Chapter 148

~I will make life miserable for you~

“Dad where is mom?”

Blueeyes had been hounding Ken all through their flight back to California. Only once had Ken replied him and decided within himself he wasn’t going to reply him again. But nothing could be so disturbing and annoying like a child who was hell-bent on getting his heart desires. Blueeyes was just worse than a pest to him; and when he noticed his father was giving him the cold shoulders, he decided to keep mute and scowl his face for the troubles ahead.

Regrettably to Ken, Blueeyes kept a long face, rejected the meal that was offered to him by the air hostess and made up his mind not to say a word to his father again, even when Ken gave him a wink, a bright face and cleared his throat to catch his attention, he never showed interest for any form of discussion again.

When they got home, Mrs. Fanny wasn’t around, and he wondered the sky she would pull down if she got know he brought his son home. As soon as Blueeyes walked through that door, it dawned on him that he was in another world now, far away from his mother, especially when he beheld the picture frame of Mrs. Fanny on the shelf, and another one where Ken was smiling next to her.

“Who is that bitch?” Blueeyes asked arrogantly pointing at the picture and Ken stared at him with flaming eyes and hostile face.

“What did you just call her?” Ken grunted, adjusting to Blueeyes with his palms wide spread to give him a spank.

“A bitch,” he retorted, “She is not your wife. She is not my mom. She is a mistress, and every mistress is a bitch, because they reap where they didn’t sow,” he affirmed as his chin dropped in anger, recognizing the fury that built on the face of Ken, and his fate of getting it hot from him now or in future. Nevertheless, he came prepared.

Ken was standing before him now, dumbfounded yet boiling up in his head with his hands tied to give him a spank. He squatted to him gradually and his face grinned at him with stilled reddened eyes, already putting Blueeyes under discipline.

“I am short of words and what to do you right now. But I just want to let you know that you are grounded from school until you write me a tangible apology. And lastly; I am not going to fulfill your third wish of marrying your mom.”

Blueeyes cut in, “No big deal, dad, I will be a sit-at-home boy and I haven’t planned to stay here for too long, so there is no need for the school. As for mom, you have no option than to marry her.”

“Oh really, OK, we are going to see about that, since you are the groom,” Ken’s eyes bulged out in surprise as he watched Blueeyes’ lips run like a spoilt tap of water set to run freely.

“I am not going to stand here and bicker words with you,” Ken replied, “Your second punishment is you are grounded from shopping, attending birthday parties, and picnic until I see your apology letter.”

“Good riddance, dad, already California sucks. I can’t wait to be the home alone domestic pet. Can you please show me to my room?” he said to Ken, and clenched on his bag.

Ken indecisive about what punishment to met out to him again, waved at him, “This way,” he said and led the way while Blueeyes trudged behind him.

Pointing to a room, Ken said, “This is going to be your room until I decide on what to do with you,” he kept at his frown, paused his lips in rage as he peered down to Blueeyes.

His head shook while she spoke, “I don’t get it. Am I some piece of sacrifice or what Why would you say that?” he inquired, “What do you want to do with me, dad?”

Ken’s hands came on his waist as he barked at his son. “How I wish I could use you for some sacrifice, I would be very glad. With the way your mouth runs at your elders and your annoying attitude, I wouldn’t mind to use you as dead sacrifice.”

He cut in quickly, “No I would prefer a living sacrifice,” Ken raised his brow at him, and bulged his eyes, “which ever you choose, you are a sacrifice anyways. Now get into your room,”

Blueeyes winked at him, heaved on the handle of the door, went inside and slammed it with great sadness, before he winked at his new environment. “New beginning,” he said.

Ken let a breath of freedom, stared at the ceiling and shook his head. For one bit he was already regretting taking Blueeyes along. He should have left him in New York, even when he knew it was far too much a risk to leave him all to himself.

“This kid inspires headache and troubles. Jacy can’t train this child to my satisfaction,” he murmured within himself as he walked away.

It was almost night fall when Mrs. Fanny drove into the compound with two swift sound of the horn from her car. And Blueeyes sprang to his feet, peered through the window pane and caught sight of Mrs. Fanny getting some stuff from the trunk of the car.

“This must be the bitch that has been confusing dad like a merry-go-round,” Blueeyes whispered within himself, controlled the blinking of his eyes so he could have a perfect view of her face, “You made dad to hate mom like virus. You are happy while mom lives at the edge of sadness all her life just because you distracted dad from showing us love. I am going to make you pay for this. You are going to cry double of what mom cried and as long as I remain in this house, I will make life miserable for you,” he said, clicked his finger at her and shot his frown…
