Chapter 68: Chapter 68
CHAPTER 68
DINAH
Today, she was leaving the shelter finally.
The past days had gone by like a blur, and it had been filled with her filling so many paperwork’s, and bading her good-byes to most of the matrons who had helped her with her deeds in the mansion.
She had already arranged where she was going to stay, and it was with Mikey of course.
Sometimes during times like this, wards and children would beg Mrs Patrick, the head matron for some more months so they would be able to arrange their leave, but Dinah didn’t do such.
When Mrs Patrick had submitted the final paperwork this morning for her to fill, she had given the woman a smug look, and with so much egoistic pride, she had filled the form in a rush, and signed in all the required places.
Over her dead body, would she seem weak, or beg for another day to stay at this suffocating useless shelter.
The woman, had disgraced her before, having the effrontery to throw her things out making her a scorn I’m front of these little children in the shelter.
Ever since that day, Dinah knee that the large respect she commanded diminished so fast, and no one feared her as they did bleavin
All these and more factors contributed to her wanting to leave early, and as it was she was happy leaving.
She would have the time and freedom to plan her life, as well as live her life to the fullest, and do whatever she wanted without any fucking restrictions.
It was time to unleash her full queen Dom power to the world.
Smiling to herself, she handed back another form to Mrs Patrick, who collected it gently.
“Hope you’re going to be okay? You know you can still buy some more time right? Besides you didn’t let the welfare department get a place for you, are you sure you have everything sorted out?” Mrs Patrick asked her gently, and Dinah brazenly not even minding or wanting to respect the nice young woman, hissed out loud.
The audacity, to ask her all these questions, when he had done worse.
For someone who had thrown away her things in public, and now she was here asking her these silly questions.
What did it matter if she was dead or alive? Dinah scoffed to herself.
“Did you get my questions Dinah?” Mrs Patrick asked her again, and she kept quiet for a while, before finally answering, “I’ll be fine.”
She was tempted to answer bluntly, and give the woman a piece of her mind, but she just respected herself.
Come to think of it… She knew if she answered anyhow, this woman could do nothing to her, because she was no longer under her care.
As it stood now, she could do whatever she wanted, but she just wanted to keep the woman’s dignity intact.
Matrons, cleaners and some people were still in the room, so maybe she could just compose herself as today was her last day.
She dragged one of her boxes, and waving at some of the matrons she started walking out of the room.
Tessa who was with her too, quickly grabbed some of her luggages and together they walked out of the room and headed towards the corridor, and the shelter’s hallway.
Dinah could feel the stares on her, but she walked like she still owned the room.
She matched every kid eye to eye, and she gave them a wicked smirk, making sure to send shivers and fear down their spine.
They were not allowed to make her feel down or vulnerable, just because she was leaving them.
No they were not!
Suddenly she stopped, so did Tessa.
She saw them!
Those fuckers…
Standing at one corner of the hallway, with some children too, staring straight at her and Tessa were Sara, Ariel and Miranda.
She smiled, watching them blankly, and she could see the surprise on their face, because she had stopped walking all of a sudden.
If she was even correct, she could feel the atmosphere of the hallway becoming tense and eyes everywhere were glued on the five of them.
Her, Tessa, Sara, Ariel and Miranda engaging a far stand off.
“Di… People are beginning to notice…” Tessa started to say, but she raised her hands up shutting her off.
“These people have no idea what’s in store for them.” Dinah smirked in a whisper.
“Thought it was only Sara?” Tessa questioned, but Dinah said nothing, as she picked up her luggage and continued walking.
“Let’s get out of here.” She commanded.
She was done with this place.

SARA
“What just happened?” Ariel asked, as she and Miranda watched Dinah leave, but well Sara too had no idea.
The look Dinah had given them, given her in particular had given her so much goosebumps, and now she was so scared.
As usual her gut feeling were already imagining the worst things, but she soon discarded them.
She couldn’t voice out her concerns, and she prayed Ariel wouldn’t notice, because she good at reading minds.
“Well, who knows what happened? We’re clueless just as you are.” Miranda, chimed in, munching on a biscuit, noisily and with no care in the world.
“You’re not scared?” Sara asked her slowly, after some time, and Miranda replied, “Well I am not. Truth be told, I’m so happy she’s gone. Just like the kids here too, everyone is happy. It’s remaining Tessa, and she would be gone soon too. Finally peace would be restored.”
Miranda was right, that Sara could agree with.
The faces of children in the hallway, were light and filled with so much happiness.
Despite not liking Dinah one bit herself, Sara couldn’t imagine what she was going through seeing the way no single kid had escorted her outside.
No matron, just her and Tessa walking away, and she still had her head held high.
What a pitiable soul she was, Sara thought.
“What are we still doing here? Let’s go and watch the final leave of almighty Dinah. Look everyone is going outside.” Ariel chuckled grabbing both her and Miranda’s hands.
True to Ariel’s words, everyone was going outside, and on getting there, Sara spotted a car and a matured man at the driver seat.
They all watched Dinah arrange her things in the car trunk, and giving Tessa a hug, she got into the car.
Publicly without any shame, she kissed the heavily tattoed man, and smiling at everyone, eyes still on the little crowd that had gathered, Sara watched as Dinah lifted her hands in a fuck you sign, as the car drove away.
“Good riddance!” Ariel blurted, and as the car sped away, immediately everyone in the shelter started shouting for joy.
“Madam Dinah is gone! She is gone! The head bully is gone! She is gone!” They all kept on chanting, and clapping happily, with no one even minding Tessa who walked solemnly and alone back inside the building.
Indeed it was a happy day at the shelter, as Dinah Liam, the bully was finally out of the shelter.
