Chapter 233: Chapter 233

Chapter 233

~Ella tells more lies~

The police snorted, dimmed his eyes and tapped on the table in contemplation. He cast a stare upon Ella who at the time was sniffing and sighing in reaction to the pang of guilt that hit her in the head.

“First I would have to know if those sneakers belong to your husband,” the police asked Ella as he and Coleman shot their stare into her face, waiting for answers.

Ella gritted and sniffed putting herself under caution to be mindful of her words and ensure she wouldn’t be implicated by her reply. If she needed to be cautious in her life it was now because any mistake she made would implicate her and Brian.

“Um…” she said, swallowed hard, bowed her head, and stole a glance at Coleman and the police who were interestingly staring at her to know what reply she would give; as though her reply would bring her husband back to life.

“I could remember the pair of sneakers was among the collections he bought in his last visit to Rome. Although I wouldn’t tell which of them he had on before leaving the house that morning, but I am sure the sneakers belong to my husband,” she replied coldly , fondling with her fingers not shyly but fearfully and scared of the next question the police might ask her.

The police shut his eyes briefly grinned and shook his head thoughtfully.

“What was he putting on the day he left home? Can you recall?” the police asked, motioning his hand at her to see if she could recall any. “W really need to know if he is still somewhere breathing or he is gone for life.”

She knew the clothes her husband was putting on the moment Brian clubbered his head to a blooded pop. She could tell he was putting on a T-shirt , a jeans and a pair of sneakers , but she wouldn’t want to reveal it in its entirety . She wouldn’t want the police and Coleman to believe she knew everything about her husband, even though she was supposed to know. She would have to give a false reply that would make them believe she knew partly about everything.

“Yeah I could only recall those sneakers. The sneakers were the only pair I saw on his feet that morning. At the time I was asleep and could barely know what cloths he had on but I am sure of the sneakers. He had advanced to my side, stamped a kiss on my sleepy face and said he was embarking on a business trip that was all,” she said, smacked her lips and bowed her gaze from the police who was busy staring into her bust and face.

She knew the police was struggling with lusting after her bust yet trying to do his job in any way he could. And if not for the presence of Coleman, she sensed the police would have pressed her head in the sofa and given her a quickie from the backside.

“Um… I am sorry Mrs. Fred but you know, the response you will give us would go a long way to bring your husband back home,” The police said, penned down something on a piece of paper and retuned his gaze on her bust before trying to look into her eyes. “Were you having a fight with him? I mean any history of quarrel prior to his disappearance?”

Coleman dimmed his eyes thoughtfully and the piece of paper with a written note he saw in the novel, SEIZING TIME which he collected from her a few days ago came on his mind. He could comfortably say that Ella and his cousin weren’t t enjoying a peaceful sexual life. He could pinpoint that she was having a fight with his cousin over sex. Obviously he wasn’t sexually satisfying her in her kind of way and she had confronted him over it only to end up in a quarrel and a fight. It was evident in the written note which she penned down.

My husband can’t give me wild and steamy sex- Ella

The written note resounded in his mind and he wondered if wild and steamy sex were the only kind of sex that satisfied her most and if her husband wasn’t giving it to her.

What happened afterwards?

Did they quarrel over it?

Did he succumb and start giving her wild and steamy sex?

Was there any further action or even that played out afterwards?

Did her husband flee for not being able to give her wild and steamy sex?

He needed answers to those questions and wished by coincidence the police could ask her questions relating to the written note he saw in the book. As much as he knew Ella and her husband weren’t having a fulfilled sexual life. YES

She shook her head. “We have been living happily and never for once got a heated argument or fight that could make him flee. He has been a loving caring husband…”

And she was yet speaking when the police cut in, “And you? Have you been a caring wife?” he asked.

She shook her head, “Yes of course. My husband is my everything and I am the best thing that has ever happened to him. He had reminded me that several times. I can’t recall making life a living hell for my husband,” she lied, and diverted her gaze from the police who was initiating an eye contact.

“Mrs. Fred,” the police called, leaving her wondering over the emphatic tone in his voice and what he was about asking next. “if you don’t mind, can you tell me what your sexual life with your missing husband is like?”

Coleman raised a brow and widened his gaze at the police, wondering how he got to know the questions that had lingered in his mind all along. With eagerness gathering upon his face, he glared at Ella to know what she was going to reply, since he got a glimpse of what their sexual life looked like from her secret written note.

“We had the best sexual life you could ever think of couples.” she replied and frowned at the thought of guilt that hit her .

And Coleman was shocked as his brow furrowed into chisel. Instantly he knew there was something Ella was yet to tell them. And obviously something was fishy.

“I am going to miss that part of him,” she added and threw her gaze from Coleman and the police.

A shocker was about to happen…
