CHAPTER 15: A YEAR PAST

I gave everything to her, I endured her parent’s ridicule of me but I didn’t think she was having a hard time when she was with me. The way they looked at me they were disgusted because I’m dirt and my clothes are torn, I can’t believe Trisha will like her mom.

I looked at her behind, they held they’re wedding at the hotel so when he got entered she was looking at people until she saw and she was shocked maybe because I looked trash when I go to her room but now I look decent man but from now on I will never forget the things you and your parents done to me. I will come back and show that the person you stabbing is a billionaire.

“ Sir are you sure we’re leaving?” gab asked, were in the car right now and on our way to the airport. I don’t need to be there because it’s making me hurt more.

“ yeah right? You didn’t give your gift yet” lian added.

“  oh, my gift? my appearance and bonus is A honeymoon. They won’t forget about that. I spend a lot on their honeymoon because that’s my dream when I was married but because they are my friends they can have that honeymoon “ I smiled bitterly.

“ so you’ll going to forget them?” lian asked.

“ no, I will never forget them just like what dad said, I will make an inspiration to get up and come back to show the outcome”

We were on the plane and I looked outside, I’m going back to this place where they were mocked by the person I respected and loved.

A YEAR PAST

“ sir callix you a call” I was at the gym, before getting in the office I’m having a gym first.

“  who?” I stopped and approached lian.

“ your dad” she replied but I saw her looking at my body then she gulped.

“ isn’t hot looking? Hmmm?” I smiled at her but she averted her eyes while her cheek is red.

“ dad?” everyday dad calls me and tells me about what is going on in the Philippines and I heard that Trisha’s surgery was successful and she’s not doing fine now.

“nope dad, we weren’t going to stay here any longer,” dad asked if we going to stay in new york longer.

“ yeah dad, we’ll be back in a month” daddy’s birthday is next month so I plan to go home there too to be with him on his birthday.

“ Okay, dad bye” I returned my phone to lian and go to the bathroom to take a shower.

Many things happen to me even just a year ago, it was just my first I this place but I have a schedule to do already but it’s okay with me. I didn’t complain and followed everything that my dad gave me, even at night I study to know everything in our company while in the morning I study how to interact with people.

I was in the US for half of the year to learn the wine industry because all of my dad’s companies were about wine and I didn’t fail because with my effort I learned how to run it.

“next month we will going home to the Philippines”  were having breakfast.

“lian I want to prepare a party for dad, Michael can you help lian. I want his friends and everyone to know about dad party” they looking at me.

“ make it simple but elegant and don’t forget to invite the Santos family” their eyes widened.

“ why?” my innocent question.

“ hey callix Devera, what are thinking right now huh?” I don’t understand lian, sometimes rude, sometimes kind and concerned and she acts like my mother who could only preach.

“ Santos family is one of my dad’s business partners but not that big” I ate pancakes as if that family just didn’t belong.

“ We know that I’m asking what else went into your brain this time? The first three months we were in the US, you sent them a lot of grapes when they were launching” lian is cute when she was annoyed and I want to annoy her more.

“ oh what the matter? I’m just being nice because they are a lot of people standing so I gave them something to eat “it’s true that people are hungry already while waiting for their opening, so I help them but the people went to the grapes and forget the launching of their product.

“ second, on Mrs. Santos’s birthday you sent them a truck full of empty bottles and you left in front of their company” lian is still annoyed and I’m enjoying looking at her. I saw that it was reported because it caused traffic and blocking the way that’s why she apologize for causing inconvenience to others.

“ now what are you planning ?” I smiled at lian.

“ payback time” I stood up and left their faces with too many questions.

It’s time to go back to the Philippines and introduce the new me, I still have in my mind the hurtful words that they said to me, every night it keeps me bugging into my mind and I always dreaming the day that kneels to them.

“ this guy who used to be worthless, useless, filthy will come back and make them feel the feeling that I had” I clenched my fist while talking to myself.
