Chapter 67: Chapter 67
CHAPTER 67
CHRISTIAN
“What’s up man.” Christian greeted Daniel, his friend, who was standing at the counter, working.
He had decided to visit the supermarket today, his former workplace actually to come and check on his best friend, and also see how the affairs of the place was going.
From what he had seen when coming in, everything was in standard order, and Christian smiled assuredly.
He knew his friend would handle the place well, and as it was he was definitely not disappointing.
“Boy, you came today. Man, I’ve missed you so much.” Daniel said to him, looking over the counter, and dropping what he was doing, he jumped over and pulled Christian into a manly hug.
“Fuck! You’re squeezing me.” Christian chuckled, but well Daniel didn’t stop hugging him at all.
“Brother I missed you.”
Christian could note the worry tone in his friend’s voice, and guilt squeezed him a bit.
These days, he was so busy, with packing, with working hard at his laboring company to save more money, and still doing other little things that he had forgotten about his best friend and brother.
For a moment he imagined if he got to Seattle, with Sara and his family was this how he was going to forget his friend?
Was he going to forget the friends turned family he had made here? He asked himself.
No he wouldn’t, no he just couldn’t.
“Well, I’m here now Daniel, stop acting like a girl.” Christian scoffed, and disentangling himself from the embrace, Daniel chuckled hardly.
“What’s up though. You’ve just been scarce, how have you been?” Daniel asked him, as they walked over to a quiet place to sit.
“I’ve been busy you know…” Christian replied, and proceeded to tell him about his preparations, along with the good news that Sara could now follow him to Seattle.
He alongside his mother just needed to sign some paperwork’s, do some court swearing and then she would be good to go.
“That’s some good news man, congratulations.” Daniel fist bumped him in response with a side smile.
“Yeah it is. You have no idea, how happy I am Daniel. This is just what I want and more.” He replied, looking straight ahead, into the empty space, as his wandering thoughts crept back in his head.
He could already imagine their everyday life.
He would go to work in the mornings, and Sara would go to school with his siblings.
His mom would get a stable job too maybe, and left alone to Christian, he already knew he was going to take care of his family so much.
His salary at the new place he was going at, was ten times what he earned in all his combined jobs here, and it was more than enough to take care of his loved ones.
Soon, Sara would be done with high school, and be would have enough money to sponsor her to the university, college rather and she would do well and make him proud.
Then after that, he would wife her finally, a d she would birth his beautiful kids.
Probably by then, he would have become a billionaire, and he would spoil her so much with gifts, for being there for him when he had nothing at a…
“Speaking of Sara, you’ve heard from Ariel since?” Daniel asked, interrupting Christian’s thoughts.
Facing his friend, and raising his eyebrows, Christian laughed and replied, “Am I supposed to be asking you that, or vice versa? Is she not working in the supermarket anymore”
“She hasn’t come to work for the past few days, and I thought you might have a clue, considering the fact that you go to their shelter and all.”
Christian tolled his eyes and scoffed, “And if I go to the shelter, how am I supposed to check in Ariel for you huh? Don’t you call her?” He asked and his friend shrugging his shoulders said, “Well, my phone hot spoilt some days ago, and I don’t really want to repair it. I want to get a new one.”
“That’s cool then. So for over a week you haven’t seen the love of your life?” Christian asked sarcastically, and now it was Daniel’s turn to roll his eyes. “Don’t mock me…”
“Hello there.” A voice interrupted behind him, while Christian could see Daniel’s eyes shooting daggers, and then he had a mischievous smile as he stood up immediately.
“We were just talking about you, and…” Daniel started to say but Christian tuned him out, curious to know what was happening.
Turning over to check who was there, Christian saw Ariel standing with a smile, and wanting to ask about Sara, she appeared out of nowhere, and stood besides her looking at him shyly.
Oh well… He smiled widely at her, and waving at Ariel not even hearing what she was saying to him, Christian walked over to Sara and took her in a warm embrace.
“My love…”

SARA
“…I fucking missed you Sara.”
Christian was hugging her so tightly, she almost broke in his arms, but no matter how tight his hug was, she reveled in the pleasure of being so intimate with him.
She missed him so much too, and that’s why she had followed Ariel to the supermarket wanting to get something to take to his home, and meet him there.
She had no idea he would be at the supermarket too, and well it just saved her the stress, of walking down the road to his house.
“I missed you so much too. That’s why I came to the supermarket…” She started to say, but he cut her off with a sudden chaste kiss on her lips.
“Ewww, you guys get a room already…” Sara heard Ariel mock, but she had no care because she placed her hands around Christian’s neck and deepened the kiss.
“Ewww…” Daniel said, but Sara had no shame at all, and she smirked her lips still on Christian’s and kissing him deeply.
There was no one in the supermarket, and where they where was one of the secluded parts so they had time to do whatever they wanted and as for privacy, well Daniel and Ariel where currently disrupting that.
Christian unlocked his lips from hers, and kissing her tenderly on the forehead, he smiled, looking down at her and then said, “You were saying something sweet. You came to the supermarket to do what? Meet me? I would not have been here you know that right?” He questioned and she rolled her eyes at him.
Removing her hands from his neck, and folding them under her bosoms…
She watched as Christian’s eyes went there – went to her breasts actually – and she elbowed him, making him look back up at her.
“I was going to get some stuffs for you. And then come over to your house, so we can have some time to ourselves.”
Christian leaned down, and his eyes turning hot, smoldering her with it he asked, with a wink, “Should we go home now? I’m the only one at home, and we’ll, we can have some personal time just like you said and…”
“Nothing like that.” Ariel cut in from behind, and Christian cursed, making her chuckle shyly.
She knew how much he hated interruptions, of any kind.
“What the fuck is wrong with you Ariel? Leave us to have our privacy alone.” He started to say, but she was not even talking to him, as she grabbed Sara’s hands and said, “You both are not going anywhere. And we all can have some personal time here. We’re going to organize a mini picnic for the four of us here.”
“What? Daniel do you have any idea about…” Sara could here Christian asking his friend, bit she didn’t get to listen or know the rest of the question because Ariel was already taking her away.
“Huh? Where are we going to?” Sara questioned, and Ariel replied with a smirk, “Were going to have a small picnic here.”
“But the supermarket… Whose going to be at the counter?” Sara asked worriedly, her words in a rush, as Ariel was dragging her so fast, to the snacks section.
“Closing the supermarket for a few minutes wouldn’t hurt would it?” Ariel asked, and thinking about the idea now, Sara laughed and decided to play along, “No it wouldn’t. It definitely won’t.”
