‘Come to the office I have something important to tell you I looked at my phone and read the message Chris has sent me. I came home with Julianna and asked her to wait for me to go to dinner. Then I came to the office and saw Chris was already there.

“What’s up?” I asked him as I sat on the sofa. He watched me for a while and sighed.

“It’s her. Marianna. After she and Noah get kidnapped, she has escaped from the men that kidnapped her and she has run through the road to meet someone and call home but she was hit by a car while she was running so lost her memories about her past so they have given both of them to a poor couple who didn’t have kids.”

“I still couldn’t find who did it but I have sent my men to track one person and after we caught him we can know the truth.”

“Anyways I found those things from an old woman she said Julianna had two phone numbers with her. It’s been so many years but she said she couldn’t forget the face of that little girl and the way she was hit by a car” Chris finished what he was saying with a deep sigh. My heart was hurting because of what happened to her. Her whole childhood turned into misery because of that.

“Did you get those two numbers from her?” I asked him as he nodded and took a piece of paper. He gave the paper to me and I found it was covered with blood and only one number could be seen but only five numbers could be seen. Another one disappeared because of blood. 10998. Why is it so familiar? 1-0-9-9-8….

No... it’s impossible, right? She hated me when she was a kid but how come it’s my old phone number? My heart shook violently because she was going to call me that day? Did she just remember my number? Maybe the other number is Mark’s one. I’m not fucking mistaken it was my phone number’s last five digits.

“What is it, Ryan?” Chris asked me as he sat beside me.

“Do you remember my old phone number before we went to the military camp?” I asked him because he was the one who saved everyone’s numbers and kept them with him. He always said everything will be valued in the future.

“Yeah but I don’t have it now. I’ll let you know it when I’m home” Chris said as he took the paper from my hand.

“Isn’t it, my old phone number’s last five digits?” I leaned against the sofa and asked him. He immediately looked at me and again looked at the paper.

“I think but I only remember these 9-9-8. I’ll tell you” I nodded at him and closed my eyes.

“How come she remembered your number? Didn’t she always scold you and said that she hates you?” I smiled because of what he said. Of course, she hated me because I ate her favorite food every day and the other thing was I entered her room while she was changing her clothes without knocking on the door. Urgghh. I saw nothing but her shoulders and a few inches above her knees but yet she hit me that day.

“I also don’t know that” I looked at Chris and spoke with a smile as I heard him chuckle.

“Maybe you were her childhood crush” Chris laughed while taking out his cigarette box. Childhood crush? I doubt that... I grabbed one from the box and lit it up as I placed it between my lips.

“Anyways you married the young lady of the Holland family. Wait... Ryan, There was an engagement announced between two families right? So it was Marianna and you. Fuck..” Chris shouted as he looked at me and I simply nodded at him. Of course because of the friendship between our families Marianna was proposed to me because she was the only girl in their family.

“What if Julianna remembered everything and Mark found her?” I wasn’t scared of Julianna regaining her memories but I was scared to face what would happen if Mark found his sister.

“She’s my wife and there’s no way I would let go of my wife. She’s already a member of the Winston family so Mark won’t be able to do much about it. Just simply she’s mine. A wife belongs to her husband and not to her brother” I smirked at Chris and spoke as he nodded at me with a chuckle.

“So that’s why you married her all of a sudden. Truth cannot be hidden forever. Mark will find the truth soon” He was correct, Mark failed to find his brother and sister for years but he still has not given up yet.

“It was not the only reason. I wanted to marry her from the first day I saw her and from the first day I slept with her but after finding the truth I decided to marry her as soon as possible and give her status as my wife and mother of my son.” I threw the cigarette butt and said because I was the reason she lost every valuable thing, even her virginity.

“She deserves more than this Chris. Look at the life she spent while she was the young lady of the Holland family” If Noah and Julianna were with their true family Noah would never die and Julianna would never have to be a surrogate.

“What did you do to Julianna’s friend?” I asked him as he looked at me and sighed.

“Urghh. She’s complicated. I asked her why she lives in a cheap and unsafe place. She just simply said she doesn’t have money and she doesn’t sleep with men to find glory” Pufft. She has said about him.

“She has said the truth. You sleep with women and give them glory. Eww, Chris. Stop that damn lifestyle” I looked at him with disgust and found he was pressing his lips to a straight line.

“I haven’t slept with women, Ryan. It was always a blowjob. Fuck.. It feels disgusting to touch other women after I see her but I want to sleep with her” Chris looked at me with a serious look. What the hell? Only blowjob? What the fuck was that?

“Only that? You haven’t done that thing?” I asked him with a shocked voice because I was shocked. Every man and woman in this city knows Chris’s character but what the fuck?

“Has anyone seen me sleeping with a woman or waking up in the same bed? At least which man has seen me public with a woman or a woman in my house? That’s it, Ryan. Women like them don’t deserve to have sex with me. I don’t want to sleep with a woman who just simply takes off her clothes in front of a man without shame. I can tell a woman’s type when I see her face. I have seen so many of them, Ryan. Their eyes sparkled when they saw money but not like Amelia. Just look at her… urghh... She’s just…. Annoying'' I sighed and nodded at him.

“It was the same thing that happened to me after touching Julianna. No woman can match her” I’m glad because finally, Chris is going to get rid of the life he lived.

“How am I going to make her love me? Urghh. She just simply ignored me. She didn’t even say thank you when I gave her a ride” I laughed as he said that.

“Look what has happened to Chris Winston. She was the first woman you gave a ride, am I right?” I teased him as his face grew dark. Of course, I was right because he had his standards when it comes to women. Just sex and nothing more but it’s not sex now just blowjob and nothing more. Then I remembered how beautiful Julianna was today. Urghh... So fucking gorgeous. Her smile is something I loved in my life. Suddenly I remembered the face she had when she came out after talking to the doctor. I felt she was looking at me and she was thinking about something. I wanted to know it but she just simply hid it with a smile. I know it was about me and she’s worried. I sighed as I grabbed my phone out and made a call.

“Arrange the mansion I’m coming to tonight” There’s no point in staying in the apartment. No garden and there’s no fresh air, Noel can’t even play freely.
