Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Chapter 5 Dismissal

"My name is Martin James." Martin said as he smiled. "Principal Swift, I want you to do something for me in exchange for my donation. Can you do that for me?"

"Sure! Just tell me what you want me to do." Principal Swift said as he nodded.

Elma had brought the coffee almost immediately and give it to Principal Swift and Martin. Both of them thanked her and Martin decided to take a sip. "First, I want you to expel Bing Kelvin. He's the teacher who people call 'Kelvin Butcher.' My second request is that I want you to keep me from failing my subjects."

"No problem!" Principal Swift agreed without hesitation. After all, he thought that it was easy to fire one teacher.

"Well, I won't disturb you any further." Martin said as he left the office.

"I'll send you out, Mr. James." Principal Swift said as he followed behind Martin.

After Martin left, Principal Swift told Elma to investigate Martin's background.

After all, he was convinced that he came from a rich family.

"Roger that!" Elma replied hurriedly.

It was already 2 o'clock when Martin went to his classroom. Stan immediately called out to him and asked what the situation was.

"Martin, you went to Mr. Kelvin's office, right? Did he forgive you?" Stan asked.

"He didn't forgive me because I didn't apologize. In fact, he's the one who should apologize." Martin said as he smirked.

"What're you talking about, Martin? You don't have a fever, do you?" Stan looked puzzled.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. As for Mr. Kelvin, he offended me, so I made sure that he'll get fired."

"Martin, what's wrong with you?! You're talking nonsense! You should have apologized to him, you know?"

Regan Jeremy, one of Martin's classmates, suddenly laughed. He heard Stan and Martin's conversation, after all.

There was no way that Mr. Kelvin would get fired just because Martin said so either.

"Martin, did you really just say that Mr. Kelvin offended you, so you made sure that he would get fired? Regan smirked. He then stood up and shouted what he just said earlier, which made him the center of attention.

After the students heard what Regan said, they looked at Martin.

"Yes, I did say that. Mr. Kelvin offended me, so he deserves to get fired." Martin said calmly.

All of a sudden, the whole class laughed.

All the students knew that Martin was poor, so they thought it was a joke.

After all, the most renowned students only had the right to fire a teacher.

"I think you're really getting delusional now, Martin." Stan simply said. He was speechless and he didn't know how to comfort his friend.

When the bell rang, Kelvin walked inside the class and everyone greeted him.

However, Regan suddenly stood up. "Mr. Kelvin, Martin said that you offended him and that you would be expelled from teaching at this school."

After hearing what Regan said, Kelvin suddenly slammed the textbook on the desk and looked at Martin angrily. "Martin, how dare you slander a teacher?! I'll have you pay the consequences this time!"

Martin's classmates simply mocked him for being all high and mighty.

"Martin, now's your chance! Go and apologize to him!" Stan said as he poked Martin's elbow.

Soon after, Martin stood up. He then looked at Mr. Kelvin with a glare. "Regan's right, Kelvin Butcher. I told them the exact same thing Regan said and I don't regret it at all."

All of a sudden, the whole class was in an uproar. They simply thought that Martin was crazy.

Kelvin was infuriated. He never had a student talk back to him and he thought that this was the last straw. "Martin, I'll make sure that you'll never be able to graduate from this school!"

All of a sudden, a person who had two security guards walked into the classroom. Kelvin was dumbfounded when he saw who the person was.

"Director Joseph, what are you doing here?" Kelvin said in bewilderment.

"Kelvin, the headmaster ordered me to expel you from this school immediately." The director said coldly.

"W-What? Does that mean I'm fired? This can't possibly be true, director! How could I be suddenly fired?!" Kelvin said in irritation.

"Kelvin, do I look like I'm joking?! I want you to get out of this school immediately!" The director said.

Then the two security guards grabbed Kelvin and carried him out of the classroom. Director Joseph told everyone to self-study and left out of the classroom as well.

This made the whole class fall into a strange, uncomfortable silence while they looked at Martin. They thought that Martin was joking and they never actually thought that it would come true.

However, they failed to comprehend the fact that Martin was the one who wanted to expel Kelvin and came to the conclusion that Martin simply overheard that Kelvin was about to be expelled.

"Yes, that's possible!" The students nodded one after another.

"Martin probably knew that Mr. Kelvin would get fired, so he took it as an advantage to talk back to him!" Regan coldly said.

"Regan's analysis makes sense." One of Martin's classmates said.

"Martin, you're so lucky! I never knew that you were that kind of person!" Stan said as he pat Martin's back.

Martin simply didn't say anything.

After all, his classmates didn't know that he was the one who threw Kelvin out of the campus.

As the students waited for the other teacher to arrive, someone suddenly grabbed everyone's attention by telling the whole class that a sophomore donated 10 million dollars to the school.

"10 million?!" All of the students said in a daze.

All the students then talked about the sophomore who donated 10 million dollars. They were curious about the fact why that person even donated 10 million dollars in the first place.

However, this made Regan mad. He predicted that someone was much more influential than him, but he didn't know who.
