I couldn’t sleep at night because my brain keeps thinking of Lena and I am so worried for her. She broke my friend’s arm and it makes me feel sad knowing that she changes to become someone that I don’t even know. I was resting myself on my bunk and about to take a little nap before I visits B block. Z gets better day by day, she already off her sling yesterday. I’ve been taking care of her since last week Lena breaking her arm at court.
It’s also been a week I haven’t seen Lena since I met her that day. I really mad at her because she tortured this woman because she wanted to hurt me. I know that I am an asshole because I left her that day and put myself first because I didn’t want to drag myself deeper into her dangerous stuff, but it doesn’t mean she can hurt my friend to torture me. I have already told Z that Lena is my ex-girlfriend and I already apologized for everything.
Instead of hating me, Z tries to understand me and tells me if this is not my fault. The only bad person in here is me because I hurt Lena and take an advantage of Z during my pathetic depression phase in prison. “Ughhh shit” I groan and turn around to the right side, facing the prison wall in front of me. My mind keeps thinking of Lena and I miss her so much, I really want to talk to her but she hated me.
I haven’t heard anything from Ben and it’s been three weeks since I’ve spent my day in prison. I don’t want to think of him for now because my brain data space is full of Lena stuff. I have no idea what happened to Lena when I left her and I am so sorry for everything she has been through that time, that must be rough days, and I am so sorry for not being able to be with her when her mother’s died.
I’ve known and loved Lena for well over decades, through this pain I couldn’t stop thinking of her and how could I have not being able to hug or kiss her anymore. It made me realize how much I miss her and how much I still love her. I cannot lie to myself or hiding my feeling on my own, it’s hard to act that way and hurts. Everything was a distraction and everything I’ve done in these past five years is just a self-distraction from my guilt.
Going back to Ben is not what I wanted, or hooking up with girls either not what I wanted. Being with Lena is what I wanted for decades and going back to the day I left her is my wish. If only I could back, I would definitely change my mind and not leaving her. But it happened, and I cannot back to the past. I chuckle to myself when my eyes keep looking at the prison wall as I remember our trip to Lena's mom's house together.
Lena and I visited her mother in California. She had driven for 42 hours and that was the longest tiring trip we’ve ever had. Lena and I choose to not buying flight tickets at that time, that’s not because we don’t have money, we had a lot of money at that time as everyone knows. We choose to drive to California to enjoy our long trip and spent more time together, just the two of us. That was such a really fun trip and the happiest day in my life.
We driven to her mom’s house in her red two-seater convertible Ferrari, Lena was still a drug queen at that time and I have no idea if she still dealing with those stuff till now. I remembered when she telling me that she really wanted to buy that car and shows the bullies she had in school and earn enough to repay her mom for all she has done for Lena, the love of my life. “Mmm I love this car” She hummed as she put the roof down and we almost reach the house.
Lena was in a really good mood at that time. “You see babe! I finally can show those bitches that I can live better than them. I swear to God, they’re probably put their face down to ground” She chuckled, her face looked happy. “I am really proud of you babe, you got this” I smiled, cupping her cheek with my hand. “Mmm your hand smells good” She sniffed the palm of my hand. “We smelled bad, Lena. And we haven’t take a shower in two days” I responded.
“I scratch my ass with this last night! Look! Now I’m scratching different parts!” I scratched my neck to my back. “Smell it, smell it!” I hang my hand to her. “Mmmm it still smells good though” Lena smelled my hand. “Ewwww gross!” I groaned. “What!? I love how your smell babe. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t shower in a week. I still liked it, a lot!” She hummed as she closes her eyes and shook her head.
“Mmmm you’re such a nuts girlfriend!” I replied. “Whatttttt!? I am nuts?” She chuckled. “Yeah, of course you are!” I laughed softly. “B-but… I love it when you’re acting that way” I ended. “Ughhhh… come here” Lena pulled my neck closer to her, she kissed my lips after. “We haven’t brushed our teeth in 42 hours too hehehe” I chuckled. “Even better” She laughed softly as she kept points her eyes to mine.
“Watch out! We’re not gonna crash and die” I chuckled. “Oh, hahaha” She laughed and she removed her gaze from me. “I know you’re my ride and die, but I don’t want to end our story like that” I chuckled. “Mmmm I prefer to drown in your cum” She replied. “Ewww hell no! That’s nuts and… tasty!” I raised my brow as I pointed my gaze at Lena and smirked. “Yeah, I'll die with the tastiest poison in my mouth” She responded.
“Oh, I’m not gonna die! I’m gonna fly to haven! Please accept me, God… I’m the happiest person alive!” Lena hummed. I left a soft laugh as my eyes kept looking at driving Lena next to me. That was the most bittersweet memory in my life and seeing Lena smile making me so happy that day. “Babe, is it fine for us to not bring anything for your mom? I mean, we’re driving so long and not brought anything for her? That’s embarrassing and it’s my first time seeing her either” I started.
“I thought we have to bring her some chocolates and flowers or wine?” I end. “Mmm that’s a good idea, honey! My mom would love it…” She replied with smiles on her face, leaning in for a kiss. I kiss her back and smiled as we waited for the green traffic light. “I had some friends who sell those stuff, we’re gonna drop there before we reached my mom’s house, it’s not far from here. We’ll reach the house in few minutes either” She ended.
“Well, okay baby, as you say…” I responded and chuckled. Lena and I drove to the store after I suggested, we stop at the store and off from the car after. “It’s my old friend's store, he must be surprised!” She said excitedly as she closed the car’s door. I laughed softly and made my way closer to her. Lena pulled my waist and placed her hand on my shoulder, we’re going into the store after. “Cling cling” The doorbell store sounds.
“Huk… hmm” Lena cleared her throat as she stood in front of the cashier section. “Huh, I heard you had the most precious rose in town, give me one please!” She said, changing her voice. I was scanning for the chocolates not far from them and busy scanning for the best chocolates in town. “W-wait! Give me a second” He responded. Lena turned around and gazed at me, she chuckled as she looked at me at the chocolate section, Lena wears a cap, so no one notices her.
“Okay, here they are! Pick what you think nice” The man said, he placed the roses on the cashier. “Well, I think I will pick this one. My buddy loves to give me these roses when I was 14” Lena said. “Aleena?” The man surprised, his jaws are about to drop. Lena takes off her cap and chuckled “Surprise!” She laughed softly. “Damn, Aleena! I know that was you” He quickly hugged Lena. “I miss you, bro!” Lena hugged him back.
“It’s been a long time ago since you’re back in town! Where have you been, dude?” He asked with smiles on his face, he's still surprised. “Hahaha I’ll visit my mom's house so I dropped here before I went there, I really miss you, Miles!” She responded. “I miss you too, buddy!” He hugged Lena once again. I carried a lot of chocolates for Lena’s mom and some snacks for us. I made my way to the cashier with food in my hands.
“It’s my girlfriend, Maia” She introduced me to Miles. “Wow, gorgeous!” He said. I dropped the food at the cashier and grinning. “Hey, nice to meet you!” I shook his hand. “Nice to meet you, Maia! I’m Miles” He said. “So, how long you’ll stay here, Lena? It took 42 hours at least, to get here!” He asked. “I’m not staying here for a long time, Miles. It’s probably just a night… Work is waiting” She responded with a few chuckled.
“You have to cage this woman, Maia! She’s the charming girl in town, girls like her so much!” Miles said. I raised my brow and chuckled “Well, thought I have to cuff her tonight” I laughed softly. “Well, that’s a good idea!” He chuckled. Lena rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She’s staring at Miles with a raised brow after. “Hahaha don’t worry Maia. She’s not that kind of woman” He chuckled. “She may be cute, Maia” He started.
“But she cannot find someone to date in high school” He ended. “Ughh shut up Miles!” Lena groaned, I left a few chuckled after. Then I grabbed the grocery bags with me and about to leave them. “Uh, I have to put these things first. I’ll be waiting in the car, babe” I said. “Okay!” Lena replied. “It’s good to meet you Miles” I smiled. “Same goes to me, Maia” He responded. I carried the bags with me and made my way to the car after, leaving Lena inside the store.
