Still, Lucas’s POV

“HEY ...! Wait, Lucas! ” I heard Ate call.

I took big steps to the parking lot where Ate's car was parked.

"What's wrong with you?"

Know if Ate is worried.

"Lucas ...!" it called again without me saying a word.

“What ?!” i asked her almost yelling.

Ate was stunned, looking shocked at what I said.

“I’m sorry ..” I apologized. I also sympathized with Ate in the heat of my head. “I’m just tired, Lourine. Get on, let's go home. ” I added and got in the car. It quietly followed.

I also don't know why I act like this. All I know is, I’m disgusted. The weird.

"What was that?" then Ate slept again. I didn’t say a word, I just focused on driving. "That woman before, isn't that her?"

“You little freak ..” I hissed under my breath. "If anything you're thinking, you're wrong ..."

Maxine’s POV

"THANK YOU ..." I said to Hevo when I opened the door. It was only eight o'clock when we were in front of the mansion. After we ate I drove home.

“My pleasure ..” he smiled.

I let Hevo leave first before I went inside.

I IMMEDIATELY went to the bathroom when I got to the bedroom.

"Oh, why did you come home so early?" I heard Mom ask from outside.

"I'm suddenly tired, 'Mom." I replied while undressing. I take a half bath, I do this ritual before going to bed.

The truth is, I lost that good mood before.

Why is that man like that? I thought we were friends. Eh, why did he seem mad at me earlier? Bipolar ata ‘yon.

After I took a half bath I put on my pajamas and climbed onto my deck. my seat was upstairs because Mom's knees hurt from going up and down, so we changed seats.

Smiling I put my phone under the pillow. not bad either, Hevo is handsome.

I woke up EARLY the next day. I have to help Mom with chores today. Just like today, I’m currently mopping the living room while Mom cooks breakfast.

It's not even noon but I'm already sweating. Are you the one to mop up a big house, eh, you can really save a bucket of sweat.

"Hey .. please bring me some coffee in the garden .." said the demonic voice of Miss Beatriz. It continued outside.

THE day passed EASILY. It's Monday again, there's another class. I got up lazily and went to the bathroom. Why did March come so late? I want to g-um-raduate!

NOT many vehicles pass through the area so I decided to walk a little further to get on the tricycle.

Miss Beatriz's black car passed me again. tsk, I wasn't even offered to ride, we're both at the same University.

Lucas’s POV

I WAKED up to the sunlight hitting my face from the window. It must be morning. I decided to get up and put on the top.

We went out of Ate's room together.

"Good morning, baby brother." Lourine greeted.

"Morning .."

"Aren't you coming?"

I looked here. It was only then that I noticed it was fully dressed.

"Where?" I asked as I walked downstairs.

“I’ll go with‘ Dad and ‘Mom. Now Grandpa is dating. We are going to Manila. ”

I was stunned.

"Why is that too early?" I asked more. My birthday is next month.

Lourine shook her head. "That I even dunno, baby brother .."

I let out a deep sigh. That old man!

"Are you going with us?" she asked again.

“I’m out. I have to go somewhere." I lied. I continued to step and headed straight outside. I headed to my own garage where my motor collections were lined up.

I don’t want to see my Grandfather.

I DON’T know where I’m going. I don't really walk. I just don’t want my Abuelo to catch up with me in that house.

I was a little annoyed when from not far away my eyes caught the familiar figure of a woman, standing near the waiting-shed and barely looking at her watch. she was wearing her school uniform, and seemed to be waiting for a ride.

I passed him. I couldn’t get over with what had happened. But even though I hadn't gone far, my conscience was bothering me.

Here I am again.

puffing an air, I suddenly u-turned my big bike and headed back into her direction.

"Get on." I commanded as I stopped infront of her.

"Hahah!" its startled question. He tries to reflect my face.

I took off the helmet I was wearing before speaking. the reaction on his face when he met me was even more surprised.

"Take a ride before I change my mind."

He frowned but immediately obeyed when he realized what I said. Eventually it wrapped its arms around my waist.

based on his uniform, he studied at Willford.

After a while we also reached the University.

"Uhm, s-thanks for the delivery .."

I took my helmet off and just gave her a glimpse.

"Maxine!"

"Hevo!" Maxine responded. I raised an eyebrow as the rear of the car got out and approached Maxine.

"Let's go ..." Hevo said to Maxine. The latter followed.

“You’re crazy Lucas ..” I shook my head as I followed Maxine’s gaze.
