“Rise and shine…Wil...”

William slowly opens his eyes, I'll be the first lady he sees after he woke up from his sweet dreams. I tied his hands in the headboard and I’m standing on the bed as I point a real gun to his face while waiting for him to open his eyes. He opens his eyes and stares at the headboard, he sighs when he sees himself tied with his bleeding nose. “Bondage?” He sighs. “Schackmatt!” I reply as I point the gun closer to his forehead and look at him from the top of him. “Okay, that’s not a pellet gun” He says in dismay.

“Your brother-in-law really should’ve found a better hiding place” I state. “Listen, Maia... if it’s the keys to the car you’re looking for, they’re in my pocket” He heavily breathing. I laugh softly “Oh, no, no… we are way past that” I respond. “I’m really sorry Maia. You know, none of this was supposed to happen” He says. “But it did… it did happen” I say in a low voice as I point the gun at him. “So now we’ve gotta work with what we’ve got” I state.

“Unfortunately Wil, I’m not quite as creative as you are” I scoff. “Listen, you think you could loosen these a little? I can’t feel my hands” He demands as he points his tied wrists with his mouth. I make my way to the headboard and I tighten the rope. “Ugh shit!” He groans. I point the gun back to his face and I’m standing next to the bed. “Okay well, look, if you want the cops to come out here it’s not gonna happen because the phones, they don’t work this far out” He says.

I chuckle “I know that Wil…” I respond, I pulled the gun’s trigger. “Now follow me, don’t make any move!” I say. I take off his wrists tied and walk out of the cabin, I walk behind William as I point the gun to the back of his head, his hands in the air as he walks slowly in front of me, we make our way behind the car and I open the trunk after. “I’d like you to get in the trunk, now!” I say. William turns around and facing me, I keep pointing the gun at him and keep an eye on him.

He looks up into the trunk and sighs “No, come on” He says. I inhale deeply as I point the gun at him “Don’t piss me off Wil” I heavily breathe. “Get… In… the trunk” I say. “O…okay” He responds in stutters. “Get in the trunk!” I yell as I fire the ground next to his foot. “Fuck… fuck!” He jumps around avoided the shot. “Get in!” I yell as I point the gun at him. “You could’ve blown my foot off! You could’ve fucking crippled me!” He's outbursts.

“Get in the trunk!” I yell. “Okay, please I’m begging you to not do this” He begs. “I know I’m fucked up, I know I need help but please don’t make me get in there. Leave me here, I don’t wanna go, I wanna stay” He starts crying like a baby. I stare at him in silence with a raised eyebrow. “Okay, just do it. Shoot me, kill me!” William gets closer to the gun and runs his head in front of the gun as he closes his eyes and sobs.

“No, no, don’t fire. Okay, I’ll get in there” He says, he walks backward away from the gun and ready to get in. “Are you done? I don’t have time for this. Get in!” I yell. “I need you to get into the trunk! Get in!” I yell of loud. “Okay, you wanna me to get in” He mumbles. “Get in the trunk Wil! Get in the trunk!” I yell. William ready to gets into the trunk “See I’m getting in the trunk” He says as he gets in the trunk.

“Oh, shit!” He mumbles inside the trunk. “You ready to test your theory about microcosm out?” I ask and I close the trunk after. “Wait, wait, wait! What are you gonna do to me?” He asks inside the trunk. I make my way and get into the car, I turn on the car and start to pull away. I drive out of the town with William inside the trunk, I didn’t hear his voice since we pulled away from the cabin. I keep smiling on our way, thinking about how can I do shit like this.

I remember when the first time I’m looking around his website before I decided to call him without a second thought. Last night was my engagement day, thanks to William I failed to be Ben’s fiancé. I didn’t want to hurt my family, that’s why I called William and asked him to kidnapped me a day before the event. But poor William, I fool him in our run and prank him as far like this. Since I leave Lena, my life was boring, I didn’t do any fun shit in my life like I used to.

When I sat alone in my office, looking around the internet and kept thinking about my boring housewife’s life could be. I saw William’s kidnapping website on ads and I joined the site. I read the captions and got an idea “How if I disappear on my engagement day? Everything will be done” I smirked as I looked at the site. I swiftly reached over the office phone and decided to call him without a second thought, then I called him.

“Hello?” William said through the phone.

“Is this Wil?” I ask.

“Yes…” William responded.

“Is this a bad time?” I asked.

“No, no. Not at all” William said.

“I’m calling about my free consultation” I started.

“Sure, what did you have in mind, uh…” William replied.

“Maia” I said.

“Maia?” William confused.

“I have a fantasy…” I inhaled deeply.

“I want to disappear” I said.

“Okay, that can be arranged” William said.

“Really?” I surprised as I highly raised my voice.

“I’m so glad…” I exhaled in relief.

“Yeah, we have a whole… a host of different scenarios that we can, uh… recommend” William explained.

“Surprise me…” I responded under my breath.

“Mmm… okay” William said.

“Your website lists a standard rate for a six-hour simulation. Is that negotiable?” I asked.

“Oh well-” William answered before I cut him off.

“Sorry, let me more clear… I’d like to go for the whole weekend. I’m prepared to pay extra for longer simulation” I said.

“Oh, you are?” William surprised.

“How’s 10.000 even? Half upfront… the other half after we’ve finished” I said.

“Wil?” I called him.

“Yes, I’m still here. That’s um… that’s fine” William responded, he dropped his mug. I could hear the noises through the phone, he might shock.

“I was going to mention there’s one more thing that I’d like to request” I said.

“Okay?” William listened.

“I’m kind of embarrassed to ask…” I said.

“Oh, no, no. I’ve been doing this for a long time. Trust me there’s no request I haven’t heard” William laughed softly.

“Slapping” I said.

William keeps silent on the phone for minutes, before he answered me.

“What’s that?” William asked.

“During the simulation, I’d like for you to… “ I inhaled.

“Slap me” I exhaled heavily.

“Uh… You’ve been on our site?” William asked.

“Yes” I answered.

‘It’s just that, um… we have those terms up there. I’m sure you read we’re not allowed to hit our clients” William explained.

“Maia?” He called me.

“I was hoping that you would make an exception” I said.

“I… I’m afraid that’s just not possible at this time” William responded.

“I see…” I said.

“But listen if you want to-” He didn’t finish his word.

“Fuck” I mumbled.

“What’s wrong?” He asked in dismay.

“Nothing thanks for your time” I hanged up the phone.

I pissed off and hanged up the phone as I slammed the phone on my work desk. I just wanted to have a little fun instead of living my boring life after I engage with Ben. And I just want to disappear to clear my mind from Lena because I still can’t get over her. On the other hand, I’m not ready to get married or having a serious relationship after I left Lena. I inhaled deeply and tried to settle down, I leaned my back on the seat, and minutes after that I got a phone call again.

“LaLuna” I said.

“Maia?” William said through the phone.

“Yes, please don’t call me anymore” I said.

“No, no. Hold on! Is this legit?” William said.

“What is?” I asked.

“You didn’t prank me about the 10.000?” William asked.

“You can look me up. I’m CEO at LaLuna Corporate NYC” I said.

William clicked his computer and searched on the internet for minutes, he kept silent and I’m about to hang up the phone.

“I should go” I said.

“Wait, wait…” William said.

“Wil, is our conversation finished, or isn’t it?” I asked.

“Um, No… “ William responded.

“Then you’ll keep an open mind?” I asked.

“I will…” William replied.

“I’m so glad” I exhaled.

I sent him $5.000 as the upfront money minutes after our conversation and he surprised, he spat his food and I could hear that through the phone.

“You sound surprised” I said.

“Well, it’s a lot of money” He replied.

“Yes but you understand it comes with strings attached” I said.

“No, of course” He said.

“I don’t scare easily. It has to feel real...” I said.

“That’s was we’re all about” He said.

The noon breeze wakes me up from my mind and I back to reality, that’s how everything started. I pull over and parked my car not far from my house, I look around and there’s no one in here. I smoothing out my hair with my fingers and wear my favorite lipstick “You’re perfect!” I smile as I’m looking at myself from the mirror. I get out of the car and make my way to the trunk, I open the trunk and I see William inside the trunk.

He gets out of the trunk and standing in confusion “Are we at the police station or? He asks as he looking around the spot. “Oh, No! We’re around my neighborhood. I hope that’s okay” I say as I wear my coat and smoothing out my hair, William keeps looking around the place in confusion. He didn’t know that I fooled him. “It’s just I have a lot of work to do after this, a bride normally can’t disappear at the engagement day in my family rules so-” I wear my earrings.

“I’m sorry what?” William asks in confusion. I put my hands on my waist and smile as I point my gaze at him “Wil...” I laugh softly as I shook my head. “You did it, it’s been 48 hours. The weekend’s done, the scenario’s done. And I passed my engagement day” I explain with a smile come through my face. I turn around and close the trunk “I called the police on my way over, you really were not kidding about them being concerned, were you?” I say.

“Is that usually happen?” I ask. William keeps standing in silence as he keeps looking at me, he shocked because he thought he might be in the police station now if all shit that I put him in was real. “What am I thinking? You must be dehydrated!” I exclaim, I make my way to the car and brought a bottle of water with me. “I know I certainly was when you had me in the trunk and before you even ask-” I give him the water before I finish my word.

William keeps listening to me as he drinks the water. “I called the bank… they’re in process of transferring the other $5000 from my account over to yours. Of course, I didn’t factor in incidentals and damages, and medical expenses that were incurred during our run. Do you have any insurance for that, maybe? Or I probably will send you more” I smile as I’m looking at him. William coughs as he heard my words, he didn’t expect that today is his lucky day.

“You know what, just think about it” I patted his shoulder gently and smile. “Whatever you think is fair, let me know. Just call me over well, um… we’ll settle it” I say. He keeps looking at me in silence and smile. “Wil, I’m really impressed with how in depth your service went” I shook my head. “I mean the second location? Those crazy stories? The role reversal at the end with the rifle? I mean, that must have taken amazing long planning” I shook my head in impressed.

“I’m sorry if I went too far, I get very into the roleplay” I chuckle as I look at silent William. “I like to imagine… what it would feel like if I were really in that situation…” I inhale deeply. “And just…” I close my eyes and exhales. “Can I talk to you about the slapping?” I ask. William nods as he keeps looking at me. “Honestly, I would’ve liked a little bit more of it. I kept trying to goad you and goad you, but you really wouldn’t take the bait” I explain, excitedly.

“But that… the choke at the end, was that improvised?” I ask as I wrapped my neck with my hand. “Mmm-hmm” William hums and nods. “That was amazing!” I impressed. “Yeah, thanks…” William smiles. I stare at him and smile “You help me out of my problems, thanks Wil…” I say. William smile in silence as he keeps looking at me, I think he still surprised by anything that just happened between us.

I play pretend so good, he even believed me when I said that I’m not the woman who called him that day. Even though if he had my voice record as proof and we both already played the record at his house, he still believed in me, he believes in what I’ve said to him. "About Aleena, I don't like that name. You must find another name instead" I state. “Sorry, that name just comes out of my head that’s why I dropped it” He laughs.

“You know what, it’s reminded me of someone” I chuckle. “But don’t worry, I’m over it” I say. “Oh, wait…” William reaches over his back pocket. “Here’s your sim card” He gives me the sim card. “Oh, thanks!” I say as I take the sim card from him. “I gotta go…” I say, I make my way back to the car and about to get in, but before that, I turn around and lean myself on the car’s door “Thanks! See you around Wil…” I smile and get into the car.
