Two weeks later.

Tara's car stopped in the middle of the road, she was blocking a car from leaving.

Richard was behind her, it was his car Tara blocked.

He frowned and opened his car door.

He walked out of the car.

Tara also walked out of her car with her big stomach.

His frown deepened when he saw that it was Tara, "Do you need anything?" He asked.

"No, don't you really care about Sherry? It has been more than two weeks since I saw Sherry last, her number is not going through anymore" Tara said immediately, her face filled with anxiety.

Richard's face immediately turned anxious.

"Let's go and talk somewhere" He suggested.

Tara nodded and drove away, Richard drove behind her.

Tara stopped in a tea shop.

She got down from the car.

Richard got down and followed her behind.

He walked into the tea house and saw her sitting down on the east side of the tea house.

He walked towards her.

"So what were you saying before?" He asked immediately, going straight to the point.

"Tara!"

Someone suddenly yelled.

Tara looked around and met her father's gaze.

"Dad! Did you follow me ?" She asked in a helpless voice.

"Of course, you left home in a hurry and didn't tell me where you are off to" Her father said and handed a hoodie, "You forgot your hoodie, my grandchild must be feeling cold, you should take care of yourself and my grandchild very well" Her father nagged.

Tara accepted it and put it on without complaint.

Her father then noticed that she was not alone.

"Oh is this the father of the child?" Her father asked with an approving look.

"No da-" Tara tried to talk to her father so he wouldn't disturb Richard.

"Young Man, what is your name? When are you planning to get married? You should know that it is bad for the child growth if it was born out of wedlock" He said and ignored what Tara was trying to say

"No dad" Tara tried to stop.

She winked at Richard so he won't get mad and leave.

Her father turned a deaf ear to what Tara was trying to say.

"Young Man, I am talking to you. Or are you planning to impregnate my daughter and not be responsible for her" He said in a harsh tone.

Richard cleared his throat, "Of course we will hold a wedding soon" He said.

Tara was surprised, she looked at Richard with surprise in her eyes

He was not mad?

"Good! Good! You have a good taste. You found a handsome husband and you are also beautiful yourself, I am sure my grandchild will turn out more handsome" Her father said with a smile.

He looked at Richard, "It is fine even if you are not rich to hold a wedding ceremony. We will take care of it. You can just be a live-in son in law, what do you think?" Her father asked.

Richard was stunned.

Live in son in law?

Him?

"No, I will take care of the wedding," Richard said.

"Do you have a job you are doing, do you want me to help you find one? You can come and work in my company. I am sure you would have heard of it, It is the second biggest business in America after Rainbow Corporation , named Glamorous Corporation, you can come and see me in my office tomorrow morning with your certificate I will assign a position for you" Her father said generously

Surprise flashes in Richard's eyes.

He shook his head and responded to Tara 's dad, "It is fine sir, I have a company too that I am managing " He said.

Tara's dad nodded, "What is the name?" He asked

"Sunshine Corporation, " he replied.

Tara dad nodded, he gave a thumbs up, "Impressive, It is good that you are very hardworking. I have heard a lot about Sunshine corporation, it is the third biggest business in America managed by a young man. You made the company the third from the sixth after some years after you returned from the United Kingdom in ten years, not bad. Pretty impressive of my son in law" Tara's dad praised him.

He wanted Tara to get married to Bryan who owned Rainbow Corporation but he heard rumors about him being a gay and he doesn't want his daughter to land herself into a hot cake and he wanted a grandchild as soon as possible Bryan wouldn't be able to give him a grandchild since he is a gay. He decided to leave his daughter and let her find her marriage partner herself but he actually got the third which is not bad, since he couldn't get the first he got the third.

Tara could not say anything, whenever she wanted to interrupt the two men ignored her like it was not her marriage they were deciding on. She just kept looking and listening on the side like a passerby.

Finally her father left after Richard promised to follow Tara's home to pay them a visit and discuss the wedding with his family.

Her father was finally willing to leave.

Tara heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that her father had finally left.

She glanced at him, "You don't have to mind what my dad is saying, he is just worried I will talk to him".

"So your father is the owner of Glamorous Corporation?"

They said at the same time.

Tara nodded at his question.

Richard narrowed his eyes at her, "Really? You are not desperate for me to marry you?" He asked with a mocking smile.

Tara flew into rage when she heard his words she immediately reined in her temper because of her baby, "You don't have to worry about anything. I can also sign that I won't disturb you anymore" She said in a calm voice.

"It is fine, I can still get married to you because of the child. It should not be fatherless " Richard replied when he heard her words.

"You don't have to. I was supposed to have traveled out before but I can not leave with my mind at peace because I could not contact Sherry for two weeks now. I called her number and it was not going through also" She said finally going to the reason why she blocked his car.

She was supposed to leave last three weeks but she could not because she called sherry after leaving her place the next day but her number was not going through she went to her house but she was told that Sherry was not around but when she asked the security of the estate he said he hasn't seen her come outside at all.

Richard frowned, his face turned serious, "Did you go to their house?" He asked.

"Yes I went there, but I saw a middle aged woman there. She told me that Sherry was not around and had traveled" Tara replied.

"Maybe she really traveled then" Richard said his brows were now smoothed.

"No she did not. I asked the estate security he said he hasn't seen her outside at all. And if she did she would have contacted me since so I won't get worried and besides the middle aged woman I have never seen her there before, and she was nervous when I was questioning her" Tara said.

Richard frowned and kept quiet.

"I will investigate this and give you a reply if I get any" He said after a moment of silence

Tara nodded, she stood up and left the tea house not mentioning the marriage matter
