Chapter 37: Chapter 37

My head laid on top of his chest trying to regain our breath. “You know Diego, you’re just like me. You’ve become voracious as well.” “You do mean insatiable, Fio.” “I don’t want to use that word.” “Why?” “Well, because that just makes it sound too fifty.” Diego laughed “Oh! Fio you and your books.” “Sorry.” “For what?” “It seems you enjoyed them. “I did.” “You said you read them. Didn’t you enjoy them?” “When I heard they were number one seller, I did read them, but I was kind of disappointed.” “Why?” “Well, Fio they were romanced novels, not what I had thought.” “So you thought it would be more BDSM than.” “Well, yes.” “Well, Diego you could always write one of your own.” “Go to sleep Fio.” “Why I don’t work tomorrow, remember. I am sick.” “Yeah, but I might have to go out. Eric might not be here but the life of a reporter never stops.” “How do you suppose to go the van isn't out there?” “Steven, my friend will be picking me up if I need to go.” “Now sleep, aren’t you exhausted after…” “Well, not anymore, I might be a bit..” “Go to sleep, Love. You need the rest.” I closed my eyes thinking well I guess he isn’t insatiable. But he was right, I fell right to sleep.

The next morning couldn’t have been a brighter day for me. Diego and I enjoyed the day lounging around my home. We both caught up on laundry, he was happy to do it with me. I just wished he would allow me to do something. Each time I would tell him that I was capable he would try to coax me into doing something I truly enjoyed. Diego made sure that I was given a tremendous amount of orgasms throughout the day. He fulfilled me physically as well as mentally. My cell rang and went to answer it. It was my friend Melba, she didn't say much was just checking up on me, but she quickly ended the call as soon as she heard Diego's voice in the background. She knew I was in good hands at least that was what I thought. Diego left to get us some food. “Next, time let me cook.” I said to him as I began to unpack the Popo’s burgers from the bag. “Not yet, you need to get better and possibly gain back some weight.” I looked down at myself. “What do you mean?” “You’ve lost some weight since I first met you.” “How can you tell?” “Fio, I hold you and touch you and you even told your friend. I know your anatomy, remember.” I began to laugh. I hadn’t realized I was losing weight. I guess all the exercise and lack of sleeping were taking a toll on my diet. I shrugged at it. “Fine, Diego but I must warn you I get fat quickly.” “Don’t worry Love, that’s not going to happen.” We ate our Popo burgers talking here and there. We had just finished when his phone rang. He looked at his cell number and quickly answered it. “Steven, what’s up?” I couldn’t hear the other party but I guess it was good news. Diego's face lit up quickly. “You kidding and is he reliable.” “Yeah, I understand sure about what time.” He looked at me. “Yeah, six is great it’s getting darker by then.” “Great I’ll be ready by five-thirty, Oh, Steven call so I can meet you out.” “See you then.” Diego hanged the phone up. He came to me and kissed me. I had hoped it would be longer but he took hold of me and lead me to the sofa. We sat down. “So, what do you want to see.” “I don’t know this time you pick.” “How about the Expendables?” “Which one part one or part two?” I asked him. “Let’s just start with part one.” “Okay” Diego didn’t tell me about his call and in truth, I didn’t want to know. He said something’s is better not knowing and I knew I didn’t have it in me to get to know anything else. I wasn’t aware that I had drifted to sleep. The only thing was that I began to dream. I was riding again on the motorcycle with Marcos. He was going faster and at first, I was enjoying it. He was coming up on a curve and then we were beginning to lose control. We flew off the motorcycle and landed on the tall grass. I quickly got up and noticed nothing had happened to me. I looked for Marcos and found him three feet away from me. I quickly ran to him and I saw him bleeding profusely. I tried to help him and he grabbed my arm. “Help me Fio, don’t leave me here.” “Please Marcos let me go. I can’t help you not anymore.” He then opened his shirt and I saw the slit marks on his skin. I began to scream. “Fio, wake up, Fio wake up.” I felt someone shaking me. I stood and fell to the floor. I cradled myself holding my knees close to me. Diego was in front of me. “Fio what is it?” I looked up at him and I just saw concern. I nodded. I didn’t want him to know. “It was just a dream.” I said. “Dreams don’t make you scream like that Fio, what’s going on. Talk to me Fio.” I couldn’t share this with him, I didn’t know why. “Let it go, Diego.” I said not caring. I got up and went to get a bottle of water from the fridge. “Fio, you need to talk to me or maybe.” He paused. His phone rang and he answered it. “Yeah! I’ll be out.” He closed the phone and looked at me. “Fio, I don’t want to leave you like this, maybe..” “Go, Diego, you need to do your job, I don’t want to keep you. It was nothing.” He was debating. He came up to me took a hold of my face and looked into my eyes. “Those deep brown eyes hold so much Fio, I need to know what. When I come back please find in you to talk to me about it.” I didn’t know what to say. So I remained quiet. He kissed me. “I’ll go back to my home, Fio” “I don’t know what time I’ll be back. I know you have to work tomorrow.” “That’s fine Diego, I’m okay.” He looked at me and debated for a while. “Don’t worry, I’ll see you later okay.” I said to him. He kissed me and then he turned and walked out that door.
