Chapter 80: Chapter 80

Leah's eyes went teary afresh. Louis heard everything. He heard Clarion's words. He must be thinking horrible of her now. She is falling out with everyone.

Clarion got into her car and the chauffeur drove her off. It's so unbearable to be anywhere close to that woman. So unbearable.

"I asked you Mom, if what that woman said was true? Pamela is my woman and I truly got engaged to her. Is it true that you were the one who split us apart?

You are the brain behind Miranda being by my side? We had Quadruplets and she's presently pregnant with my child? Is it true, Mom?" Louis yelled.

Leah shivered and started sobbing aloud. She nodded and next shook her head, completely confused.

She didn't expect that Louis would still be like this after several months. She didn't know Miranda Alvan would betray her and go a little farther. She didn't expect this outcome.

"So it's true then, there was a splitting. You ruined my happiness? Tell me why you did that? I can't remember anything still, but maybe you tell me why" Louis demanded, his eyes gone moist.

"I mean you no harm baby. I swear my motives were pure. I swear I didn't mean to hurt you and Pamela the way everything turned out to be" Leah pleaded.

"You meant me no harm but you pulled Pamela's hair when she came to see me in the hospital. A grown woman lost her beautiful long hair because of your violent pulling and you said you meant no harm?" Louis demanded, glaring at his mother.

"I'm sorry baby. Mommy will make it good again" Leah said, trying to hug her son when Louis moved backwards.

"Don't touch me, Mom. I will wait until I remember everything. But when I do and I realise all the evil and schemes you've been involved in, I will really go mad with you" Louis declared and went to his car.

Leah saw her son drive off and she sob loudly. Her life was in disarray. She is losing her family. The centre was falling apart and she couldn't do anything to hold it together

Miranda opened her eyes in the hospital and looked around, she immediately recognised where she was, it's in the hospital.

She touched her belly, there's a suture. Her baby, where is her baby? Did anything happen to her child? She remembered she tripped over and then, she cannot remember anything else until that moment.

"You're awake ma'am" the servant came closer and held Miranda's hands. The latter flung the servant's hand off and glared at her with irritation.

How dare this lowlife hold her hand? What kind of insult was that? How dare she lay those wretched hands of hers on her? What impudent?

The servant moved backwards and folded her hands in front of her. She should have known. Her excitement that ma'am had given birth got into her head.

"Where is my husband?" Miranda asked, eyeing the servant in irritation. She tried to sit up and found it difficult.

"He left not quite long" the servant replied but didn't go to give her a helping hand. She just stood afar, watching as her madam struggled alone.

"What about my baby?" Miranda asked, arrogantly. This scumbag cannot come over to assist her. When she's needed, she would stand far away and watch. But when she's not needed, she comes over to hold her hand.

"She's in the Neonates," the servant informed. Miranda felt relieved. Thank goodness, her baby's life was saved. Now that she's got a baby, she will fight and destroy Louis.

If he stays with her, she would keep him safe. But if he does otherwise, he would ruin him and destroy his Brian entirely, giving him permanent brain damage.

That way, he would only remain a zombie, doing her bidding and satisfying her in bed. She would keep him alive and get everything possible that she can get. She wouldn't let his parents mourn the death of their only child so soon.

The world needs to know that Miranda Alvan has given birth to Louis' child. She wants it to go viral. She struggled out of bed and went to the Neonates to see her.

Queen Clarion arrived home. She saw Pamela sitting on the sofa, glaring at an invitation.

"Welcome grandma" Pamela said, raised her head, glanced at her grandma and then returned her gaze on the invitation. She had no idea where her grandma had been.

"Thank you. What invitation is that?" Clarion asked, straining her eyes to see what's there.

Pamela handed it over to her "You can't imagine grandma" giving it to her. What the heck. These people are inviting her to the commissioning of the beach side village.

Clarion read through and smiled, glancing at Pamela "the Hayden cooperation invited to the commissioning of the beachside village project?" She asked.

"Yes grandma, the audacity of them to think I would honour their invitation" Pamela snorted, furrowing her eyes in contempt.

"No, Pamela. You will go. You will go for the commissioning…" Clarion corrected.
