Chapter 42: Chapter 42
"If he had loved me, he wouldn't have left me, I was supposed to be the most important thing to him," I leave the room and go to the bathroom. I don't think I can ever see Kahin again or live in the same country as him, now I must consider leaving this place that has seen me grow up and has given me joy, but as of today only gives me pain.
"Pretty" Randon yells, smiling because he is here I enter the dining room and hug him.
"I didn't know you were coming," I leave to find a seat.
"Oh dear ... you're smiling!" He says excited, "it's a surprise, ou're really miling!" He hugs me again, "my God, she smiled!" He turns away from me again, this time laughing at his reaction, I hit his shoulder.
"Don't be silly Randon, you knew my smile had to come back and ..."
"Is that the one you were with that day?" Loan asks a little pissed off, "Marilí, Kahin won't like this, you know he doesn't like you being with another man when he's not around," he almost shouts at me.
"My daughter can be with whoever she wants, damn it! Kahin is not her owner, I know there is a damn contract involved, but shit, what man buys a woman? My daughter just wanted to help me and that bloody asshole took advantage of her," my mother gets up from the table, "If you mention that idiot in my house again, you'll have to leave, my daughter will never see him again and if he wants hid money back, I'm willing to give him every last penny."
By approaching my mother, I try to calm her down, she feels guilty for what happened, after all I made that decision to help her, "mom, please calm down, Loan is not to blame for what happened, he only tells the truth, Kahin does not like me to be with someone else," I look at the fool, "but he's not here and I can be with whoever I want, Randon is my friend and he's not to blame for what happened, it was I who didn't allow neither him nor Kahin to take care of me, so let's forget everything, is that clear?" Everyone remain silent, "okay, then let's start breakfast, I'm terribly hungry." They all give an awkward smile and we get to it.
"What about going to Metro Mall?" Randon asks, catching all eyes.
"How are you stupid to propose to go to a mall?" I ask somehow annoyed, "you know I can't tolerate being outside my house." My friend nods.
"I just thought you could have fun, you won't take risks there and I'm not going to separate from you, even if you ask me to."
"He is right," Carla supports him, "nothing can happen at the mall and you're also going to have fun. What do you say if the four of us go? My Zazo and I will go too," she smiles.
"It will be a good idea," Loan supports his girlfriend.
"You should go my daughter, you only go out to go to the sessions with the psychologist, he has told you that you should try to go out and not cling to the safety of the house," I look at my mother not very convinced, I won't be able to go out, I'm afraid to.
"It's also daytime darling, let's go cheer up," my aunt prompts me.
"Just promise you won't leave me alone for a second ... Don't."
My friends smile, "have no doubts about that, I'll be gum on your shoes." Randon hugs me.
When we finished eating, amid laughter and uncomfortable situations due to the way others act regarding my problem, we headed towards the mall. I'm glad that everyone makes a huge effort to get through everything and just help me get through my sorrows.
"Wow ... I want that game," Loan walks into a video game store, Randon tugs me.
"They shouldn't play that so much," I grunt at the memory of Kahin playing that with Loan.
"This is the best thing in the world, precious," Randon answers.
"For the sake of everything foolish. Is that $ 70?" My friend asks on the verge of a faint.
"It's from a PlayStation darling, of course it's at that price." My friend looks at me just as surprised as I am. The boys buy what they need and we leave the store to tour the mall.
"Wow," I hear Carla say, I am so absorbed in what I think that I do not pay attention to them, when I turn shortly after I do not see them, the nervousness attacks me and grows in me by seconds, the look of men on me, gives me terror, people walking from one side to the other terrify me. Altered and losing control of the moment I start to look for them around without moving from where I am, when I take a step back I collide with someone, startling me, I turn to move away.
"Dwarf," Malcolm says, scared and wanting to cry I hug him, "let's go easy, everything will be fine," he gives me a protective hug.
"I was afraid..."
"Beautiful here you are!" Randon arrives, looking worried, I yell at him.
"You promised not to leave me alone, you have told me that you would not separate from me, you have said that I did not have to worry and you have left me alone," people look at us but I don't care. He tries to get close to me and I won't allow it.
"I'm sorry, I told you I was going to the bathrooms and you said yes, nodding, I thought you'd be fine."
"Try to explain yourself, I don't remember doing such a thing."
"Sweet?" Hearing Kahin's voice strains me, my heart pounding, I look in the direction the voice came from. When I look at him, my heart flutters wildly and my stomach suffers, he has the most noticeable beard, his hair is longer and his appearance is that of not having been calm, "baby," he walks over to me, but I back away, still holding Malcolm.
"You better talk to him dwarf," Malcolm advises me, but I can only think that he abandoned me when I needed him most, refuse again and again.
"No, I'm not going to talk to him, I decided to forget about him and I'm going to do it, I promised myself to get ahead on my own and I'm going to keep it, don't come near me Kahin, I don't want to hear from you, disappear like you have done this week," taking Randon by the hand I pull him out of there, Malcolm's huge hand stopping me.
"Dwarf, you know I don't condone the actions of that son of a bitch, but he must speak up, don't hurt yourself more."
Looking at him pleadingly, I ask him to let me go and he does, without looking at Kahin, I go hand in hand with Randon, how is it possible that until now he appeared? Why did he look so bad? The questions invade me as always when it comes to him.
"I'm sorry I left you alone, it wasn't my intention, I thought you were listening to me," Randon hugs me.
"Don't worry," I whisper, "everything is fine."
He kisses my head, "it was Loan who told him where you are. It was only because of that that he came to see you, only his jealousy prompted him to look for you."
"How can it be so?" I ask him.
"I don't know precious, your boyfriend is something strange," he frowns, "maybe Loan told him so that you guys could fix things."
I huffed, still nervous at the appearance of that man, "this can no longer be fixed, this cannot be, he hurt me with his abandonment."
