Tithy's P.O.V.

Waking up from sleep, I got out of the room. I thought Api would be in kitchen but when I didn’t find her but kaki, I started walking towards her room. I was about to knock on the door but stopped thinking, she might be tired otherwise she generally didn't sleep till this time.
I turned to leave deciding I will help Kaki in the kitchen but something bothered me and I turned to a room. With steady steps, I forwarded towards that room where light was on.
As soon as I entered the room, something came to my mind but I couldn’t figure it out.
There were many pictures in the room. I kept roaming my eyes over the pictures and got stopped at some point when I was in front of a big picture of a girl. The girl was smiling in that picture but I got my eyes teary as I kept staring at that.
The face of the girl seemed very familiar to me and when I tried to remember where I might have seen her, I started feeling headache.
Nonetheless I kept thinking about that staring at the picture.
I didn’t get to know how long I was like that until I saw Ruhaan Vai uttering sadly, “Titly.. Tithy?”
Pointing at the picture, I asked him, “Who is the girl of this picture?”
Turning to the picture, he uttered with a little bit of smile, “Titly, my little sister.”
Seeing him smiling, I also smiled a little and spoke up, “She seems quite familiar to me. I am getting a feeling like I know her very well but I am not being able to remember seeing her anytime.”
Saying that, I again started trying to remember something. I couldn’t get to remember that but I could feel the damn headache starting to come back.
Right then, I felt a touch on my head and when I looked up, Vai spoke up, “It’s okay. You don’t need to remember her as now you are Titly to me.”
I didn’t know what gotten into me but I just hugged him while sobbing.
Roshni's P.O.V.
After prayer, I again got on the bed to get some sleep only to wake up after having a dream. Remembering the dream, a smile crept on my lips but at last part tears came out of my eyes.
While thinking what should I do then if it really takes me to that point, I got near the guest room where Ammi and Titly were sleeping.
I entered the room silently to find Ammi sleeping on the bed only. I uttered under my breath, “Where did Titly go!” and got out of the room.
I was about to go downstairs but stopped hearing someone talking and turned towards that direction.
Then I forwarded towards that room only to get shocked as Titly was there in her room and even in front of her very own picture.
I got startled more when all of a sudden Titly hugged Ruhaan while crying and Ruhaan also hugged her while patting her back.
I felt like I was living that dream. Seeing Ruhaan and Titly like that, a smile crept on my lips only to get faded away as I remembered the last part of my dream.
Being afraid, I turned to leave but got stopped as Titly uttered, “Api?”
I was thinking whether I should leave pretending I didn’t hear her but my mind interrupted my thought as it started chiding, “It’s time to face the reality, Roshni.”
Giving in to my inner self, I turned to her but I couldn’t wipe off the fear from my face.
I couldn’t bring myself to look at Titly rather kept my head down.
Though Titly got near me and spoke up in a concerned tone, “Api? Why are you like this? What happened?”, I couldn’t find anything to say.
Ruhaan might have sensed something as he spoke up diverting the topic, “Roshni, is breakfast ready? I am feeling very hungry.”
“I was about to go to prepare something.” I uttered in lower tone and he spoke up again, “Okay you go. I will be downstairs after taking a quick shower and Titly, you also should get ready. We have an early morning meeting today, remember?”
“Okay.”, saying this, Titly left from there and when I saw Ruhaan coming towards me, I left the place before he could ask me something and went towards the kitchen.
After sometime, Ruhaan came to the kitchen but before he could say something, Titly came and spoke up, “I am ready, Vai.”
Ruhaan's P.O.V.
When Titly hugged me all of a sudden, I got dumbstruck. After sometime getting hold of myself, I hugged her back.
Seeing her staring at our family picture with teary eyes, my eyes got teary also and I kept patting her back.
After sometime she let go of me and uttered, “I am sorry. I didn’t know what happened to me.”
When I spoke up, “It’s okay sweetie.”, she smiled a little. Hearing a sound, we turned towards the door and found Roshni leaving from there.
Before I could call her, Titly uttered, “Api?”
Roshni stopped but didn’t turn to us immediately and when she turned after a while, she was looking at the floor as if she was afraid to face someone. But whom!
I tried to ask her but couldn’t as she left right after Titly left the room.
After breakfast, along with Titly, I left for office. When the meeting got finished, I thought of visiting Roshni and making a excuse of meeting a client, I left my office and forwarded towards Roshni’s office.
Arriving at the office, I immediately got down from my car and was about to enter the office but stopped hearing some sound. Turning back, I searched for the sound source
Two young men were fighting. Seeing that, I rushed there only to find Tamim fighting with a man whose face was almost covered with blood.
Getting near, I just uttered with mix of emotions, “Tamim!” and hearing my voice, his hand was stopped midway while beating but Tamim kept glaring at that person.
I followed his gaze and when I looked at that person carefully, I recognised him at once and my blood just boiled up remembering a past incident.
The man once tried to assault Titly. Tamim and me beat him terribly that time and handed him over to police.
Getting loose from Tamim's grip, he somehow fled from there getting more frightened.
Being somewhat normal, I spoke up sarcastically in cold tone, "Tamim! Long time no see. Where were you?”
I didn't notice when Roshni came there and I looked at her getting all startled as she suddenly spoke up, "What was all that drama now?"
She was also giving a death glare to Tamim whereas Tamim stayed there with an apologetic face.
