Chapter 39: Chapter 39
Romeo looked away. If only she knew how much of a restraint he was applying to keep himself from dragging her by her hair like Leah did to Pamela and throw her out through the window.
"Calm down bitch. We need to talk first and come to an agreement" Romeo declared. He called her a bitch and Miranda was not in the least annoyed.
"Make it snappy dude. I'm dripping wet already. I thought we would take the first dose before talking business. But if that's how you want it, make it snappy" Miranda complained.
Motherfucker! Romeo said within him. Dripping wet? If he wants to sleep with a woman, he has a beautiful woman at home that he loves. Not bitches like her.
"Yes. We talk business first. In every partnership, there would be an agreement first before appending a signature. So tell me, what exactly do you want me to do for you?" Romeo asked, glaring at her with a poker face.
"It's simple. Support me to remain at Louis' side. Everything I say, rather than contradict me, agree with it. Let's take Pamela away completely leaving no trace of her in Louis' side" Miranda explained.
"Okay. I hope Louis will not know one day that we connived together to ruin his relationship with the woman he loves?" Romeo asked.
"No. His mom started it. She paid me a hundred million dollars to stay at Louis' side and not allow him to remember Pamela. She asked me to address myself as his fiance and I accepted the deal" Miranda Alvan explained.
"Oh! That means we are not the only ones in this" Romeo asked, smiling and acting like someone that is excited.
"No, we are partners in crime with his mother…hahaha. Now let's just do it, I'm horny already" Miranda chimed.
She had removed her outer clothing. She only has underwear on. She's glad that Romeo now understood how it works.
"I'm not your partner in crime Miranda Alvan. I'm a good man. Anyways, Why didn't you ask your fiance to satisfy you first before coming?" Romeo.
"He would have left over what you've done. Let's do it tonight, by tomorrow when I get back home, I will make him do it"
Romeo was bitter. Left over for President Hayden? Has she been feeding him with leftovers from other men?
"Hmm, I see. I hope you won't backstab me tomorrow on this?" Romeo asked again.
"Common baby. I am a business woman. I am only ready to do anything that would make Louis Hayden be mine. His mom gave me this chance and I intend to grab it and use it…" Miranda Alvan explained.
Romeo nodded. "That's alright. Before anything, you take a bath first" he requested and Miranda changed into a towel and stepped into the bathroom.
When she came out later, Romeo was gone.
In Middletown City, Clarion waited all day and Tarvan didn't come to see her. She learnt he returned late from whatever meeting he went to.
But he could spare her a few minutes and talk to her as his wife and the queen. She hadn't really gotten to speak with him after the coronation.
Always with guests. And at night, with his women. This concerns their daughter's last wishes before leaving the royal palace. At least they should grant her request.
She sent a servant to inquire if his highness was having guests and the servant returned to say that his highness was in his chambers with his concubine.
Next morning, Clarion waited in the royal court. This time, she was not dressed in royal attire. She was dressed like an elegant lady.
Tarvan came earlier than he did the previous day. He saw Clarion and can tell she was fuming in rage. She was hurt that he didn't come to see her like he promised?
"Take your seat your majesty" Tarvan gestured but Clarion snapped at him "Tarvan, you seem to get busy these days that you do not realise that you have a woman named Clarion in this palace.
Busy during the day and working hard at night. With screams of sexual pleasure resounding in the entire palace like some shameless teenagers who are privileged to be grilled by their kind" Clarion bellowed.
Tarvan was taken aback by the queen's outburst. He just stared at her. What is wrong with Clarion? Is she uncomfortable that he was with his concubines?
When did she become like this? Does she want him to invite her to his chambers and he hasn't? Anyways, he would ignore her for the first time and it's definitely going to be the last time he would tolerate her harsh words to him.
"It appears you are not ready to sit down. Go ahead and tell me what is bothering you,"King Tarvan requested, sitting on the royal seat and glaring at Clarion.
Clarion hissed between gritted teeth. He doesn't feel offended by what she said. He's probably enjoying the shameless moaning from his concubines.
"It's about Pamela, '' Clarion started, combing her hair with her hand. She glanced at Tarvan and the latter just stared at her expressionlessly.
"What about her?" Tarvan asked patiently. He just hopes that Clarion is not bringing up a matter he had made a final verdict on.
"How long are you going to strip her of her titles? Bring her back home" Clarion requested, now her harsh tone became soft, with pleas in her eyes.
"Until she's married and brings her husband to me for blessing," Tarvan replied.
"Bringing Pamela home and engraving her into the royal family was Alice's last wish before she left the palace. No matter what happened, Pamela shouldn't be sent away from the royal family" Clarion
pleaded.
Alice might have said it before she left the palace for the last time, but she wants her baby to be recognised as a member of the royal family.
"You told me that you have something important to tell me. Will you go ahead and discuss it with me? And don't tell me the nonsense you're talking about is what you wanted to discuss with me" Tarvan snapped at his wife.
Clarion felt discouraged. "This is why I wanted to see you. This is not nonsense Tarvan. It's about our daughter"Clarion coaxed.
"Don't ever call me by my first name again. Don't you have any regards at all, to call your King by his first name simply because he is your husband?
Secondly, don't bring Pamela's name before me anymore. Don't let me lose all my patience and banish her forever from the royal family of Middletown City. Do you hear me, Clarion!" The King bellowed.
His facial expression was dark. He glared at the queen with fury. She wants to coax him to go back on his words?
"You won't do it, King Tarvan. You won't repeat the same mistake that made me lose my only child many years ago. This harsh inconsiderate decision and decree sent Alice away and we never saw her again.
The least we can do is to allow her daughter to take the place of her mother. You sending Pamela away is hurting me. She's the only child I've got now. She's the only one that can take Alice's place in my heart and in your heart as well.
And to know that Alice asked that her daughter should never be sent away like she was is worth being considered. This palace needs an heir and Pamela has to fill it up in place of her mother.
Why can't you see things along that line, why is it difficult for you to understand, your highness. The royal family needs Pamela and she's the only thing that can suit me in my old age…" Her majesty explained hurriedly.
"I cannot compromise on the good virtues of the royal family simply because the person who went against it is my daughter. If I could send away my daughter, why can't I do it to Pamela?" Tarvan rebuffed.
"She's our daughter now. You can't repeat the same mistake. She's the heir apparent to the royal family…"Clarion was saying when Tarvan interrupted her.
"Pamela cannot be the heir if the concubines give birth to a son. She can't be!!"
"What are you saying Tarvan? I am the queen and I am the only one who can produce the next heir and Pamela is all that I have now" Clarion declared.
"Unfortunately you can't have that privilege because you are unable to have more children besides Alice. You are as good as a barren woman, Clarion" Tarvan blurted in fury.
"Tarvan!!!" Clarion exclaimed.
