TIA POV

I was shocked when I arrived at the mansion in the evening and found three expensive cars in the parking space which belonged to ma'am Sarah. I guess she has been waiting for me to show up.

I'd informed her of my parents request to see her and discuss the marriage which she agreed to without complaint. I just pray they get to like each other and get together.

I moved towards the door and heard laughter coming from the living room which made me feel so pleased they finally got to know one another.

With a smile on my face, I stepped inside and saw them on the sofa engaged in discussion.

"Good evening everyone!"

"Oh darling, we were just talking about you." Ma'am Sarah beamed with a smile gesturing to me to come take a seat next to her.

"Good evening sunshine."

"Honey, Sarah is really sweet and kind. I'm so happy you found yourself a kind mother-in-law." Mom said.

“So, how was the office?” Dad asked.

“It’s still in the same mess I got it in.”

“You don’t have to feel bad about it and it’s not your fault after all.”

“Yeah, we’re already over it.” Mom assured me.

“Come over it darling. I’m sure you will rebuild the company back to a better position.” Ma’am Sarah added.

“Yeah, I believe it.” I responded with a smile as ma’am held on to my hands affectionately.

“So darling, your parents and I were discussing your wedding with my son.” She beamed radiantly.

“Yes, honey. We already gave our consent for your marriage.” Mom revealed with a smile.

“Sarah is really a good person who will love you and cherish you just like the way we did.” Dad added.

“I know dad. She had always cherished me as her own ever since we met. Thank you so much for coming into my life.”

“You’re welcome darling. I’m also glad to have come across you.” She replied as I embraced her tightly.

I just hope and pray my soon to be husband won’t be the opposite of her.

NIGHT

ANDREW POV

I was going through some files in my bedroom when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I uttered, not minding to look who it was clearly focused on the files.

"Hey darling." I heard mom utter.

"Mom, why are you up? You should be sleeping by now?" I asked, dropping the files to listen to what she has to say.

"I couldn't sleep because I needed to discuss something with you." She replied and joined me on the bed.

"What is it?"

"It's about the lady you're getting married to."

"And what about her?" I asked in annoyance even though I don’t know the lady and don’t care to meet with her.

"I want you to join hands with her dad's company. You see, their company is at the peak of falling and we really need to help them since we're going to be families."

"This is really nice. She's a gold digger like all other ladies. I’d told you they're all the same and will never change but you would never listen to me.”

"It's not what you really think, honey. She's really a nice and sweet girl and isn't like any other lady out there, trust me darling. She's just in a bad situation and we have to help her since

"Why should I do that mom?"

"Please, son. Do it for your dad's sake even if you don't want to do it for my sake."

"I'm only agreeing to do it because of dad's health condition."

"Thank you my sweet baby. You're a darling, what would I have done without you?"

"Enough with the praising, mom. Please, go to bed. I still have a lot to work on."

"Okay honey. Sweet dreams." She pecked me on the cheek before walking out.

I just pray mom isn't making another mistake of bringing another woman who almost ruined our lives.

MORNING

TIA POV

I left early for the company to carry out some important work since Ella was on leave today.

There's really a lot of work to be done and I was yet to round up with one file when suddenly a knock came on the door.

I urged the person in as it turned out to be Rachael, the receptionist.

"There's someone here to see you, ma'am." She announced.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"It’s a man who claims he was sent by Mr Walton."

"Please send him in immediately." I instructed.

"Okay ma'am." She replied and left as I kept wondering what my soon to be husband had sent for me.

After a short while, I heard a knock and urged him in as he stepped in with a radiant smile on his face and a document in his hand.

“Good morning ma’am.”

“Good morning Mr Frank.”

“Please, just call me Frank, ma’am.”

“You can call me Tia as well. It really sounds awkward coming from a man older than me.”

“I’m sorry but it’s my policy since you’ll be the boss’ wife.”

“It’s alright then. So, what brings you here?”

“Mr Walton sent me here to give you this document to go through and sign.” He said, handing the document to me.

“Please, take a seat. What is it all about?”

“It’s a contract offer for your company, ma’am.”

“But how is he aware of my company’s situation?” I asked, confused.

“Mrs Walton must have informed him.”

“You mean ma’am Sarah?” I stammered.

“Yes ma’am. Please, go through it and if you’re pleased with it then you can go ahead and sign it.”

This is really too much. I can’t believe she could do this amazing thing for me. She’s really an angel sent to help me.

“Oh, my God!” I exclaimed.

“Is everything alright ma’am?” He asked.

“Is this really a contract?”

“Yes ma’am. Is anything wrong with it?”

“The signing of the deal is $50 million.” I stuttered, my eyes still fixed on the document.

“Yes ma’am. Everything written in the contract is correct and you shouldn’t be bothered by anything. There’s more to come as well.”

“There’s more?”

“Yes ma’am. Mr Walton will be collaborating with your company and you will be part of his board of directors of the Walton group of enterprise and every other enterprise related to him.”

The moment he said the last part, my jaw dropped as I kept staring at him like a total lunatic.
