TIA POV

I was expecting the worst from Andrew but he just pulled me away from Mike.

“I think I will take it from here.” He gritted his teeth.

“I thought you left without her, that's why I thought of making her mood bright, you know?” Mike uttered with a smirk.

“Mind your words Mike. Don’t make me lose my cool.” Andrew spat with anger.

I have to do something about it before they create a much bigger scene.

“Let go of it, Andrew, please.”

“You should have thought about my feelings when you agreed to dance with him just to ruin things for me.” He whispered, pulling me closer to his body.

“I didn’t mean to ruin things for you in any way. I’m sorry.” I apologized and placed my hand on his chest, smoothing them as the attention of all other guests was still on us.

“Please, let's not ruin things since everyone is watching.” I added as his face became calm.

He glared at Mike who kept smiling as Katie walked up to us.

“That’s enough, let go Mike.” Katie said and pulled Mike away as everyone continued with their doing.

“Let's dance.” Andrew uttered suddenly and wrapped his arm around my waist as I felt a sharp spark all over my body.

“Hmmm…” I hummed as I placed my hand around his neck.

It feels really great to be around him this way. I just wish we can remain this way for a long while. It really wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Mike’s doing.

MRS WALTON POV

I was hurt by Andrew’s words but seeing him that jealous about Tia made me extremely happy as a mother for trying to unite her son and her daughter-in-law.

I know sooner or later he will open up his feelings for Tia who I’m sure feels the same way for him too.

Once that’s done, the real chemistry will begin in their marriage.

I found my way inside the mansion and found my husband seated in the living room with his laptop.

“My love, why are you up at this time?” I asked, checking my wristwatch to see it was close to eight.

“I was waiting for you, my queen. How was the outing with Tia?”

“It went great and smooth.” I smiled, walking over to join him on the sofa.

“Nice. Have they left for the party as well?”

“Yes. Andrew was a bit late, that's why I had to wait up with Tia to get her ready for the party.”

“Hmmmm…” He hummed and focused on his laptop.

“I’m so exhausted right now, my love. I really need a shower to feel a bit better.”

“That will be good but before you go do that, I want to have a serious talk with you.”

“Serious talk, you say my love. I hope it isn’t about your health?” I inquired with concern and moved closer to him as he placed his laptop stool beside him before staring deeply into my eyes.

“Why are you staring at me that way, my love? Did I do something bad?”

I really can’t say what’s on his mind but from his looks I can tell the matter is really serious.

“Don’t you think there’s something you’re not telling me?” He inquired which made my body become cold and stiff.

This is it! I think he has found out about Andrew and Tia’s relationship. Oh, my lord! I never want him to find out this way.

“I can explain myself, my love. It’s not what you’re thinking it is.”

“Then tell me when did you plan to let me know?”

“Believe me, my love I had to do it for your sake. You know I would never hide anything from you. I just couldn’t sit back and watch you helplessly on the sick bed.”

“What are you saying, my queen?”

“Please, let me finish first so you can do whatever you want to do to me. I had no choice, that's why I had to arrange a commercial marriage for Andrew knowing how much you wanted him to settle down and since the doctor said there's a high possibility you will regain consciousness.”

“You did what? I was just going to ask why you and Mike are interfering in Tia and Andrew’s married life but I guess I was wrong. I can’t believe you could do such a thing and hide it for all these while from me.”

Why did I act too forward when I could have waited and listened to what he had to say? I really hope he understands I didn’t entirely do it for my selfish interest but for his own safety.

“I’m so sorry, my love. I couldn’t watch you that way, that's why I did what I had to do.” I pleaded, as the tears I was holding back dropped freely down my cheeks.

“Why didn’t you care to tell me about it until now you had to spill it out yourself?”

“I thought it would endanger your health, that’s why I couldn’t bring myself to you. And it’s the reason why Mike and I want to bring them together. I’m so sorry, sweetheart.”

“Come here, my queen. You know I can’t bear to see you this way. I’m sorry for yelling and making you cry. I promise I won’t do that ever again and also I forgive you.” He uttered, embracing me.

“I promise I won’t hide anything away from you.” I uttered as we pulled away from the hug.

“That’s okay, my queen. You did the right thing after all and I’m proud to call you my wife.” He smiled and crushed his lip with mine.

ANDREW POV

I kept observing Mike’s movement until I saw him heading towards the restroom direction.

Now is my chance to make him understand when I mean stay away from my wife, I am serious about it.

“Excuse me for a minute. I’ll be right back shortly and also stay right here.” I cautioned her before strolling towards the restroom.

I met two men who walked out from the restroom as I observed if someone was watching me before making my way in and shutting the door behind me.

“Hey Mikey! Why don’t you come out and finish our unsettled business?” I yelled knowing we are only the ones inside.

“I thought as much too. You’re really a desperate man who can’t let go of that matter easily.” He yelled back with a sarcastic chuckle.

“Get the fuck out and come face me.”

“Take a pill, dude. I’ll be out in a second and you can do whatever you want with me. After all, I did all that just to get you.” He burst out laughing as he walked out from one of the doors as I charged at him with a punch to his jaw.

“Is that all you got, buddy? I want you to punch me harder. Do you know what makes your wife so special that I got so attracted to her? It’s because she’s so sweet and simple who thinks her husband will find a soft spot for her in his heart but you’re just too stupid to let go of the past and embrace the present.”

“Shut the fuck up!” I hissed and punched him in the nose and held him by the collar.

“That’s more like it, Andrew. Your heart is as cold as a stone and soon enough you will lose Tia to someone worthy of her.”

“Not a single word from you, Mikey or else I will hit you again. She’s my wife and will never be…”

“Spare me the long talk, blood. She can be with anyone if you don’t act fast. Who knows if fate makes us end up together?”

“Shut the fuck up.” I growled and hit him harder which sent him to the floor.

“She’s mine and mine alone. Get that into your fucking head and stay away from her no matter what.”
