CHAPTER 9

"Oh, that. That's how my body is, it heals quickly" she replied.

"This quick, that is totally weird"

"Well that's how it's been ever since I knew myself" she shrugged.

"Your body is too soft then, that's the only explanation I can get"

"Suit yourself" she smiled at me and I chuckled.

Suddenly she looked up at me. "What?" I had to ask.

"Is it that we are starting to get along or what, have you accepted me to be your friend?" She asked with a puppy eyes, I couldn't resist but I had to reply a playful

"No".

"Yes"

"No" she hit my arm.

"Yeees"

"Definitely not" I replied with a light laugh but the laughter died down when I heard their voices.

"Alex are you really missing class" I heard Jake ask.

I exhaled in frustration while Andra swiftly turned to them.

"Oh wow, he's with his side chick" Aiden blabbed.

"So this is why you refused to talk to your wife yesterday yea?" Jeremy asked.

"I'm pretty sure you were with her yesterday and that's why you came home late" Jake added.

"But jokes apart, this one is a rare gem" Aiden stated, he slipped his hands into his pocket and walked closer to Andra, he touched her cheek and I boiled with anger, how dare he touch a girl without her permission. Andra slapped his hand off.

"Hey you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in this school, in fact my whole life" he flirted. So annoying. "I'm Aiden, what's your name?" He asked.

"Not your business" I replied and dragged Andra away from him.

"Come on Alex, you already have a wife, your parents has planned your life for you, so leave the poor boy to fend for himself" Jeremy stated.

"Like seriously, you can't marry two wives, who does asia and Africa, you wanna die" Jake backed up.

"Come on pretty, Alex had no say in your life, He's not even your boyfriend" Aiden tried to pull Andra away from me but I jerked his hand off.

"And I thought you were my sister's boyfriend" Andra fired at him.

"Come on, stop talking like a baby, your sister and I are just friends with benefits, its you I like" he stated.

"Well the feeling is not mutual, so leave me alone"

"You heard her, touch her again, you'll hate yourself" I warned him, and dragged Andra out.

Bunch of jobless fools, they are probably looking for a way to get out of school as usual.

"So I'm guessing that the first two are twins and the eldest" Andrea asked as well walk through the empty field.

"Yep"

"And the Aiden guy is your own twin"

"I can see you figured it out"

"Its pretty obvious though" she shrugged.

I laughed for no reason a she joined me.

"Oh my freaking gosh" we heard a fake high pitched voice, we looked up and saw Lindsay looking down at Andra in utmost awe.

"You are OK, how are you OK" she asked.

andra crossed her hand on her chest and watched her for a while.

"I could swear you almost died yesterday" she blasted.

"So you were one of them yea?" I fired at her. She popped her eyes when she looked up at me.

"Lexy its not what you think, believe me, I...I...but this is still baffling, how is it possible that her body is so smooth and beautiful again" she whined as she absent mindedly squashed the cup of smoothie in her hand and the whole content spilled on her white barbie dress, she gasped.

"That's how" Andra chuckled out and we both laugh.

To be sincere, I'm really loving this new whole, what do i call it... Whatever it is, I'll find out later but for now, I'll just call it a thing..... I'm loving this whole new thing with Andra, I feel very much alive, not everything sucks anymore to me like they seemed before, I mean the water fountain in the middle of the mini field, I used to hate it but now it looks so beautiful. I could get used to this, lol.

"Well I guess you are gonna be needing a bath room, we better excuse yo..... Oh my gosh, what's a water fountain doing in a field, I love it.... I love it..." She patted Lindsay on the back and ran off, Lindsay walked away as quick as possible.

I walked to the fountain.

"I used to hate that fountain" I said to her.

"Crazy you, why" she asked as she splashed water around.

"No reason"

"What changed then"

"Nothing"

"Aren't you funny" she let out a light laughter.

"yea, i guess.... Hey Andi come on, our free period is almost over, let's get back"

"We are not in the same class remember?" She asked as she tasted the water.

I know that but I really love her company.

"Yea, what do you know, you have an extra class in 3 minutes, you do not wanna mess with that teacher" I tried to convince her.

"Oh my gosh, why didn't you tell me earlier, let's go, I don't want any trouble" she ran to me, she grabbed my hand and off we went.

When we got into the hall, she slowed down a little cause it was almost empty and the few people still walking around were glaring at her.

"I need to get to my locker" she said.

OK, now I don't know how to tell her that I had lied. The next door is my class and I really need to tell her.

When we got to the door I stopped and pulled her back.

"Andra, this is me" I said as I pointed to the door.

"OK, well can you quickly take me to my locker so that get my books" she asked with a puppy eyes and I almost said OK.

"Andra actually, I lied about the extra class. Your free period ends in 10 minutes" I confessed with a chuckle.

"I know..."

"What"

"Alex, I'm not stupid, I already checked my schedule for the day, I just wanted to play your game even though I don't know why you tried to play me but it was fun." She stated with a light smile.

"I'm gonna do it again" I chuckled out.

"You won't succeed.... Won't you go to class again"

"Oh..haha....I'll see you later" I said to her, she nodded and walked out while i walked into the class.

ANDRA'S POV

I paced in the basketball arena with my hands crossed on my chest as I thought about my life, my sisters and worst of all being grounded for nothing.

If only there was something I could do to change everything in my life, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to do it.

If only I don't have sisters.

Wait... Thats it... If only I don't have sisters.

I fished out my phone from my back pocket, I dialed my mom's number and she picked at first ring.

"Hey Angel" she called me.

"Hey mum" I greeted.

"Honey what's wrong, you don't sound like your usual self" she asked.

"Why would I when you and your husband grounded for no reason" I fired at her.

This is not what I planned, but what the heck, let's talk about this one.

"Andra you did something wrong" she stated.

"Remind me again dear mother, what exactly did I do wrong" I asked as I stamped my feet on floor.

"Abdra you've started keeping boyfriends and....."

"And who told you that, huh? Did you see me with anyone, you just believed what your professional liars daughter told you without hearing my own side of the story, is that how parents do"

"Andra don't raise your voice at me" she warned.

"Don't tell me that mum, you know too well, you and dad know too well that those creatures I call sisters hates me to the bone and you believed their lies over me, I'm the one who should be disappointed"

"Andra can we not talk about this on phone, you are way over there at school and I'm at work, its not proper please"

"No we've already talked about it and we are not going over it again but just know that I'm angry with you." I Barked.

"OK, calm down, you can tell me now, who's the guy that dropped you". She asked quietly.

Is this woman kidding me.

"Well since you've decided to believe something else, stick to that, I'm not telling you a thing.... I called you to ask you something else."

She sighed deeply before asking. "What is it."

"Look I know this may sound crazy but I'm asking it anyway"

"Say it Andra"

"Fine... Is there any possible way I can become an only child" I let it out.

She didn't speak for a while and for a second I almost laughed at my stupid question but I'm too angry to laugh.

"Andra did you drink anything toxic" she finally asked in a concerned voice.

"What are you saying, of course not"

"Then why are you talking like an insane person.... You know what? There's a way for that to happen... Just call your sisters and come home, then you can open my legs and have all of you go back into my stomach, then you and your sisters will fight and then when you win, you restrict them from coming out, how about that" she concluded.

"You know a simple no would have been better right"

"No, I thought we were both going insane here, what changed"

"You are being annoying right now" i fired at her.

"We will talk at home Andrea" she said with a sigh.

"Whatever, just know that I'm still angry with you mum" I barked and hung up.

But seriously, why did i ask that..

"I was asking the same thing" I flinched when I heard a deep yet soft voice behind me, I swiftly turned and saw him standing like a king with his hands in his pocket.

Aiden.

"Don't you go to class" I asked him as I crossed my hands on my chest and stamped my feet on the floor.

"I was wondering the same thing about you"

"I have free period"

"Same here" he said as he walked closer.

"Not true, you and Alex are in the same class, and he's already in class"

"OK you caught me... But seriously girl, it seems like you have a lot of issues with your mother....and jeez were you really wishing to be an only child" he asked with a chuckled.

I scoffed and backed away from him.

"Its none of your business"

I felt him walk up to my back.

"Hey, I understand, your sisters are pretty bad towards you"

"Really, you understand" I turned to look at him.

He smiled a little, He's kinda cute, but not like Alex.

"Yea, I do" he shrugged.

"Then why are you acting the same way towards Alex?" I fired at him.

"What, Alex, I have nothing against Alex" he defended.

"Dude you highjacked his new car when you have better one than his" I pointed out.

"I didn't, I only borrowed"

"Really, you changed the physical appearance, the little I've seen, you And your elder ones talk to him like he doesn't matter in the world, now I know what he meant by we are two different people in the same world, cause his own brothers hates him just like my sisters hate Me" I barked and turned to leave.

"But we don't hate Alex, we just tease him a little" he said as he dragged me back.

"Yea right" I jerked my hand off his.

"OK, fine, I'll be nice to Alex from now on, just promise to be my friend" he asked and grabbed my hand again.

"Until then, no" I replied and slapped his hands off.

He grabbed it again. "Come on, please" he pleaded.

"What are you doing Aiden" I heard Titi's voice.

Crap.

Titi is definitely his girlfriend as I have realized.

I turned to the door and saw her glaring daggers at me. She, Lola, Jenny and Alex's other two brothers who were holding Jenny and Lola on the waists.

"So this is the vending machine you wanted to get cola from yea?" She asked as she walked closer to us.

"Listen Titi its not what you think" I tried to explain to her.

"Of course... I've definitely gone stupid that I can't realize that my boyfriend is hitting on another girl right.. Answer me Andra, I'm dumb now yea?" She fired.

"What have I ever done to you, why are you this wicked you cheap think, why are you bent on taking everything from us, why" she asked and for a moment I thought I saw tears slip down her eyes.

I couldn't help but ask "are you crying" I regretted it immediately when I heard a very deadly thunderous slap on my cheek.

"Dare ask me that question again, you are a dead being" I barely heard her cause the slap was ear deaffening.

"Tit, can you just calm down, its not what it looks like" Aiden tried to tell her.

I got furiously mad at him, he caused this, if only he had left me alone.

"I'll deal with you Andra, I'll so deal with you" Titi threatened before walking out.

"The guts you have" Lola backed up. As they walked out and Aiden joined them, calling Titi as he ran out.

Son of a bi....

Gosh I hate that guy right now.
