Chapter 117: Chapter 117
Pamela was forcibly turned abruptly to face Louis. She was dazed when she saw him. He was glaring into her eyes with pain and fury in his heart.
Fred Meyer pulled her off Louis' grip and glared at the latter with resentment. If he thinks he can misbehave towards her before him, he wouldn't take it.
"Stay off, Louis Hayden," Fred Meyer warned. He might be the richest and most handsome dude in Oak City, but he is not the only brutal and rascal dude in town.
"And if I don't?" Louis retorted sharply. He saw how Fred held Pamela's hand and it made his heart rend with jealousy.
He might have hurt her in the past, but it was never intentional. She knew about the amnesia. And he was already working on it to make it right.
The two men glared at each other and Pamela felt very uncomfortable. She glanced past Louis and saw Lucas and Alice. She felt embarrassed.
Romeo just stared at her expressionlessly. Then gradually she turned her gaze back at Louis. He was feeling very unhappy with her.
But she shrugged. She doesn't give a damn. He started it when he slept with Miranda Alvan. He is only getting a share of what he'd done to her.
"I will punch your face and I won't stop until I break your nose, '' Fred Meyer threatened. He glared at him but the latter fixed his gaze on Pamela.
"Let's see just how a little fish like you can break my nose" Louis retorted. What an insult. Pamela hangs out with another man and he dares to raise a voice at him.
"Louis, stop. Why did you come to interfere with our quiet moments together? Fred Meyer is my boyfriend now. You should respect our relationship, please" Pamela seethed.
There was a sudden quietness that descended on everyone present. Louis just glared at Pamela with pain in his heart. How can she do this to him?
"Are you hurting me on purpose, Pamela? Why are you doing this to me?" Louis demanded.
Fred Meyer had never felt so happy in his many years of achievement like he was at that moment. Pamela used him as a shield to get away from her ex.
"I haven't done anything to you, Louis. I owe you nothing. I have never hurt you. I was true to you till the last minute. But I need to move on with my life" Pamela snapped at him.
"What is wrong with you, Pamela?" Lucas demanded.
"Are you sure you don't need to see a doctor?" Alice asked, her brow furrowing in fury. What on earth is wrong with her friend?
"I think you both should mind your own business. Stay away from Pamela's life and decisions she'd made" Fred Meyer seethed.
What the heck is their business? Pamela had chosen him over Louis openly and they found it difficult to accept it. He doesn't know why they are weeping more than the bereaved.
"I'm trying hard to hold back my resentment for you. If you push me an inch further, you might be the one to leave here with a broken nose" Lucas warned.
"Lucas! Don't annoy me" Pamela warned.
"Don't raise your voice at my man, Pamela? I don't even understand you anymore. Haven't you been waiting for Louis to return to you? What is going on now?" Alice stuttered.
"Let's leave here, Alice. Pamela has multiple personalities in her. She'd switched to that rascal Pamela she used to be" Lucas mumbled.
"Don't leave yet, Lucas. I want to ask your friend a question. Whatever she says determines what happens between us from now on" Louis declared.
Fred Meyer circled his hand around Pamela's waist, deliberately provoking Louis to fury. The latter shrugged and went ahead to ask Pamela a question.
"Are you choosing this brat over me? Are you really leaving me because of what happened between Miranda Alvan and I? Or is there something else I need to know?" Louis asked.
"You've always been a smart guy, Louis. I am done with you. I can't be with a man who is married. Even if you get divorced, I can't be with another woman's leftovers. I have chosen Fred, get used to it" Pamela snapped at her.
Her tone sounded determined but her heart was bleeding. She loves him alone. She loved Louis very much.
"You knew my involvement with Miranda Alvan was not intentional. I wouldn't do this to you if I didn't lose my memory" Louis pleaded.
"I can't help it either. You were with Miranda and I am with Fred. We're already doing what a man and a woman does. We've bonded, we've gone intimate with each other.
And you know what Louis Hayden, I am happy having the taste of another man. I thought you were the best at plunging a woman until I got another man to drill me. You and I are even now…"Pamela was saying when Alice yelled at her.
"Shut the crap!! Just be quiet, Pamela!"
Louis' eyes went red. He gnashed his teeth and turned to glare at Fred. She dares to fuck another man? Pamela is not the woman he used to know.
She's no longer pure for him. She's no longer the reserved decent woman she was when he met her. She's a different woman now.
And he is giving up on her at that moment. He is no longer pursuing her. Fred had slept with her, he felt humiliated by her. He was done, he is through with her.
Louis nodded and said "You are the mother of my children, Pamela. You and I will henceforth only talk about our kids. I let you go to be with whoever you want to be with" Louis declared.
He turned and glared at Lucas and Alice and said "Thanks for coming buddies. I am no longer interested in your friend" he announced.
He walked past the two lovers when Romeo, who had been quiet all along said "If your love for Louis died so easily, it only meant that it didn't have root, it was never true. It's all fake!"
