CHAPTER 16: PROVOKE

LIAN

As callix said we are going home to the Philippines so we are arranging our belongings but I don’t think we will go home immediately in less than a month as he said.

“ lian, callix tells you to set an appointment for Mr. Alex Ventura” I wondered what Michael said, why is that callix will going to meet his stupid friend.

“ tsss its hard to read your boss” I complained while I zip my suitcase and wet out of the room but Michael help me.

“ lian, our boss” Michael smiled.

“ gab where is callix?” we saw gab having coffee.

“ In his room” I went to the kitchen and make a coffee for us because it looks like callix will take a while to get down.

“ coffee” I handed the coffee to Michael.

“ gab do you have any idea why callix wants to talk to Alex?” we sat in front of him and he looks serious.

“ Alex keeps provoking callix” Michael and I look at each other.

“ what do you mean?” I’m curious too about at gab said.

“ Alex keeps sending pictures with her in their honeymoon and every happy moment they have” what a heartless person, they don’t know what callix having, callix giving all his effort to be new, and here they are provoking him.

“ Alex calls him too to tell that Trisha is pregnant” this is hurtful for callix because it this their dream to have a child with Trisha.

“ what did callix say?”

“Nothing, he’s quiet but I can see the anger on his face especially to the last Alex send” I frowned.

“ send what?” I asked.

“ Alex sending multiple videos I mean sex video of him and her wife fucking hardly” what! Gross! I shudder in annoyance. Alex is merciful, how can he do this? Does Trisha know? What sensible husband would video their every intercourse? FUCK!

“ oh there you are” we looked at callix going down the stairs but I couldn’t hide my annoyance.

“ is everything okay gab? Are we going to leave?” he smiled but you can see the sadness in his eyes.  Couldn’t help but feel even sadder as I witnessed his unified path.

“ oh, lian does my handsomeness make you cry” I didn’t notice that my tears are dripping, I turned around and ignored him. SHIT!

We were already on the plain and everything was quiet but I can’t help but look at callix and think about what gab said.

“ Why did you cry?” he asked while his eyes were closed. Tsk!

“ because I’m upset at you” he smiled while closing his eyes.

“ and why are you upset?” he asked.

“ Why do you let them treat you like that? You train to fight them, why are you not fighting? Isn’t enough what they did to you?” my voice is shaking because it seemed I want to cry.

“fight? Like how they fight? No, I’m not like that. I’m going to fight in the right way”  he said calmly.

“ Let them do what they want to do but I’m not just keeping quiet, trust me lian” he opened his eyes and winked at me then he closes his eyes again I looked at gab and Michael who were looking serious.

“rest lian because later many people will meet us” I frowned at what he said.

What does he mean many people will meet us? I looked at gab and Michael but they shrugged.

“ what do you mean many people?” I hold his arm.

I was waiting for his answer but he didn’t say a word, I shook him but he didn’t pay any attention so I was irritated.

“ callix! What do you mean!” I already shout at him and even though he’s my boss I don’t care.

“ don’t you forgot that your boss is famous?” my eyes widened at what he said. No! don’t tell me he said that he was coming? The press will come all over, is he crazy?!

“ Mr. devera! Why did you not tell us and why did you tell them that you’re coming? Does your dad know this? Callix what did you do?!” I stood up for being upset and I looked gab and Michael shocked.

“ gab notify your people to go to the airport right now!” im panicked because of callix, sir. Diego will get mad about this.

“ don’t worry I’m just going to greet them” I’m getting more upset about what callix said.

“ sir you about show up until sir Diego said” Michael warned him.

“ sir Diego will get mad at us” gab added.

“ chill! I won’t show up” he said relaxed.

“ then why did say that you will be going to greet them” I don’t understand this man.

“ yeah I greet them, I’m just going to wave but I won’t going to show my face. It would be rude if I don’t even wave at them” he smiled. I looked at him madly, this guy is making me nervous.

“ still gab call all your men, we don’t know how many presses will come but we expect many so just be ready” I ordered gab then he nodded.

“ of course many people to come to see me CAPTION: a hot guy who hit number 1 wine industry visit the Philippines! Hahaha,” he’s crazy! What a full blast of arrogance he has.
