing." Lola backed up.

Alex opened his mouth to reply but he closed it back, he pointed at Jade and still didn't say a word, he just turned and dragged me out.

"Are you OK" he asked as well walked down to my locker.

"Yea, I actually had it controlled" I stated without staring at him.

"Clearly" he replied sarcastically.

I couldn't help but laugh, he chuckled.

"Yea, I was actually gonna pass out if not that.... Just forget it so that you won't start feeling like a hero" I chuckled out and he laughed heartily. I like it when he laughs. Lol.

We got to my locker, I typed in my password, the locker beeped and I pushed it open.

"So what do you have this morning" Alex asked me.

"Umh, according to my tiring schedule, I have math" I replied.

"Merged class" he announced funnily.

I frown a little, but remembering he would be there, I joined him in laughing.

"Come on, don't make us late as usual, you are cursed with lateness" he chuckled out and took my arms and we walk out.

"You are the one who's cursed, naughty boy" I replied and he laughed.

We got into the class and all eyes landed on us, I always hate this moment.

Well luckily the teacher hasn't arrived yet.

Alex didn't leave my hand, he took me with him to the back.

We sat on the last two seats and for no reason we were just giggling as if we were on a date, we can't really tell what was funny but something was definitely making us laugh, it was like a flu.

The teacher walked in, a young beautiful lady of about 28, I guess all the teachers in this school are just young.

"Hey you guys" she greeted.

"Hi miss veera" few students replied.

"OK so, first you all are gonna have to submit your assignment, before we can start a new topic" she instructed.

She paced around for a while "so I'm gonna walk around to see it, OK" she stated.

I have no idea what the assignment is about, since I wasn't here when she gave it, I decided to relax, Alex reached for his back pack and brought out a bootlet and dropped it on his table.

"You never miss any school work, do you" I asked with a light smile.

He chuckled. "So you love to miss school wor..." He didn't finish when an announcement was made through the communication speaker.

*Andra Edward, please report to the principal's office* the announcer stated.

My heart Skipped a bit.

Why will I be summoned to the principal's office, what have I done this time, or perhaps what did my sisters do this time.

I sat rigid and watched the door but I felt so heavy to stand up, I couldn't breathe for a second, ever since high school, being summoned to the principal's office is one of my worst moments.

"Hey, Andra this is the fourth time it's being announced, won't you go" I heard Alex whisper to me.

"I hate principal's office, all office that has to do with principal." I whispered back and he laughed.

I realized that everyone was already staring at me but they are the least of my problems.

"Who's Andra Edward" Miss veera asked.

"The bitch over there" A girl pointed at me.

"Watch the language young lady" miss veera warned.

"So Andra, what are you waiting for" she asked me and I shook my head.

I turned to Alex, "OK fine, come on, let's go" he said and stood up, he took my hands and we walked to the front.

"Were you also called Alex" miss veera asked as well were passing her.

"No, she's not feeling too well, so I have to take her" Alex replied.

She waved her hands for us to leave, so we ran out.

We got to the principal's office, Alex knocked and the principal asked us to come in. He opened the door and we walked in.

"Oh no, not with him again" Mrs collins muttered and I wondered if she was OK. And what does she mean by that.

"Is everything OK Mrs. Collins" Alex asked.

"Guys I don't know how to explain this, this has been in the constitution of this school, under security, but I've never seen any parents place it on their child before" she stated, getting us more confused, but the 'security's part sounded so familiar.

"How do you mean" Alex asked.

"Yea, you are confusing us the more" I backed up.

"Andra you are not allowed to see Alex anymore" she stated without looking at us.

"What are talking about"

"What is that supposed to mean" Alex and I asked at the same time.

"Your father extended your security in school, you can't be seen around any boy, especially Alex, or any wild girl, you'll be giving a private cafeteria, and during your free period, you are only allowed to be at the library" she concluded.

"Bullshit" Alex barked.

"Language young man"

"Don't tell me that, what is this, an army barracks or what, what Sort of stupid constitution is that." He barked.

I couldn't comprehend the whole thing, so that's what dad meant by security.

I slid down on a couch and looked beyond me, this is crazy, unbelievable, I don't understand it.

I should have stayed away from Alex.

I shouldn't have had sisters.

I shouldn't have been born.

I'm done.
