ANDREW POV

I don’t know how she managed to get here but I won’t sit back and watch her get away with anything funny she tries to pull on me.

I kept staring furiously at her as she strolled towards us with a grin on her bitchy face.

“We meet again little brother.” She said with a devilish smile.

“If it wasn’t because of my wife, I would have shown you the beast you turned me into.” I gritted my teeth in anger as Tia kept smoothing my arm to calm me down.

“Interesting. I hope you know the same applies to you on how you humiliated me the last time. I promise you little brother, I'll hunt you down with everything I have and as for you little witch. You have no idea what I’ll do to you for standing up to me.” She giggled pointing at Tia before walking away.

As long as Tia is with me, I won’t let her harm her in any way. I will make sure I protect her even if it’s the last thing I do.

I took a look at her as her face held a lot of emotions I can’t say.

“You don’t have to worry about her. I won’t let her get anywhere close to you to even think of harming you.” I assured

“Okay.” She responded in a slow tone, holding on to me tightly.

I felt happy seeing how tightly she held onto me. I really wish we had gotten this close earlier, it would have been really great because we look perfectly good together.

“Come let me show you to some of my business partners.” I stated as we headed inside the mall for the party.

After introducing her as my wife to some of my business partners, the two business tycoons who invited us to the party, we were both standing together without saying any word to each other.

I really do want to ask her why she only used such an amount of money when she could have used as much as she wanted. I want to hear the reason behind her smart way of spending to really make me really believe my conscience.

“Erhm… May I know why you decided to use such a small amount of money for the shopping when you could use a lot more? Can you tell me why you did that?”

“I do feel it was really too much since I’m not too used to spending extravagantly. I like my things simple and natural but your mom insisted I dress this way which is really not my thing.” She chuckled lightly but when she saw me staring at her she stopped.

“I’m sorry if I spoke way out of line.” She added.

“It’s fine. You didn’t say anything bad at all. I’m just surprised, that's all.” I explained, clearing my throat.

She has proved me wrong once more. She’s nothing like Naomi or any other woman I have come across. She’s totally different in everything and that’s what I really want in a woman.

TIA POV

Andrew left not quite long to talk with one of his business clients leaving me all alone as I kept staring around until my eyes came in contact with Katie’s own.

“Babe? What are you doing here?” She called out in a whispering tone and rushed towards me.

“It’s so good to see you here, Katie.” I uttered as we both hugged each other.

“Don’t tell me you came here with Andrew?” She asked, searching around to see if Andrew was close.

“I did, Katie and how did you get invited to such an occasion?”

“Well, my crush brought me here as his date.”

“Wait, you mean, Mike?” I asked in bewilderment.

“Yeah babe but why are you this surprised like you don’t know I have a crush on him?” She chuckled.

“I didn’t mean it that way. I’m just shocked you both turned up as well. Where is he right now?” I asked, trying to assure myself nothing will turn out between Andrew and Mike again.

“He went to greet some of his clients. I’m sure he’s going to show up anytime soon.”

“Oh, okay then.” I replied as we changed the topic into something else.

Few minutes passed as there was no sign of Andrew or Mike so we kept discussing some random stuff just to pass time.

“Don’t you think it will be good dancing with the men?” She asked.

“I guess I showed up at the perfect moment to have a dance with one of the most beautiful ladies in this party.” We heard Mike say behind us as Katie and I turned around to see him smiling brightly.

“I’m glad you showed up and also I really apologize on behalf of Andrew.”

“It’s alright Tia. I’m over it already.”

“Thanks.”

“But on a condition.”

What condition can it be? I just hope it’s not something Andrew will get furious about and lose his cool.

“What condition?” I stuttered.

“Can I have a dance with you?” He dropped the question as I felt my throat become totally dry.

The condition didn’t really sit well with me. What will Andrew do when he sees us dancing? I really can’t tell what he will do to Mike or even me. I need to prevent him from facing another problem with Andrew. I seriously can’t accept his condition.

“I don’t think that’s really a good idea.”

“I won’t take that. You have to accept it or else I won’t accept your apology on behalf of your husband.” He stated.

“Come on babe. It’s just a dance. I really don’t have a problem with it so just accept it.” Katie added.

“What’s your call?” He winked at me.

“Okay. I will dance with you but just for a short while.”

“That’s fine by me. May I have this dance, my lady?” He said, offering his hand for me to take.

“Go on babe. Don’t spoil the moment, please.” Katie added with a smile.

I really hope Andrew won’t create a scene if he sees us together because I won’t be able to bear it.

After debating on it, I finally placed my hand on his as we walked towards the dance floor to join some of the people dancing.

It didn't take up to five minutes when we heard a loud voice calling out to Mike’s name as we turned around to see Andrew looking like a hungry lion that’s ready to devour its prey.

Oh god, this isn’t really happening! What’s going to happen right now?
