TIA POV
I got dressed in a blue pria shirt short dress with a pair of black suede portofino heels and a black clutch bag to fit the dressing.
I picked a black leather jacket which stopped below my knees with a blue scarf.
I made sure my hair was packed in a ponytail with a light makeup done on my face before stepping out of my room.
I don’t know if I should ask one of the chauffeurs to drive me to the company but what if Andrew had made it clear to them not to take me anywhere with his cars.
I quickly took the thought off my mind and walked down the stairs before heading to the dining table for breakfast.
“Good morning ma’am.” Two of the maids dishing out the meals on the table uttered.
“Good morning.” I replied and took a seat.
“We made sandwiches, bacon and egg and pancakes with orange juice.” The short one among them explained.
“I don’t really know what to eat but I think the sandwich will be good.”
“Okay ma’am.” She responded and served me the sandwich and poured the cold orange juice in a cup.
“Do you need anything else, ma’am?” She asked.
“No, that will be all. Thanks.” I answered with a smile as they both bowed their heads and left.
After eating to my satisfaction, I called the maids to clear the table before grabbing my bag and heading outside.
I walked over to the car garage and found some bodyguards discussing but the moment they saw they all stood up and greeted me.
“Are you going somewhere ma’am?” The one I recognized who helped me the first time I stepped into the mansion asked.
“Yes and I want someone to take me there.”
“Alright ma’am. I’ll call one of the chauffeurs so we can all go together.”
“I just need a driver to take me there. You guys don’t have to come with me.”
“I’m sorry ma’am but sir gave a strict order to always have one or two bodyguards as backup if anything happens.”
“He really said that?” I inquired, a bit surprised.
“Yes ma’am. That’s the rules.”
“Okay.” I mouthed as he instructed one of his colleagues to call one of the chauffeurs and within a few minutes the bodyguard and a man who is of middle age showed up.
“Good morning ma’am.” He greeted me.
“Good morning.” I responded with a smile.
“Mr Stan, ma’am wants to go somewhere. Please, get the car ready.” The bodyguard said.
“Okay Finn.” The chauffeur responded by calling the bodyguard who helped me by his name.
In less than five minutes, the chauffeur pulled the car to a stop in front of me as Finn opened the car for me to get in.
The moment I got in, he followed in the passage seat with the chauffeur as we drove out of the mansion.
After thirty minutes we arrived at my dad’s company as Finn rushed out to open the door for me.
I stepped out of the car and walked inside the company with him trailing behind.
The moment I stepped inside, the staff kept greeting and staring at my new looks in admiration as I walked over to the elevator to my office.
None of them are aware I'm married, which was done in a simple way. I really don’t like too much attention on me most especially when it has to involve many people.
We arrived at my office floor and found Ella on her desk who was shocked to see me.
“Ma’am, you’re back from the business trip?” She asked, rushing towards me with a warm smile.
“Business trip? Who told you that?” I inquired.
“Your dad informed us that you got a contract with the Walton Group of Enterprise.”
Dad really covered it up well. He also doesn’t like to go public, that's why he’s so simple.
“That’s right Ella. The contract is a success.”
“I’m so happy right now. Our company is already gaining public attention and other companies are even sending business deals to us.”
“That’s great news. How have you been managing the company?”
“I did the best I could with your dad’s help.” She explained with a smile.
“Nice.” I smiled as she looked up to see Finn behind me.
“I know what you’re thinking. He’s my bodyguard.” I told her as she kept staring at him.
“Hello!” She uttered, with a handshake.
“Hello ma’am.” He replied and shook hands with her as she kept smiling nonstop.
I can really smell a love chemistry soon because seeing how they kept staring at each other shows they really like each other.
I really wish this was how Andrew pictured me in the first place. I wouldn’t be feeling this way in this marriage.
ANDREW POV
The business meeting was already over and I wasn’t planning on returning back to the states but due to an urgent contract deal I have to take care of, I will have to go back.
I really don’t want to stay anywhere close to Tia because she might get to bewitch me with her spells. I think it best I stay at my other mansion and make sure she doesn’t get to know where I am. She can stay in the other one alone.
I know mom must have found out I left for a week without telling Tia of my whereabouts or even thinking of spending our wedding night as a couple.
I don’t regard her as my wife then why will I think of spending the night with her. There’s possibly no way I will fall for her charms no matter how she tries.
Few hours later we arrived in the states as I asked the driver to head straight to my penthouse which I hardly visit but now I will have to be living there for the meantime just to avoid a woman.
I really don’t know what to say ever since Tia came into my life. She just keeps bringing the things I dislike back with her presence.
The betrayal of Naomi and the evil things she did to my dad and mom and to me especially for stealing all the things that belong to me and the truth she made me believe about ladies.
I don’t know why Tia just seems different. Her attitude and nature is very visible unlike that of Naomi, Susan and other ladies I have come across.
