Chapter 37: Chapter 37

I woke up to the fragrant smell applied to my nose. I straightened up when I felt an arm wrapped around my body, I also felt my head resting on its arm. I looked up to look at him, I also withdrew a hug and closed my eyes again as my face sank into his chest. I could hear no heartbeat but I could feel the weight of its breathing.

"You're just here first, I just want you to be here next to me." His arms tightened around me. My heart was beating fast and I knew he could feel it. I would, I would love to stay by his side even longer.

"I'm just here, I'll stay by your side even after a few thousand lives have passed," I said while also hugging him tightly. I was still close and I was very comfortable in his arms, I felt very safe and I was brave to face those who might come.

"Why didn't you tell me? What if you disappear forever because you're doing this?" I lay down to look up at him. It was close but I knew he wasn't asleep, because they weren't sleeping.

"Don't think about those things, think about today. No yesterday, no tomorrow, matters today, now that you are trapped in my love." I sank into his chest again as he lifted my head.

"I'll wait for you, we'll meet again in our next life," I promised and hugged him tightly. I close my eyes because of the delicious feeling. I wish we could take this long until our souls meet again, but it looks like we will have to let go of everything between the two of us. I know, I feel and I am hurting that coming day. When I think it, I can't control my tears, but I want to hide it from him because I know he fights too. We stayed like this until my cellphone rang.

"Just a moment." I insisted on it because he didn't want to let me go.

"Maybe it's Jade, we'll meet later." Only then did he release me when I mentioned Jade's name. I arranged to sit while he, remained lying down and stared at me as he picked up my phone.

He was handsome, I was a little nervous because we were like a couple. It's a pity we can't get married and this day will never happen again.

"Good morning!" Happy greetings from Jade from the other line.

"Morning." I greet with a smile. I stopped laughing after Florence tickled me on the side.

"Let's meet at 10 am, we'll just go to Jollibee."

"All right, I'll take a bath first." After that she said goodbye before she was off the call.

"Come on, let's go back to the past." I even pushed him after he pulled me horizontally.

"We're leaving, so you're dressed as well." I slid to get up.

"Easy, just hurry." Simultaneously smile at it. This, in turn, is said to be his somewhat rude behavior.

"Get up and I'll take a bath." I laughed throwing the pillow at him, he even covered his face before sitting down.

"Let's take a bath together." I screamed and ran after he jumped to where I was standing. "Come on, don't–aahhhh!" I close my eyes after he pulls me and hugs me.

"Let's take a bath honey." He whispered and we both fell on the bed. He was supporting so I could not feel his weight, he was sitting on me now while his hands were on my head.

"Why you nice? "He asked seriously as his eyes stared at me. We both blinked softly as he slowly brought his face closer. I close my eyes when I feel the touch of its lips. It stayed for a few seconds and I felt its smile.

"All right, I want you to wear red later. You look better in that color." He's language is gentle after standing up. He even helped me to sit down, I just nodded before it finally came out. I took a deep breath before standing up. Red dress? In case I have wounds now, it's not nice to see if my wound can be seen.

I didn't ask Valeria, should I tell Florence that Valeria is the perpetrator of bad spirits? My wound still hurts when I touch it with soapy water but I have to clean it because of the herbal medicine that was put here last night.

After I take a bath, I immediately look for something to wear. I don't want to dress now because I want to hide my wound, Jade will see my wound so she might be worried. I also want to go home now, we still have no idea where we can see Renna. I'm wearing a red jumpsuit now, it's sleeveless so it can see the wound on my arm, but it's easier to get through it in case Jade notices.

I curled the fringe of my hair again and put on a bit of make-up. After that I turned around in the mirror again, I saw my sweet smile that seemed impossible to erase. Just as I was taking the bag, Florence suddenly entered.

He was wearing his black jacket again and holding his black hat. Our smile widened, this was the first time the two of us would go out.

"Very beautiful young lady." Smiling its greeting.

"You too sir." I once held his arm.

"I've known for a long time." He stroked her hair and winked, I tried to pinch her but I couldn't.

Once again we met the two Grim reapers, smiling but traces of astonishment on their faces. They may think that we are losing our minds because we almost killed each other before and now we are having so much fun.

When we went down, I didn't see Valeria, only Roly, Mona and Cora greeted us. They didn't say a word, they just smiled at us as we walked out of the hotel.

"Your driver is handsome, right?"

"The woman next to you is better," I joked here, of course I'm Quinn Belle. It's not fashionable for me to lose. It just shook at what I said and focused on driving.

"Yeah by the way, how's Valeria? Aren't you angry that she was hurt?" After I asked this the smile gradually disappeared from his lips.

"Don't think about her, this day is ours. We'll go to your cousin and later we'll see mom." There was a tickle when he pronounced mom.

I really feel like it's normal for us to be in a really, legally in the family.

"Okay." I spoke artfully and looked out the window. It's our day, but how can I tell him about Valeria?

After a while we arrived where Jade and I would meet. As soon as we entered she waved, I even looked at Keir and took him by the hand and pulled him over there.

"This is Florence." When I introduced him, he shook hands with Narex.

"He's so handsome, Quinn," Jade greeted and I laughed.

"No, you gave him courage again. Later he'll brag that he's really handsome. Someone had already told him so I knew it wouldn't stop him from being proud of himself."

"That's true, that's why you're so dead to me." I almost choked on what it said.

"Look." I frowned at the same time.

"You know, that's how Jade and I used to be." Narex laughed and even kissed Jade on the cheek. I smiled because they were so sweet. Maybe in their previous lives they really loved each other so even now they are still faithful to each other.

"So I know you guys really well," Jade's added. I just shook my head and resumed eating, even if I really wanted us to look like that in our next life.
