Hands wrapped around my waist and that causes me shocked “Jeez Christ!” I mumble. “Surprise…” Lena says as she put her chin on my shoulder. “Babe, what is it?” I ask, I’m looking at the dining table. “Let’s have a sit!” Lena says, removing her hands from my waist. She takes my hand with her. “Lena w…wait” I stutter, my hand holding hers. “What?” She raises an eyebrow as she looking at me. “My clothes” I say.

She chuckles as she looking at me, she tells nothing but drags me gently to the seat. I sit on the dining seat in confusion, Lena takes a shower robe inside the closet and gives it to me. “Thanks, it’s better than naked” I chuckle as I take the shower white cozy robe from her. Lena slide to the seat and she sit in front of me, a sweet smile come through her face as she keeps staring at me. “You fucking scared me, I thought something happens to you!” I say in dismay.

“That’s how I felt when Dmitri leaves you at the airport this evening, I’ll talk to him after this!” Lena says. Knowing Lena worried about me that makes me love her even more. I sit in front of her with a cozy white robe on my body, a city center of Paris view perfecting our night, the city light come through the window and accompany us. Lena reserved a private candlelight dinner for us in our room when I’m taking shower, I didn’t expect she will do something romantic like this.

I thought we’re going out somewhere, but this is the best of the best night I’ve ever had. Lena loves candles, she had a bunch of candle collections in our house. And tonight we had a nice dine candle on the table as a dinner companion, it smells like a rose. “I thought we’re going out” I laugh softly, a smile come through my face when I’m looking at the food and wine on the table. “That’s an old thing… and not romantic” She laughs.

“And tonight… I have something special for you” Lena takes my hand which rests on the table and caressing it gently. “Happy one-year anniversary babe… I love you so fucking much” She kisses the palm of my hand and smiles. How can I forgot our special day, this must be a mistake, or I probably too busy thinking about the illegal shit that I just in. I didn’t expect that someone like Lena could remember things like this.

Lena is the most narcissistic woman I’ve ever meet, she's might stubborn but she always has a way to makes me happy. I will memorize every moment that I had with her, every minute, every second in my life. Every breath she takes, every move she makes, every step she takes, I’ll always be by her side. “I love you too Lena” I say, staring deep into her eyes. My eyes sparking as I see a sweet smile come through Lena’s face.

I cup her cheek and caressing it gently, Lena puts her hand against my hand and feels my hand on her cheek as she closes her eyes. “I will always love you…” I whisper, tears about to come out of my face. “Alright then, here’s your special food ma’am” Lena run her hand close to my mouth and about to feed me. “Say aaaa…” She half opens her mouth as she looks at me. I open my mouth and eat the beef steak “It’s delicious!” I say as I chew the food.

Lena laughs softly as she shook her head, I could see the happiness on her face as she saw me smiling. We eat our food and talk about random things, I asked Lena about Dmitri but she didn’t answer that question. A tense face suddenly out of Lena’s face, I have no idea what’s wrong with her. “Babe, you okay?” I ask, holding her hand which rests on the dining table. “Hey, I’m good babe...” She says. “Are you sure?” I ask, caressing her hand.

“Yeah of course…” She heavily sighs. I understand and give her space cause I see Lena didn’t want to talk about it. I continue my food and occasionally looking at the city of Paris, admiring the beauty. Every time I look at the Eiffel Tower, it completely reminds me of myself. If I had an ego as big as the Eiffel Tower, I would definitely already marry Ben right now because I put my family’s happiness first than mine.

Lena grabs my hand, rubbing my knuckles over her thumbs, and that causes me to wake up from my thoughts, she takes something inside her bag “Now close your eyes please…” Lena says as she looks at me. I smile and close my eyes, wondering about what gift that she’ll give to me. “Now open your eyes babe” She says. I open my eyes slowly and I see Lena held a ring box in her hand “What is it babe?” I surprise.

Lena reaches my hand and she put the ring in my annulary “Happy anniversary babe…” She kisses the palm of my hand and smiles as she looks at me. “Oh Gosh, thank you so much… I didn’t…. I didn’t have something for you” I say with a slight of grief in my voice as I furrowing my forehead. “Mmm… being with you in here is the best gift ever” She says, cupping my cheek and caressing it gently.

“That’s bullshit” I chuckle then I smile as I hold her hand which rests on my cheek. “Let’s say if this ring will be our forever… It tied us till death do us part” A sweet smile comes through Lena’s face. It’s my pleasure to spend the rest of my life with her and I hope that can be true. I don’t think Lena proposing me tonight, she didn’t say any word besides that. But I’m so happy tonight, I’m happy because I finally found the love of my life.

Time passes slowly, the night feels like never ends. I think I’m ready to take Lena to meet my family, even though I have no idea what will happen if my mom finds out that I’m dating her. Lena suddenly reaches over my hand, she inhales deeply as she looks at me in tense “Maia… would you like to spend the rest of your life with me? I promise I will always love you till death do us part…” Lena says. “Maia, would you be my partner?” She asks with a tense on her face.

Tears come out of my eyes, go down to my cheeks. “Baby, hey… why are you crying?” Lena gets up from her seat and stands on her knees next to me. “Hey…” She wipes my tears. I can’t help but keep crying, I’m not crying because I’m sad, I cry because I’m happy. “Baby… I’m so sorry… if you’re not ready… I got it… let’s forget it” She says as she cups my cheek. I cry like a little kid who finds her lost toy in the park.

Tears keep come out of my eyes as I’m looking at Lena, a sweet smile comes through my face as tears keep falling from my eyes. “Of course Lena… of course” I sob. “What? I can’t hear you” She says. “I said yes… it’s my pleasure to spend the rest of my life with you” I say. “Is that yes?” Lena asks. “Yes, Lena yes!” I exclaim and laugh softly. She gets up her knees from the floor and hugs me in the dining seat, I get up from the seat and wrap my hands on her shoulders.

“Yes… I said yes…” I chuckle with tears in my eyes. Lena wipes my tears and smile, she runs her face close to me and kisses my lips gently. She wraps her hands on my waist and goes down to my ass, caressing it gently. “Babe, after we back to New York, everything will be different…” She says. “What do you mean?” I ask in dismay. Lena heavily sighs as she keeps hugging me “You know Egor?” She asks. “Yes… the man that we met in Thailand right?” I say.

“Yes… that one” She nods. “I cut myself from him today and now I need to set up my business back from zero” She starts. “He’s dangerous… and I don’t want you to deal with him, that’s why I set myself free from him because I don’t want him to mess our life, especially you babe… and you know… he’ll never stop mess me before he got what he wanted” Lena says. “W… what do you mean before he got what he wanted?” I stutter.

“That fucking pervert wanted me to fuck him and suck his dick from the beginning I joined this business” Lena scoffs. “Jeez fucking psycho…” I laugh softly. “Mmm… when I saw you with him in Thailand, I thought you like him” I wasn’t finished yet but Lena cut me off. “Jesus no! Hell no!” She scoffs. “You know… I’m the number one of pussy fanatic fans” Lena laughs softly. I raise an eyebrow and laugh “Hahaha… Jeez” I say.

“Yeah, I swear… babe…” She whispers as she looks at me. I gulp as I’m looking at her, she runs her face closer to me and starts kissing my lips, playing her tongue inside my mouth. I enter my tongue into her mouth and kiss her deeply. Her delicious breath makes me like the kiss even more, the food and wine breath from our candlelight dinner makes the kisses perfect, the city lights accompany our night. The city view watching us kissed like two little birds in the sky.

“Wait…” I off my lips from Lena and my hands still wrap on her shoulders. “I need to call Rosa and tell her about this” I smile. “W… what time in New York right now babe?” I ask. Lena chuckle “I have no idea honey” She says. I make my way to the bed and grab my phone at the bedside, I’m about to tell Rosa that Lena just proposed me tonight. Both Lena and I haven’t plan about marriage but for the first move, we tied each other with the ring and I’m so happy.
