She became more worried about her older daughter now.

She was planning on how to convince her older daughter to go on a blind date today when the police arrived.

She sighed and walked towards the couples.

Sherry raised her head when she heard footsteps approaching them, she saw that it was her mom.

"So have you asked your precious daughter?" Sherry asked in a sarcastic tone.

Beauty forced out a smile, she did not forget how she firmly believed that Nancy would not do it, but she was slapped in the face so fast that she didn't see it coming.

"Sherry, your sister was just playing with you, why are you taking it seriously besides you not being injured or breaking a leg, did you?" Her mom said with an amicable smile.

She knows how ridiculous and shameless her words sound but she doesn't want her precious daughter to go to jail.

Sherry let out a laughter full of mockery, "I didn't seriously injure or break a bone? Is it until I get injured, or break a bone or even dead before you know how serious the accident was?" Sherry asked with a cold voice.

Beauty froze, she scolded her harshly, "Don't say such bad words, you will not die" She said.

Sherry said as a matter of factly, "But your daughter wants me dead, no?"

Beauty smile, "Can you just let her off for my sake?" She asked.

Sherry shook her head "No she has to pay for her sins" she said firmly with no chance of negotiation.

Beauty froze, she pointed at Sherry, "Must you be so cruel?" She asked and continued, "Why are you so heartless? That is your blood sister!" She said

Sherry stood up and ignored Beauty, she glanced at Bryan, "Let's go home I'm tired" She said. She was exhausted mentally and physically.

Bryan nodded, he wrapped his hand around and led her towards the entrance. Sherry suddenly stopped and turned her head, and looked at her mom, "I will keep providing for you normally as I do, if you need anything else you can tell me but anything concerning Nancy I won't do anything about that" She said resolutely and allowed Bryan to lead her out of the police station.

Beauty was dumbstruck.

She actually dared to leave her standing even though she is not through with her requests?

She had actually become daring.

She was about to follow them when she stopped again and looked at where Nancy was locked up.

She turned around and walked towards the room Nancy was detained in, the officer didn't stop her this time.

She opened the door and walked into the room.

Nancy immediately looked up when she heard the door to the room open, "Mom" She said and stood up.

She thought her mom had abandoned her too.

"Nancy, are you hungry? What would you like to eat? Tell mom, mom will go and make it for you quickly" Beauty asked with a forced smile.

She doesn't want Nancy to notice anything from her expression but Nancy knew her very well so she knew that it was surely not good news.

She looked at her mom straight in the eyes, "Mom, has Sherry left?" She asked.

Beauty was stunned because she didn't expect that, that would be the question Nancy would ask, she tried not to look into her daughter 's face so she wouldn't notice anything.

"Yes, but she is coming back soon. You don't have to worry, she will bail you out. You know her husband is powerful and rich so he will do that" Beauty reassured Nancy with a forced smile.

She understood that Sherry would not do anything but she will still try to persuade her, if she still does not yield it is fine she still has a trump card which she can use and Sherry would never refuse her once she reveals her trump card.

Nancy was not deceived when she heard this, She sat down back on the chair, "Mom, why are you trying to deceive me? Sherry does not want to help me right?" Nancy asked with a mockery smile.

Beauty was stunned.

She quickly tried to coax Nancy, "You don't have to be sad I will try to persuade her, I am sure she will agree" She said.

Nancy didn't believe this, she could only try another method, "Mom, can you help me contact Wendy? Tell her my situation " She pleaded.

Beauty was confused when she heard this, "Wendy? Is that Sherry 's friend or is it someone else?" Beauty asked

"Yes, Sherry's friend, " She said.

Nancy became more confused, "Why do you want me to contact her?" She asked.

Nancy obviously would not explain, she only asked in an impatient voice, "Will you help me or not?"

Beauty saw that Nancy was about to flare up and immediately relented, "I will help you contact her, Are you hungry?" She asked.

Nancy nodded, "Just cook some rice. I am fine with that," Nancy said.

She doesn't have an appetite to eat a lot.

"Okay I will immediately go and prepare it for you," Beauty said .

Nancy nodded

Beauty smiled and walked out of the detained room.

She saw that the officer was also about to walk into the room.

She knew she could not spend a lot of time with her daughter, and managed her time very well before she walked out of the room. As she guessed the officer was about to urge her to leave quickly.

She nodded at the officer and walked out of the police station to cook for her daughter.
