Naira was all silent in the car with just one thought in mind. She got too absent-minded to hear Parth calling out her name several times.

Her thought got interrupted when Parth spoke up as he shook Naira a little, “Ira, what happened? Where are you lost?”

Naira just shook her head with a little bit of a smile which got Parth frowning.

He spoke up not buying her expression, “Come on. Tell me.”

Naira got silent finding nothing to say at first and got her head down.

Sensing something off, he asked her again, “Who was the man with you at the entrance by the way?"

Naira looked at him this time and got uttering, “Ehan.” only to get Parth stopped the car with a jerk as he got uttering, “What? What was he doing there? No, why was he there from the beginning?”

Naira answered all casually, “We signed a contract with his company.” only to get Parth widening his eyes in disbelief.

He got uttering, "Have you two gone mad or what? How could Akash agree with this?"

Naira answered him with a tone like it was an obvious thing to do, “I made him sign the contract."

Parth spoke up being all frustrated, "Ira, are you even serious?"

Naira got uttering in an all confident voice, "He already means nothing to me now, Parth but the contract will be good for our company. And believe me, I can handle it.”

Hearing her, Parth got uttering then, “It's not like I don't believe you, Ira. I just don't want you to get hurt again by him.”

Naira spoke up then, “You don't worry. Nothing is going to happen like this, Parth. Now let's go otherwise I will get late.”

Nodding at her, Parth started the car and forwarded towards their destination.

Ehan's POV

Naira is in a relationship now. I didn't know why it kept me boiling in anger.

How could she!

It was a dare for me but she loved me.

How could she move on like there was nothing between us!

It should be the case for me but terribly it wasn't.

I got stuck there in my guilt and she!

My mind got uttering, “Now she loves someone else." Only to get me to punch on the bag harder.

At some point, I fell on the ground panting hard. My hand was bleeding but I didn't feel like cleaning it or putting on a bandage.

I got back to my room and took a long cold shower. When the anger subsided, I felt hurt.

Naira's word, “We have a date." directly crossed my heart for some reason. Though it already late in the evening, getting ready, I forwarded towards the beach where I thought I would find peace but no.

This place was also filled with her memory. That day when I got her to the beach started playing in my mind.

Her first assumption on me turned out to be the brutal truth when she uttered, “I thought you left.”

My answer was nothing but lies when I replied, “Leaving you alone? Never.”

I left her all broken and all alone. Now I shouldn't do this.

I wondered,

“Should I terminate the contract!”

The answer from within was prompt, “No.” only to get me all silent.

Giving my thought a break, I kept staring at the sea for a while. All of a sudden it started raining. I was about to run to my car but got stopped for a moment thinking about that day.

I looked all around only to get disappointed and then forwarded towards the car again.

My mind was occupied leaving no place to think straight. I thought of talking to Naira.

I dialled her number only to hear it was unavailable.

Then thinking of something, I called my PA.

When I was done, I forwarded towards my place.

Author's POV

Akash was at his study, working on a file when his phone rang off flashing on the phone screen,

Sam Calling...

Akash answered the call only to get little angry. Ehan was asking to hold the meeting tomorrow itself but Akash wasn't prepared for a bit.

Naira entered the study after few minutes and spoke up, “Brother, give me the file of details of the product of Sinha group, we would be promoting.”

Akash gave her a questioning look only to get her utter, “Sam informed me of the meeting of tomorrow with Sinha group.”

Akash continued his work on the file of earlier as he got uttering, “I will handle that project. You don't need to bother that.”

Naira spoke up all casually, “Why? The planning department is mine, brother. I will handle that only.”

Akash spoke up giving her a helpless look, “Ira, please sweety. Stop forcing yourself. I can do that.”

Naira smiled a little and spoke up, “Akash, you are already busy with other projects. I can't just sit and see you handling it all alone. Believe me, brother. I can handle it.”

Akash forwarded the file to her still hesitating. Naira took the file and left from there.

The next morning after completing some work at the company, Naira forwarded towards Sinha company with her team. Though Akash tried to accompany her, she didn't allow him as he was supposed to have another meeting at that time.

The Next Day at Sinha Office

The meeting went on smoothly. Ehan kept looking at Naira every few minutes who just presented the marketing plan all professionally without bothering Ehan's look on her.

When the meeting got completed, Ehan spoke up, “That’s great. I like your idea.”

Naira replied with a little bit of a smile, “Thank you.”

Getting completed with other words about the product promotion, Naira forwarded to leave with her team only to get stopped as Ehan spoke up, “Naira, can I have a talk with you?”

Naira nodded all politely as she uttered, “Sure.”

Everyone left from there and Ehan got uttering directly without beating around the bush, “I am sorry.”

Naira feigned ignorance and spoke up, “I am sorry to know you feel that way but...For what?”

When Ehan got uttering, “Ira, please."

This time Naira's face got all stern as she spoke up, “Firstly, it's Naira. And secondly, I have moved on and reached too far to remember the past and I really don't think it was worth remembering.”

Ehan asked sadly, “Do you really love that guy yesterday you went on a date with?”

Naira spoke up with the same tone, “I don't think I am bound to answer you. But as you are insisting, then listen, I love him. Now if you are done, I want to leave. My colleagues are waiting for me.”

With that Naira left the cabin. Ehan sat on the chair and leaning against it, closed his eyes only to remember the moment when Naira said, she loved him.

Today he understood, he was already late seeking forgiveness let alone asking her to be with him again.

She wasn't there anymore for him but deep in his heart, he was still there wishing to go back to the time when she confessed.

His thought got broken when he heard a knock on his door.

Rayan entered and uttered, “Sir, you have a meeting in half an hour.”

He didn't open his eyes but spoke up, “Okay.”

He attended the meeting only to get the hell out of the employees. After yelling at them while fighting with his frustrations, he left from there.

He got out of the building and hopped in his car. Without any destination in mind, he started driving at a great speed.

When he got stuck in traffic, he stopped the car being all irritated. He leaned against the seat and closed his eyes for some moments.

When a familiar male voice came to his hearing, he opened his eyes only to get it all widened.

The guy he saw with Naira was on knees in front of a girl other than Naira and begging her to stay with him....
