Chapter 72: Chapter 72
Chapter 72
Sansa's Pov
I was running to save myself, but I got stuck in a corner with no way out. One of them attacked me and raised a claw. but Bella smacked it down with the table. I had a brief opportunity to flee as the creature felt pain, but it quickly returned to hunting.
Bella was the most fearless at the time, fighting like a warrior and not caring if she died or was harmed. She was avoiding the creature, which confused it.
She took the archery bow that was hanging on the wall. She was shooting an arrow at them and fleeing as they pursued her.
"I'm taking them with me outside! Shut the door!" Bella yelled.
"That is not going to work! They won't leave until we all refuse to leave!" Amara yelled
"Everyone, let's go out!" Fariya stated
"No!! That's a bad idea! What if there are more of them out there?" I said
"She is correct! We can't go out because it's too dangerous," Ruth stated.
Bella was obstructed by three creatures. When one of them attacked her in the middle, she flipped her body and shot the arrow at the creature's nose. That creature was screaming so loudly that our ears appeared to be bleeding.
Ruth was throwing a table at it with all her might.
"Cut off their neck!" I yelled for everyone to hear it.
"Go for the throat!"
"Attack on the head!" I yelled repeatedly.
They were powerful, even more so than the previous wild creature Adam had killed in the jungle.
I was running upstairs when I noticed a creature following me.
I saw Bella fire an arrow at its throat. That creature was screaming and spinning around.
I was checking the room's doors, knocking on them when they were locked from the inside. I had no choice but to become its food in the next second. I was still trying to open it as I went from door to door to see if it was open.
My mind was already racing, but now was not the time to catch my breath. It got one inch closer to me, and its claw was about to touch my shoulder, but I was able to get inside because one of the doors was not locked from the inside.
I thought I was going to die at that point, but I was lucky enough to stay alive for a brief moment. Standing against the door, I was catching my breath. I was shivering in fear and was drenched in sweat.
My entire body was covered in goosebumps. That thing was constantly banging on the door. My heart was racing, and there was no other way for me to escape the room; I was trapped.
I had no one who could help me. I was about to be killed by the wild creature, and Adam was nowhere to be found. My death was constantly knocking on the door to confront me.
The knocking on the door suddenly stopped, and there was no screaming from the creature; it appeared to be gone. I had hoped.
I noticed someone laying on the bed and went over to see that person's face was covered in oxygen. When it was weak enough not to move, I thought it was a dead body for a moment.
I noticed that the machine next to the bed was showing a slow breathing line and that his heart rate was not normal. That could be Xavier's brother, Levine.
I began to look around for a weapon to use against that creature. I wanted to prepare to defend myself before it returned. That creature smashed the door open and crept inside.
When I was on the other side of the bed, the creature was standing on the other side of the bed. When I was staring at myself like it was thirsty for my blood, I held my breath.
I removed the sword from the wall where it was hanging. I removed the sword from its cover and discarded it. while our gazes were locked on each other.
When the wild creature was about to kill Levine, I tightened my grip on the sword and began running towards it, shouting to distract it.
When the wild creature was about to bite Levine in the face, I climbed the bed and landed my sword on its neck. It came to a halt as I stabbed the sword into its neck. Its blood splattered on my face and Levine's.
Its scream was louder in my ears, and it was capable of killing any heart patient. As I drew the sword from it, the creature screamed incessantly and became out of control. shivering in agony as its steps stumbled. It was about to fall on Levine at one point, and then it was about to fall behind.
The best time to attack is when it was in pain and not thinking about attacking. I dashed over to it and stabbed it with my sword at full strength, just like Adam.
It screamed again, but this time I looked into its eyes as a blood drop fell from my face. I faced my fear and fought to the end. That's exactly what I did that day. I fought for my life.
That creature became exhausted and collapsed on the floor, shivering. I inhaled deeply, raised my sword, and stabbed it into its neck. It was killed by my last attack.
When I realized it was already dead, my trembling hands let go of the sword, and I stumbled backward two steps. I was taking a breather.
I'd done things I never imagined myself doing. It was difficult to face Xavier, deal with Vera, and deal with Ray's guilt now that that creature's death had been hanging over me since I arrived. I fought every day to keep myself from Xavier, and that creature was my undoing.
I had no idea how I had gotten so powerful when I didn't dare fight that wild creature. After catching my breath, I turned my attention to Levine, who was covered in blood.
