CHAPTER 6: THANK YOU

I was surprised when Alex visited where I worked, while waiting for callix we talked first until we are already talking about our childhood. Callix, I, and Alex are childhood, callix, and Alex is not like friends they were brothers since were young. We both laughed until he brings up my illness.
FLASHBACK
“ How are you feeling?” Alex asked.
“ I’m good” he nodded but I knew that he wants to tell me something.
“ by the way, what brings you here?” I looked at him.
“ can I talk to you but not here,” he said seriously so I took my phone and text callix that I’m having overtime work.
I got in Alex’s car and went straight to his condo, I didn’t ask any questions and I just followed him. We went in and made him sit down then he went to the kitchen to get some drinks.
“ juice for you” I smiled at him.
“ by the way, your parents visit me” I’m not surprised because my parents always visited Alex. My parents want Alex for me but because of my grandfather, I am married to callix.
“ Are they okay?” eve they were both mad at callix, I still respect them.
“ yeah, they invited me on vacation with you” I’m surprised.
“ with me?” I’m curious.
“ yes, next week they want to go to Taiwan for a walk but they want us to come with them so they asked me to talk to you to allow you to come with us” he explained.
“ But what about callix? When I come, of course, he will come too” I can’t leave my husband.
“ of course you can take him with you especially that is a family bonding” it relieved me, I thought he will going to say that callix will leave here.
“ I’m sure that callix will be excited about this, we’ve never gone abroad because we’re too busy and I don’t like to spend money” I smiled.
“ you know what? You can do all that you want if you just go back to your parents” I frowned.
“ you can go back to your old life, I know that you’re doing this because of callix but if he loves you he will be okay if you go back to your parents. Think about this, your going to undergo surgery within a month and callix cant save enough money within that short time even you, you need your parents now” Alex said.
“ all right, let’s say that you paid for your surgery but how about the other expenses? We will not stop the treatment until you go to fine. And I want you to know that if you go to the US for the surgery there will be a high percentage of living “ he said.
“ what do you mean?” is it true? Really?
“ I know callix didn’t tell you about this so I’m going to tell you to know, I have an acquaintance in the US and am willing to handle your case, and don’t worry I am one of your doctors there. Go there and there was a high possibility that you’re going to live” I’m thinking about what he says.
“ only your parents can help you especially to pay for your surgery and more expenses. I know does callix everything but it’s not enough Trisha, think about yourself and not your husband. Tell your parents about your situation and I’m sure they will understand you” Alex right, I want to continue to live especially I have dreams with my husband. How I can do this if I’m going to die. I can’t stop crying right now. All I want is to live a long life.
END OF FLASHBACK
Alex and I talked a lot and we didn’t notice the time so he sends me already at home because it was too late already.
“ thank you, Alex” Alex give me hope that I’m going to hold on.
“ why so late hon?” I never expected that callix already at home.
“ Why are you here?” I asked suddenly but I realized that my question to him was wrong.
“ oh wait I think I got a wrong house” he went out and looked around the house.
“ no hon, sorry I was just shocked that you got home early. You finished your work earlier?” he looked disappointed.
“ Yeah, go ahead hon, and rest I know that you’re tired from your work because you worked overtime until this time” I know what he means but I just let him go because I’m tired.
I went to our bathroom and take a shower then I finished, I was going to brush my teeth but suddenly my vision got blurred so I closed my eyes and take a deep breath but when I open my eyes I couldn’t see anything, what was happening to me.
“ callix! Callix!” I’m crying already.
“ what happen?” I heard him and my hand searching him so when I touched him, I hugged him immediately.
“ please call Alex, I need him” that’s my last word and I lost consciousness
