Chapter 90: Chapter 90
Pamela squinted. She glared at him. Does he know about Dora? Did he remember them or was he told?
She turned and exchanged glances with Fred. The latter sighed and said "I'll wait for you" he said and excused them.
"Do you now know why we needed to talk? How are the kids?" Louis asked and Pamela eyed him.
"How many more can you remember? Besides asking after your favourite kid and talking about the baby in my belly. Tell me what other things you can remember?" Pamela asked.
"Nothing else," Louis answered honestly.
Pamela chuckled "you didn't remember anything then. You know these ones because you were told. But until you remember everything, don't bring your face before me again, Louis Hayden" Pamela yelled.
"Then wait for me to remember everything before you get into any relationship with Fred Meyer" Louis Hayden declared.
At this point, his parents had walked over and Romeo also. They heard what Louis said. But will Pamela listen to that?
"You are not in any position to tell me what I should do or should not do. You are not qualified to tell me that, okay? If you lose your memories, do you also lose your senses?
Why didn't you wait and recall your memories before frolicking with someone else and getting her pregnant? You took her to the altar and got married to her.
Now you open that unfaithful mouth of yours and tell me what I should or shouldn't. Don't ever say such words to me again otherwise I smash a bottle on your head. You cheating bastard" Pamela snapped at him.
Louis was speechless. He has no word to retort back at her. Pamela is right. He is not qualified to say that. He got married to Miranda without doing proper research.
Pamela glared at him with a sneer and hissed between gritted teeth. She turned to go when Ellis said "I am not talking from Louis' point of view, but I am asking that you don't separate us from the kids"
"I can't help it, uncle. I am already building a world, a business in Middletown City. I will relocate a few days after my delivery with my kids and we are not coming back here.
We don't have anything here that we would return to pick. We don't have anyone else here that matters to us that we would come back to visit. My kids and I are leaving.
Louis is married and I can't let my kids be the illegitimate children in his home. He has a baby now and a beautiful wife. I will go somewhere else and pitch my tent.
I can't leave them with you either. Because there are some human beings whose blood runs through the face of my kids and I wish there's something I can do to erase it.
But I will ensure that my kids hate and sever relationships with such human beings. I'm sorry uncle, but your family has pushed me to the point where I no longer care.
Please forgive me sir, but I can't help it. It has to be so. I won't stop Louis from coming to see his kids, the Quadruplets and this little one in my belly, I won't stop him because he's their father" Pamela said, clasping her hands.
Pamela glanced from Ellis Hayden to his wife, who silently was cleaning her tears to Louis whose eyes had gone reddened.
When she glanced at Romeo, he bowed slightly and said "You have no idea what president Hayden has been through all these months and he also has no idea of the pain, the emotional torture and the disappointment you've been through as well.
But please Dr Pamela, do think twice before taking any decision. Two wrongs can never make it right. Everything is not his fault, you both fell victim to this whole thing.
But I will ask you a question, when the going was good, you knew how much he loved and doted on you. How he loves his kids to the ends of the earth.
How he never shared his body with anyone else besides you. You knew all of these. And you still wear the engagement ring he gave you because you still believe in his love for you.
His marriage to Miranda Alvan was not a proper one. Look at you, you are still pregnant with his child and that stupid wife of his has given birth. As a woman, is it supposed to be so?
Do you think he is the father of Miranda Alvan's child? Did you see him in the picture on social media carrying the child? Isn't it Miranda and the baby alone?
Please don't make rash decisions. He cheated on you, yes. He left you and the kids and tied the knot with another woman, that's also true. But this is another personality in him. This is not the man you really fell in love with.
You're an intelligent woman. You are also smart. So please, I have faith in you that you will take the right decision" Romeo concluded.
Pamela's eyes went teary and she glanced at Louis briefly before storming off. Romeo's words are true.
Fred Meyer met her midway and hugged her. He walked her back to her car while Louis stared at them.
"She only listens to you Romeo. Only you and dad. Please both of you, talk to her not to leave. I can't let five kids go away from me like that.
I can perceive the bond with her. I feel I am deeply in love with her and she loves me too. Do whatever you can to stop her from leaving" Louis pleaded.
"I will try. I will keep trying until you both are together again. But I pray she listens" Romeo declared.
Louis nodded "I feel like I'm losing her to another man. If I truly love her as you claim, will I be able to survive it when I see her with another man?" Louis asked a rhetorical question.
While in the car, a smile appeared on Pamela's face. She's glad Louis is gradually becoming a normal man again. She may not be with him, but she wished him the best in this life.
He would remember the kids and that's enough for her. He's married, she can't be his wife nor will her engagement to him mean anything again.
But he would be himself again. He would remember every single thing about himself. She would return those documents to him alongside the engagement ring he gave her.
The thoughts of it gladdens her heart. She's happy for him. She looked forward to when she would look into his eyes and recognise the father of her kids, her lover and the best man she'd ever known.
She loves him a lot. She loves him forever. No matter what happens, she would love only Louis Hayden in this life.
When Pamela arrived home, she received a bouquet of flowers. It's beautiful, a mixture of green and white. It smells sweet.
Pamela likes it and she inhaled it. She glanced at her grandmother and her eyes were watery. "What is it grandma?" Pamela asked.
"That combination is your mother's favourite colour. She'd given me exactly something like this the birthday before she left. It reminds me of her" Clarion answered and started sobbing.
Pamela went closer to her and said "I'm here now, grandma. I am your Alice now. I won't leave you like my mom did, I will stay with you until the end of your life"She promised.
Clarion nodded, smiling through teary eyes. She hugged her daughter and kissed her temple "Thank you for coming into my life," she said.
Pamela suddenly asked "Do you know my mother's graveyard? I want to visit her" she asked.
Clarion pulled her away from her body and said "No one knows where Alice was buried. Her tomb was never known" she answered helplessly.
At the same time in the hermit, Sister Susana asked Margret "did you give her the present?"
"Yes. Her grandmother received it for her. And for the kids, they got each as well" Margret answered.
Sister Susana nodded, her eyes welled up with tears. No matter what, the vacuum will never be sealed. The place of Alice would remain vacant forever.
"But mother, what is the unique thing about that woman, Pamela Grayson?" Margret asked, watching the back view of her divine mother.
"She's Alice Johnson's daughter. That's the uniqueness of it. The only child she's got in this life" Sister Susana replied.
Margret squinted and glared at her divine mother in shock. She walked over and stood before her "But you used to be Alice Johnson in the past"
