“Who is that?” Kate asked staring through the window pane as Mary accompanied Frank to the car.

Both girls were at the window, staring at Mary and Frank.

My mom is in love again. That is Doctor Frank, my mom’s crush,” replied Eva, staring aa s frank paused to hold Mary on the face.

“Will they be getting married?” asked Kate, who was disturbed by the thought of revealing to Eva she had been seeing her mother with tony, and possibly they were dating too.

“That is one answer I don’t have right now,” replied Eva , griming and smiling at what she was about saying, “I think she can go ahead and marry him. I like this man. To be honest with you, baby girl I have never approved of someone at first sight. From the moment I saw that man, I knew he was the one meant for my mom and he was going to make her happy,” she added.

“ Is it because he is a medical doctor?” Kate asked gently and inwardly agreed to reveal to Eva what Mary and Tony had been up to. It wouldn’t be easy on her side to reveal such information to Eva but she got to do it regardless because if Eva got to find out she had known about Tony and her mom all along she would never forgive her and worst of it would be that she would lose her trust.

“Not really . I just have like his person. Besides don’t we have medical doctors that are assholes and gold diggers? Doctor Frank is collected and responsible. He looks like one badass lover that can melt your snow with his bare foot. Can’t you see, sweetie?”

They were as calm as light as they watched Frank stamp a kiss on Mary’s lips for a lengthy couple of minutes with their hands clenched together beside them.

“They are really in love,” Kate whispered.

“Yes just like us,” Eva said and shot a stare at Kate and Kate stared back at her.

Kate wondered how she was fated to be in love with same sex like Eva , after her ordeal in the hands of Tony. Yes, she could even confirm she had forgotten all about Brian , whom she felt could be married now.

“Where are they going?” Kate asked.

Eva’s attention was brought back to Mary and Frank who had hopped into the car and started driving slowly out of the compound and finally halting at a dark spot on the street.

“They are lovers and are free to go anywhere and do anything,” said Eva as they watched on.

The light that had been shining all along in the car suddenly went off.

Mary didn’t know what language to use in telling frank that she wanted him so much now. She had been fascinated at Eva accepting him into their family. And it was time to see what he would bring on.
