After I was done with everything we finally came home. Noel wasn’t at home yet. I sighed and looked at Ryan who was already looking at me.

“Let’s go out for dinner” Ryan kissed my forehead and grabbed me from my waist. I nodded at him and smiled.

“Julianna. What did he say?” I knew what he was asking about but how am I going to answer his question? How can I tell him that his next stage is suicide? My heart tightened as I remembered the doctor's words.

“Nothing special. Just asked me to give you medicine at a time” I smiled and kissed his cheek. He watched me for a while and didn’t say anything, just nodded at me and I knew he didn’t believe me.

“Ryan, just don’t think about it okay? Everything will be fine” I didn’t want him to doubt himself and overthink.

“Julianna, don’t leave me okay?” With that, he buried his face against my neck. My throat became dry because of his words. I wanted to cry but I forced my tears back.

“I won’t leave” I stroked his hair and kissed his head as I spoke. Then he lifted his head and looked at me with a smile.

“I bought something for you” With that he took something out of his pocket and turned me. Then I felt something cold against my neck and I looked at it and saw a necklace. It was the same flower as my ring but the petals were small red diamonds.

“Ryan you don’t have to. It’s already enough” I said as he kissed my neck. Ryan again turned me to face him and kissed my forehead.

“Don’t ever take these off. No matter what, keep it with you.” I nodded at him and smiled.

“I have to go to the office now Julianna. Dad will take Noel in a while. Be ready at six-thirty in the evening I’m coming to get you both” I bit my lower lip and nodded but deep inside of me I didn’t want him to go. Ryan kissed my forehead as he turned to leave.

“Ryan is safe” I grabbed his arm quickly and kissed his cheek as I heard him chuckle.

“Of course, your husband will always be safe for you” He playfully winked at me and entered the elevator. I smiled because of what he said.

I went into the room and took off my clothes and wore one of Ryan’s shirts because it was just comfortable to wear his clothes. Then I cleaned Noel’s room and found so many chocolate covers and chips covers. This boy… Then I went into the living room and cleaned it and found so many cigarette butts under the sofa. My heart shook violently as I saw how many of them were there. Did Ryan? I took a deep breath and finished cleaning quickly as I entered the room Ryan and I stayed in before. I opened his closet and checked and I successfully found more than four cigarette packets and some of them are empty. When did he use these things?

My heart was covered with fury and I threw all of them into the rubbish bin. I don’t know if he’s already sick because of smoking.

“Mommy... I’m home” I heard Noel’s voice and I quickly went out of the room and saw Noel was smiling at me.

“Where’s grandpa?” I asked him because I didn’t see Ryan’s dad with Noel.

“Grandpa went to the office because dad called him.” I nodded at him and picked him up as he looked at me with a big bright smile. So cute.

“Mommy, did daddy give this? So pretty” Noel spoke while touching my necklace.

“Yeah, daddy gave it” I smiled at him as he hugged my neck so tightly.

“Daddy has a shop that makes color stones mommy” I smiled because of what he said the word color stones. Puff. And of course, his daddy has everything.

“Those colored stones are called diamonds, baby. Don’t say color stones” I kissed his head and took him into his room and showered him. After changing him into clothes I took him into the kitchen.

“What do you want to eat baby? Did you have lunch with grandpa?” I asked him and he quickly nodded his head.

“I ate pizza” I watched him as he said that. He was still licking his lips. Oh my god, this boy.

“Mommy will make cookies for you okay?” I kissed his forehead and put him on the countertop.

“Yah mommy.” With that, I made chocolate cookies for him. After I was done I gave cookies to Noel and took him into the living room as I placed him on the sofa.

“Baby, daddy said we’re going out for dinner. Now it’s five-thirty in the evening so watch cartoons till six and we’ll get ready.” I turned on the T.V and kissed his cheek. He took a mouth full cookie and smiled at me. Puff his teeth.

“I’ll take a shower and come baby” With that, I went into the room and entered the bathroom as I grabbed a shower. Then I wore a bathrobe and came out of the room. I went to Noel and found he was still watching cartoons while laughing loudly. I sighed and went into the room and changed into clothes.

“Mommy. It’s six now” I heard Noel’s voice as soon as I was done wearing my clothes. What a good boy he really knows how to listen to his parents.

“Alright, let’s get you ready” I picked him up and went into his room. I changed him into a cute cat hoodie and denim shorts. Urghh so cute.

“Mommy is daddy sick?” What? I looked at Noel’s face and found he was sad and worried. How could his daddy even be sick?

“No baby. Why did you ask that?” I asked him while stroking his hair.

“Mommy asked him to go to the hospital” My heart tightened. Did he hear that? No... his daddy is not sick.

“No baby it was because daddy said he has a friend in the hospital that’s why” I didn’t want to lie to my son but I can’t tell him what's wrong with his daddy.

“Oh..” Noel nodded at me and smiled. I sighed in relief because I won’t let this boy know anything and he doesn’t even know about those things.

“Daddy... You’re back” Noel quickly ran towards the door of his room and I looked back and saw Ryan who just lifted his son up. I looked at him and smiled as he came to me and kissed my forehead.

“Let’s go. We have to go somewhere too” Somewhere?

“Where?” I asked him and he shook his head with a smile. Urghh... Doesn’t he want to tell me? I watched his smile for a while and sighed. It’s okay as long as he’s happy. Why am I like this? I bit my lower lip and looked at Ryan’s handsome face as we got into the car.

My heart was beating so fast because of this man. He really treated me badly when we first met and he even raped me and hurt me but he’s not the same person who hurt me. He was just so gentle and caring so how am I going to stay without falling in love with this man? Anyways he’s already my husband. I even gave birth to his child so there’s no way for me to leave him and our son. I thought it was all because of him that the things happened four years ago but it wasn’t his fault. He never knew. I quickly looked away from him because I didn’t want to cry like a child always. I have no idea about what’s happening to me but I could clearly feel that my heart already belongs to him. I love him.
