I love your sweet smile more than I love the coffee smells in the morning. Let me wake up next to you forever, have coffee in the morning and wander through the city with your hand in mine and I'll be happy for the rest of my fucked up little life. My day starts next to you in your arms… nothing can be enough to tell you how much I love you. Staring at you when I woke up next to you makes me happy, I couldn’t ask more. “Hey… good morning sleepy bird” I say in a raspy voice.

“Gooddd morninggg babyy” Lena stares at me and smiles. “Is it me or we woke up early today?” I say in a slow breath. “Ugghhh… lemme check my phone” Lena reaches her phone on the bedside. “It’s 6 AM babe” Lena says while staring at the phone screen. I yawn and stretching my body “How sweet the morning air is! See how that one little cloud floats like a pink feather from some gigantic flamingo” I say while pointing to the window. “Wow… but not sweet as you!” Lena stares at me and stroking my hair gently.

“Ummm… I couldn’t agree more” I say. Lena chuckled, her sweet smiles drown me. Rosa knocking our room “Girls…. Wake up!” She says. “Damn Rosa it’s 6 AM” I’m yelling. I walk and opened the door “What happened?” I say in a raspy voice. “It’s Sunday… it’s family time” Rosa says. “I’ll be downstairs” I say. I walk to the bed and threw myself “Ughhh…” I mumbled. Lena moves herself and stroked my back with her hand “Hey… let’s go downstairs” She says.

I turn back myself and stare at Lena “Mmm… I would like to spend my time only with you…” I say. Lena chuckle “Family time is best of the best time ever” Lena says then she kisses my forehead. “Umm… you were right” I say. I walk downstairs, Lena is still upstairs. I heard Rosa and my mom talking about spending time picnic at the park today. I made my way down all 25 stairs and walk into the kitchen. “Hey! Morning everyone” I say while opening the fridge and grabs some fruit.

“Morning honey” My mom says while busy with the food. I walk to my mom and get closer to her “So… what are we gonna do today?” I say while bites the apple. “We spend the day picnic at the park today, a family picnic” My mom says. I get closer to my mom “How about Lena?” I say in a whisper. “She’s family too… of course she’s joining us” My mom says. I smile and stare at Rosa, Rosa stares at me and raises an eyebrow, Is a win-win for me.

I walk to the living room with an apple in my hand, when I got there I saw my beautiful girlfriend was talked and laughed with my dear Abuelita. “Hey hey what’s makes you guys so happy today?” I say then I sit down on the couch. “It’s a family discussion” Abuelita says. “Jeez… nana, I’m your favorite!” I say. “Guess she has the new one” Lena says in a whisper. Lena and Abuelita stare at each other and chuckle. “It’s unfair!” I threw myself to the couch and lean on it.

“Nothing to be worried about babe, we just talk about some random things” Lena runs her hand to my neck and stroking it gently. “Ummmm…” I say then I bite the apple. Lena stares at me with love in her eyes. “What? You want it?” I say then I give her the apple. “Ah no no” Lena says. “So why you looking at me like that, like you really want to steal and bite the apple” I say while chewing the apple. Lena gets closer to me and whispering to my ear “All I wanted to steal this morning is those pretty wet lips and the apple inside that” Lena says.

“Jeez Christ, Lena…” I say, then Lena chuckles. “Time for breakfast ladies…” My mom yells from the kitchen. “Finally...” Abuelita mumbled and get up from the couch. We walk to the kitchen and sit together, Lena is next to me. Rosa serves the food and we had breakfast together. “Wow…Mrs. La Luna, this is the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten” Lena says while chewing the food. “Awwww…. Thank you Lena, I appreciate your compliment, even though my kids hate my foods” My mom says happily.

Lena stares at me and says “Really?” She shrugs. I’m grinning “That’s unbelievable” I say. “Yeah… that’s not true” Rosa says. My mom chuckles and eats her food. “You know… my mom is a bad cooker but I do really love her food” Lena says. “Really ?” I say while chewing the food. “Yeap… my mom is always busy with her job cause we live in a difficult life at that time and every morning she cooked me a burnt food, sometimes salty food.

Then I told her ‘Mom can we eat better food sometimes or eat at the restaurant’ I said then my mom answers me with her Jews accent ‘If you don’t like my food that’s okay, Mazel Tov! But now you need to eat and go to school, make me proud and be successful, then we can eat the most delicious food together oneday, Okay!’ She said... Those the only words that I can well remember and that makes me so excited to go to school everyday and work hard till now” Lena says.

Tears are about to come out of my eyes “Oh my God…” I say. “That’s a beautiful story Lena and I got emotional sometimes” Rosa says with tears in her eyes. “So, where’s your mom now Lena?” My mom asks Lena. “She lived in the other town” Lena says. “She should be here sometimes, I’ll show her the city and go shopping together” My mom says. “That’s a great idea and I'm absolutely in” Abuelita says while chewing the food. “I’ll tell her later” Lena says.

I stare at Lena and hold her hand under the dining table, Lena gives me a sweet smile. We finished the breakfast and then we prepare ourselves. Lena and I take a shower together, I leave before her and preparing myself. “Babe… Hurry! You spend 1 hour just soaking your tits” I’m yelling from the bedroom. Lena laughs and says “It’s better if you soaked mine”. “Hell no! Perver” I laugh. Lena leaves the bathroom and walks closer to me. I stood in front of the mirror while brushing my hair “Wow… you came quickly” I say.

Lena standing behind me and take her hands on my hip. “Well… when my beautiful girlfriend calls me I have no choice but to come” Lena says while putting her chin to my shoulder. I turn myself back and put my hands on her shoulder “Why are you so sweet today?” I say while staring at her. “Well… it’s my first time spending time with you and your family. Nothing can make me happier than this” Lena says while running her hands to my back. “It’s a win-win” I say then I raise an eyebrow.

Rosa comes to our room and yelling at the door “Hey high school Sapphic students! Hurry up it's almost noon, we need to find the right place before everyone fills the park” Rosa says. “Alright be there in 5 minutes” I say. Lena and I stare into each other’s eyes, “Alright… time to go” Lena says. I chuckle and say “Ay Ay Captain”. Lena and I walk downstairs, I’m wearing a summer dress because it’s kinda hot today and Lena is wearing a basic black t-shirt and hot pants. “We’re here!” I say.

Lena leaves and helping my mom moving all the food to the car meanwhile, Rosa is holding little Ali in her hands. Abuelita and I walk to the parking lot and watch everyone do their job. “Is that just me or It’s kinda hot here” I say. Abuelita stares at me “What kind of hot do you say?” She says. “The weather” I say. “Oh… I thought the girl who stood there” My grandma says while pointing her mouth to Lena. “Jeez, nana!” I say while putting my hand to my head. My grandma chuckles and leaves, she gets into the car and Lena is helping her.

“Hey! Hurry” Lena says, I run to the car and get in. Lena drives, my mom is sitting next to her in the front seat. Meanwhile, Rosa and Abuelita sit next to me in the back seat. “Wow… it’s a great day” My mom says while staring at the windshield. “Yeah a great day to smoke weed” My grandma says in a whisper. Rosa and I chuckle. My mom moves her head to the back “Mommm” She says. “Why? Everybody loves weed” Abuelita says. My mom shook her head meanwhile Lena is focusing her eyes on the street.

We finally arrive at the park, there are so many people here. The sunny day makes everyone happy. People spending their time with the family, the one they love, kids. We walk around the park and we found a great spot for us under the tree. Lena spread the mat, my mom put the food on it meanwhile, I’m looking around the park and watch all the kids running and plays together. “Hey, do you just stood there or join us?” Rosa says. “Jeez sorry, I watched the kid plays for my own enjoyment” I sit on the mat with my family and the person that I love, what a great day.

We talk and laugh, my mom holding little Ali and walking around the park. Rosa is lie down herself “Ughh… what a great day for me to tan my skin” She says. “You already tanned” I say while sipping the cold strawberry juice. Lena stares at me and chuckles. “What!?” I stare at Lena. “Nothing…” Lena says. “Gosh…! Are you seeing someone?” I say. Rosa raises an eyebrow. “Wow… that’s what was I thought!” I say. Rosa chuckles. “Who is he?” I say. “Well…” Rosa gets up and takes her phone inside the bag.

“Come here” Rosa says. Rosa shows me the man’s picture on her phone “Wow…he’s hot with those six-pack” I say. Lena sigh and raise an eyebrow, Rosa pointing her mouth to Lena. I’m looking at Lena “Jeez… babe! Are you jealous?” I say. “Nope” She says briefly while sipping the cold strawberry juice then look away. I get closer to her and lean myself to her thigh “Abuelita see! She’s mad at me” I chuckle. “Well, if I were her I’ll be mad too, but considering that I’m hot as fuck… hell I better fuck someone else after home” My grandma says.

“Jeez Abuelita!” I say. Then they laugh. “Why are you guys ganging up on me” I say. “Hahaha… we’re not but yeah perhaps” Lena says. “Babe!” I say in a high tone. “You know… when I worked outside and the weather reminds me of you same as now” Lena says. “Why?” I say while staring at Lena. “Because it’s hot” Lena says. “Damn” I say, Lena chuckle. “Ahh… come here” I’m pulling Lena’s hair gently and kiss her lip. “You guys are so fit into each other” Rosa says. “Couldn’t agree more” My grandma staring at us and smile.

Lena and I stare into each other’s eyes. Then my mom came “Jeez the sun burnt me” She says. Rosa takes little Ali from my mom, my mom sits next to us. “Why are you so upset mom?” I say. “Gosh… I’m about to buy some ice cream for us but the ice cream man sold all the chocolate flavor, even there’s no strawberry there. Mint only! You know that all of us hate mint, how about you Lena? Do you like mint?” My mom says.

“Umm… I also hate mint” Lena says. “Thank god! You’re the part of the family” My mom says. Abuelita stares us and raises an eyebrow. “You guys seem like a good friend” My mom says. Rosa covering her mouth and tried to not laugh. “Mmm… I don’t think so” Abuelita says. I scratch my head and say nothing, Lena smile in silence. “What do you mean mom?” My mom asks my grandma. “I mean they probably more than friends” My grandma says.

“Yeah… best friend!” Rosa says while pointing us with her finger excitedly. “OooH! Best friend” My mom nodded her head. We enjoyed our day together as a family, my mom accepting Lena as our new family member and I’m so happy about that. Lena suddenly leaves us with the phone in her hands, someone may call her because I felt the vibration of Lena’s phone, I could see Lena’s terrified face when she left us and that makes me curious...
