CHAPTER 20: CHANGE PARTNER

I was suddenly surprised someone spoke so I turned back and it’s callix, I’m a bit irritated.

“ How are you? I heard that you are pregnant” huh? I’m not pregnant.

“ the person who said is lying, I’m not pregnant”

“ so your husband is lying” why would Alex say that I’m pregnant

“ don’t believe what others say, that why you’re easy to fool,” I said.

“  so you’re telling me that you’re fooling me when you say that you love me” I frowned.

“ believe it or not I love you before” I decide to leave because maybe someone will be going to see us and miss interpret it but he grabbed my arm and he leaned me on the wall.

My heart was pounding because it slowly approached me and he looked to my eyes down to my lips, as he was about to kiss me I closed my eyes and was ready to be kissed.

“ miss my kissed huh?” I pushed him, why did I close my eyes and I am willing to be kissed by him?

“ know your place Mr. devera” I don’t know what to say or act.

Suddenly Alex came and his face was dark looking at callix while callix wiping his lips that it looks likes we just finished kissing. What? Did he just pretend that did we kiss?

I didn’t realize that he was leaving so I am looking at him and he approached a girl then he wrapped his hand to the waist of the girl. I felt pain when I saw that.

“ hon” Alex called me, I forgot that Alex is with me.

“ Sorry, let’s go” we walked back but we met callix and the girl but why is that this girl seems familiar to me.

“ oh, Mr. Ledesma are you both going to dance?” I was stunned by his question, I looked in front and people are dancing including my parents.

“ ah yes, let’s go on”  I frowned looking at him.

“ looks like your wife doesn’t want to dance with you Mr. Ledesma” callix teased that makes Alex’s face darken.

“ callix let’s go,” the girl said, callix nodded.

“ how why did you embarrass me in front of them” he was annoyed.

“ Sorry, but if you want then we can dance” to get rid of his annoyance I just said yes.

We were dancing already, a sweet dance. Behind we is callix while my parents are in our side, while we were dancing I saw callix looking at me deeply but suddenly he winked at me.

“ change partner” suddenly said the host, I didn’t notice that we had already formed a circle and we turned around to change a partner.

“ Mrs. Ledesma you look tense” I was surprised that callix is my partner.

“ ca-callix” I got nervous.

“ I miss that name called by you but I’m missed more the way you call hon” he pulled my waist to get closer to him.

“ I miss you hon” he whispered in my ear which makes me tickle at what he said.

“ stop playing Mr. Devera” I tried to move away because he is close to me but he clung tightly to me.

“  I’m not playing, I’m just saying that I miss my wife” my heart beats fast.

“ I’m not your wife anymore Mr. Devera” I almost crouched.

“ oh sorry, I’ve mistaken” he pulled me away and turned me into another partner, I looked at him sharply but he just smiles.

The dance ended but I’m pissed, I’m pissed the way he played at me while we were dancing then I walked and leave the place, I need to breathe.

“ Mrs. Ledesma” someone called so I looked back and this girl is with callix lately then she hates me my wallet, I’m so pissed that’s why I forgot my wallet.

“ your wallet” she smiled, this girl is the type of callix. Simple and nice.

“ thank you? “ I said in question.

“ I’m lian” she held her hand on me so I took and shook her hands.

“ Just call me Trisha” I smiled at her.

“ oh Trisha, nice to meet you” she smiled back.

“ would you mind that I join you here? It’s tiring to be inside” I saw her taking off her heels and dip her foot in the pool.

“ yeah it’s tiring, too many people” I took off to my heels and dip my foot.

We were quiet and plating our feet in the swimming pool but I thought of callix.

“ have you known callix for a long time?” I suddenly asked.

“ not really but I can say that I know him more than others”  I felt a pain in my chest.

“ you are his ex-wife right?” I looked at her for being shocked.

“ you and your family who hurt callix” she added. Something stuck on my throat so I couldn’t speak.

“  stay away from him,” she said emphatically and stoop up then she put on her shoes but I stood up and hold her arm.

“ don’t act like you are his wife” I don’t know but I got pissed at what she said.

“ are you? Isn’t not, you’re his ex-wife who threw him because you thought that he’s a worthless person” my eyes darkened so I slapped her hard which make her fall into the pool.

“ ahhhhh!” it screams and its struggle in the pool. I was suddenly nervous, I couldn’t swim.

“ help!” I shouted and I saw callix run and jump in the pool then he raised lian.

Lian coughed and coughed as callix came up, he looked at me in pain. It’s not my fault and it’s her fault.
