The sunset accompanying us, people are getting ready to go home, the kids were tired, today is my first time spending time with my family and Lena. I sit on the mat under the tree while my eyes keep looking at Lena from distance, I couldn’t hear anything but I could see Lena’s mad face while she talked on the phone. Lena is probably hiding something from me, my heart trusts her but my mind isn’t telling the same. I just knew her… I know. This life, which is I’m choosing at least giving me happiness, and my happy place is Lena.

I wasn’t in the mood for anyone's problems but if Lena tells me everything I’ll hear her out. It’s kind of blind but I do really love her, from today and to the next life. “Hey… come here, help me with this” Rosa gave me the picnic basket. I take the picnic basket from Rosa and walk to the car with her. “Where’s Lena?” Rosa says. “She’s on the phone” I say while holding the basket. “It's pretty tough… ughh” I say while carrying the basket. “Hahaha… you are heavier than that” Rosa chuckle. “What do you mean?” I raise an eyebrow.

“Go ask Lena how tough you were when she’s carrying you” Rosa says. “Holly shit… can you please don’t compare all things to my 365 sex life” I say while rolling my eyes. “Ahahaha… I like those things” Rosa says. “Nope… your favorite thing is teasing me since I was born” I roll my eyes. “Damn… that’s true!” Rosa pinched my cheek and chuckle. “Aww…Stop” I say while touching my left cheek. “So how’s your sex life?” I say while looking at Rosa. “Ughh… bad… I’m so lonely this past week” Rosa sighs.

“How about the man that you found on the dating app?” I say. “I met him once but no sex” Rosa says. “Umm… I thought you need to find a boyfriend ASAP” I say while carrying the basket. “I’m working on it” Rosa says. “Mmm… that’s great” I say. Rosa and I arrive in the parking lot, my mom puts everything in the car, Abuelita is already sitting inside with little Alison in her hands. “Mom… here’s the basket” I give my mom the picnic basket. “Alrightttt….” My mom says while taking the basket from me and putting it in the car.

“All clear” My mom says. “Where’s Lena?” My mom asks me. “I’ll call her” I take the phone from my pocket, when I’m about to calls Lena, she’s already here. “Hey…” Lena says. “Gosh… where have you been?” I say. “I got urgent calls” Lena says. “Is that from the office?” I say. “Yeah…” Lena says. I could see Lena is lying to me, I have no idea what’s wrong with Lena but I’ll find out. We on our way home, Lena drives us home and I sit next to her. I could see Lena’s on edge face while I’m looking at her “Hey, you okay?” I say in a whisper.

Lena staring at me “I’m fine…” She says. “You sure?” I say in dismay. “Yeah…all good” Lena says. The silence of the night accompanying us, I reach my phone and stare at the phone screen “Jeez… It’s 8 PM” I mumbled. “What happened?” Lena says. “I had a lot of paperwork to do tonight” I say. Lena raises an eyebrow “Mmm… that’s kind of dirty” Lena says in a whisper. I roll my eyes “Shhh… Jeez!” I put my finger to my lips as a sign to Lena to hush, Lena chuckles. Her smiles remove all my tiredness, I keep looking at her until we got home.

“Alright… here we are” Lena says while parked the car. We get off from the car and take all the picnic things, Lena and I leave behind, all the family is already walk to the apartment. “Baby, what’s wrong?” I reach Lena’s hands and hold her hands. Lena sigh “Nothing happened babe, no worry” Lena smiles. “Listen… no matter what happens, I will always love you” I say. Lena stood in silence. “Hey! Listen” I say. Lena looking at me and smile, she says nothing. I run my hand to her cheek and touch it gently “Baby… look at me” I say while looking at her.

“What happened?” I say in dismay. Lena holds my hand and takes them with her, she kisses my hand and smiles “I do really love you Maia, and I always do” Lena says. “So do I …! Why you keep hiding things from me” I say in a high tone. “I’m not hiding anything!” Lena says in a high tone. I stare at her in silence. “Trust me” Lena says in convince. “Okay…” I say in a slow breath. Lena smiles and kisses my cheek. I stare at her and give her a little sweet smile. “Ahh… you’re so cute!” Lena says. I chuckle “Ahh… come on!” I say.

Lena and I walk to the apartment, Lena’s hand is on my shoulder… we walk together in hugging each other’s shoulder, honestly… I don’t trust Lena but why my heart keeps dragging me to her. The relationship between Lena and I is kind of rush, I don’t even know many things about her… how was her past life, her family, her friends, even though if she tells me about her past love story… I would like to hear everything about that. “What are you thinking babe?” Lena stares at me while we walk together.

“What! Do I look like think about something?” I say. “Kind of… you walk in silence… you don’t even look at me or give me a little cheek kisses” Lena raises an eyebrow. “Gosh… “ I say in a sigh, Lena chuckles. “Ahh… finally” I put my bag to the table and lean on to couch while Lena is closing the front door. “Mom!” I’m yelling. My mom comes from the kitchen “What happened?” She says. “I’m so hungry, can we please order some pizza tonight? Do you want some?” I say while turning back my head to my mom.

“I’m full… but can you spare some for midnight?” My mom says. “Sure” I say. Lena comes and sits next to me, she leans her hand to my shoulder. I stare at her with love in my eyes, Lena stares at me and smiles “Ah…Mi Amor…! don't ever look me like that” She says. I raise an eyebrow “What! Why are you suddenly speak Spanish?” I chuckle. “Umm… I love learning new things” Lena says as she raises an eyebrow. “Gosh… it’s kind of hot, come here” I say, I pull Lena’s neck and pointed it to my face then I kiss her.

“This is what I need right now” Lena says while bites her bottom lip. My mom suddenly come “Hey… I already ordered the pizza” She says. Lena and I sit in silence pretending nothing happened between us. “What?” My mom says questioning. “Nothing…” I say. My mom leaves us and walking to upstairs. “Jeez… thank God she didn’t see us” I say in a whisper, Lena laugh. “Why are you laughing like that!” I say. “This is funny” Lena chuckles.

“This is not funny! How if she finds out and pushes me to break up with you, you want that hah?” I say a little bit in anger as I highly raise my voice. Lena gets closer to me and holds my hand “Hey… relax, why are you acting like this since we got home? You lost all of your humor sense” Lena says. “The weather causes me a high temper I guess” I say. Lena stares at me and chuckles. I lean my head to Lena’s shoulder and sigh. “I’m starving” I say.

Lena stroking my hair “I know… me to babe” Lena says. I turn on the TV and we are waiting for the pizza. Someone rings the bell “Ughh… finally” I walk to the front door and take the pizza with me. “Here we are…” I say, I put the pizza on the table and lean on the couch next to Lena. We both eat pizza while watching movie together, we enjoy the moment. “Holly shit…” I put the pizza on the table. “What happened?” Lena says. “My paperwork!” I say in dismay. I run upstairs and leave Lena in the living room. “Jeez fuckin’ shit…!” I’m mumbling. I sit on the work desk and do my paperwork.

“Jeez…” I’m mumbling while clicking the computer. Lena comes and gets closer to me, she hugs me from behind “Hey… you came” I say. Lena put her chin to my shoulder “Ummm… yeah” She says. I smile and do my job. “I’m gonna clean myself, wanna join?” Lena says while runs her hand to my chest. “Nah… I’ll be there later, I have work” I say while staring at the computer screen. “Okayy….as you wish” Lena says then she leaves me and walks to the bathroom.

I keep doing my thing, Lena is clean herself and everybody sleeps. “Ugh…” Sighs me. Lena finished the shower and wears the sleepwear, a black short set with cleavage. Lena loves wearing black things, she loves wearing dark things. Lena lying on the bed and looking at me do my thing. “What are you doing babe? Is it kind of late for you to stay up?” I say while my eyes keep staring at the computer screen. “Umm… Nope, I’m scrolling Twitter right now” Lena says. “Uhh… finally” I save the file and turn off the computer.

I walk to the bed and threw myself on it. “You tired babe?” Lena says while stroking my back. I turn myself “Yeah… I’m so fuckin’ tired ughhh…” I say. Lena stares at me and stroking my hair with her left hand gently, I take Lena’s right hand and put the hand to my cheek. “Ughh… I love your soft hand” I kiss Lena’s hand. “Is that soft? I thought It’s like 50’s housewife hand” Lena chuckles. “Jeez babe…” I stare at Lena and chuckle.

“So… we’ll be in the same place tomorrow… and I wanna take you lunch tomorrow… just you and me, together…” Lena says while staring into my eyes. “Umm… I’ll think about it” I tease her. “Gosh…!” She’s tickling me. “Jeez… stop… Lena… stop… hahaha… jeez” I laugh loudly. “Awww… you like it... babe” Lena says while tickling me. I keep laughing and laughing… “Baby stop” I say.

Lena stares at me “Is that turn you on babe?” She says in a slow breath. “Hell no! Pervert…” I chuckle. Lena and I stare into each other’s eyes… “I like spending time with you” I say while running my hand to Lena’s cheek. Lena smiles “Me too…” She says. Lena reaches her phone at the bedside and staring at the phone screen, Lena's face suddenly changed. “You okay?” I say. Lena keeps staring at the phone screen and tells nothing. I run my hand to her hand and touch it “Lena” I say.

“Everything’s fine!” She says with a high tone and a little bit anger. She lay down facing the right bedside next to me and covered herself with the blanket. I get closer to her and stroking her shoulder, she closing her eyes and pretending to sleep. I kiss her forehead and stroking her cheek “Good night babe…” I say. I move and lay down facing the left bedside, we slept with our backs to each other. I could felt that Lena is lying to me, she’s hiding something…
