Chapter 272: Chapter 272

Chapter 272 The Plan

"Lone Wolf, I have an idea. Let's go!" Martin James said as he stood up straight away.

Apparently, Martin James had thought of an idea.

Martin James found out that Colby Gracie had several lovers. One of Colby Gracie's lovers was a bar manager, and Martin James heard that Colby Gracie was obsessed with her.

Martin James's planned to ask the female manager to find a way to set up Colby Gracie. In that way, he could make Colby Gracie confess that he was the person behind the accident. He also planned to secretly record the conversation between them.

After that, he could use the recordings as evidence.

Of course, the first step to that plan was to convince the female manager. Martin James had to think of a way to make her willing to do it.

At the Ice Fireworks Bar.

Martin James and Lone Wolf entered the bar.

"Welcome to Ice Fireworks Bar!" The lady standing at the door exclaimed as she saw the two men entered.

Martin James pulled out a few hundred dollar bills. He handed it to the lady and he said, "Find me a seat."

"Of course, sir. I'll arrange it for you."

Several ladies saw Martin James's generosity, and they all beamed to their fellow workers. I'm happy, of course.

Martin James and Lone Wolf were led by the waitress into a VIP seat.

After that, Martin James ordered a few bottles of wine.

"Sir, are you looking for beautiful women to accompany the wine?" The waitress asked with a flirty smile on her face.

"Of course, bring us the best women there is!" Martin James said casually as he pulled out a few hundred-dollar bills and handed it to the waitress.

"Okay, I'll find them for you," the waitress politely said.

Soon, the waitress came in with a group of beautiful women.

The women aligned in front of Martin James to pick from.

"Sir, they are the best women here in this bar. Please choose any of them according to your liking," the waitress announced.

Martin James glanced at women and then he shook his head and said, "They are all fat. It's too bad. They are not my type."

"But sir, they are all the most beautiful women in this bar," said the waitress.

"I heard that the manager of this bar is also beautiful. Maybe you can ask her to come here," Martin James said flatly.

"Sir, I'm sorry, but our manager is with the other guests," the waitress explained.

"What's the matter? Am I not your guest? Martin James asked with a sly smile.

After that, Martin James pulled out a few wads of money and he placed it on the table.

The waitress looked at the table and she estimated the money was no less than ten thousand dollars.

"Have you seen this money? Isn't this enough for her to show herself to me?" Martin James said as he leaned against the sofa.

"This ---," the waiter's face changed slightly.

"What's the matter? Isn't it enough?" Martin James asked as he took several thousand dollars from his wallet.

"Sir, to tell you the truth, our manager is accompanying the director of the light machinery factory who has an asset of more than one billion dollars," the waiter explained.

"You don't have to worry about that. Alright, you don't have to bring her here, you just need to take me to wherever your manager is. If you can do that, then the money on the table is all yours," Martin James said flatly.

The waitress's eyes widened as she looked at the huge amount of money that was on the table and after contemplating for a few seconds, she finally nodded.

After that, the waitress led Martin James to a VIP room.

Inside the VIP room, there sat seven or eight middle-aged men who were holding young women in their arms. They were drinking and talking merrily.

The person who seemed to be the boss was a bald man who was holding a sexy lady in his arms.

Martin James noticed that the sexy lady was the hotel manager Vivien Kennedy.

"Miss Vivien, this gentleman wants to see you," the waitress announced.

"Hello, handsome guy. Why do you want to see me?" Vivien Kennedy said as she looked at Martin James with a smile on her face.

"Vivien, can you have a few drinks with me?" Martin James said flatly.

"I'm sorry, but I have a guest that I need to accompany now," Vivien Kennedy said as she glanced at Martin James. She didn't even take him seriously as soon as she saw the way he dressed up.

Martin James looked at the bald man who was holding Vivien Kennedy and said, "How about you, sir? Will you allow Vivien to be with me?" Martin James asked and the seven men who were inside the VIP room looked up at him.

The bald man who was holding Vivien Kennedy also looked up at Martin James, and he said impatiently,

"Who do you think you are? Why would I give you my woman? Get out of here, and don't disturb us!"

Martin James slowly lifted a glass of wine from the table, "Your mouth stinks, you know?" Martin James said coldly.

When Martin James said those words, he poured the wine directly at the bald man.

"Boy! Do you want to die?" The bald man said sternly.

The seven middle-aged men stood up.

"Stinky boy! You want to die, don't you? How dare you splash me? Vivien, call the security guard! I'm going to kill this boy today!" The bald man angrily said as he wiped his face.

Vivien Kennedy was also startled as she proceeded to wipe the bald man's face with a handkerchief, while she was glaring at Martin James.

"Kill me? Why don't you give it a try?" Martin James coldly said as he took out his gun and pointed it at the bald man.

"A gun! He got a gun!" one of the middle-aged man exclaimed.

The men and Vivien Kennedy were all frightened when they saw the gun in Martin James's hand.

"Who cares if you are the director of the light machinery factory? You have more than a billion dollars in assets, right? Your value is no different from a pig!" Martin James said as he pointed the gun on the bald man's head.

"Please, no! Who are you? Why are you doing this?" The bald man's face was filled with fear, and his voice was trembling as he spoke.

"Alright, let me introduce myself. My name is Martin James. I am the Gold Group Honorary Director, and Morgan Gracie's grandson. Do you think that's enough?" Martin James said coldly.

"You're Morgan Gracie's grandson?"

The bald men and the other men who were present in the VIP room were all startled. Morgan Gracie was California's richest man, with nearly 20 billion dollars private assets.

Morgan Gracie's grandson was a person that those middle-age men could not afford to get in trouble with.

"Mister James, I've offended you by what I've said earlier. I hope you can forgive me," the bald man said, while slapped himself hard.

"Now, I'm going to have the manager, Vivien Kennedy, with me," Martin James squinted.

"No, she's not done with me yet," the bald man shook his head.

Martin James gave him a cold look.

"Yes, of course, you can take her with you," the bald man finally nodded.

After that, the bald man and his colleagues quickly got up and left.

Martin James looked at Vivien Kennedy, "Vivien, how about going over for a few drinks with me?"

"Of course, of course!" Vivien Kennedy squeezed out a smile.

Martin James took Vivien Kennedy to the VIP room that he had booked earlier.

"Mister James, what can I do for you today?" Vivien Kennedy sweetly said as she pounced on Martin James.

"Vivien, I asked for you today, but I don't need you to entertain me. I'm here to offer you some money for something else," Martin James said flatly.

"What do you mean, Mister James?" Vivien Kennedy looked puzzled.

"I'm here to offer you a 10 million dollars check," Martin James said as he put a check on the table.

"10 million dollars?" Vivien Kennedy's eyes widened as she heard how the amount of money that Martin James offered?

"Mister James, what do you want me to do? If that is illegal then I am not willing to do it," Vivien Kennedy said cautiously.

Vivien Kennedy was a smart woman. She knew what it meant when Martin James took out a lot of money. He definitely wanted her to do something big.

"You don't need to kill anyone, you just need to help me with Colby Gracie," Martin James said flatly.

Martin James continued, "As far as I know, you and Colby Gracie had an affair. But the old-money he spends on you was a million dollars at most. I promised you, you just have to help me. 10 million dollars is just a deposit, and then you'll be given $20 million dollars once you accomplished my request."

"What do you want me to do for you?" Vivien Kennedy asked in a serious tone.

With that big sum of money, Vivien Kennedy couldn't resist but to be very interested with Martin James's request.

Martin James leaned into her ear and he told her what was going on.

"No problem, Mister James." Vivien Kennedy nodded after she listened to Martin James. She smiled as she picked up the 10 million-dollar check on the table.

Vivien Kennedy was a kind woman, but she could also be ruthless when it came to money. She might be affectionate with Colby Gracie, but with that amount of money, she could completely change her life.

She would certainly choose the money. After all, it was a large sum of money.

After everything, she would have thirty million dollars to herself.

If she took that money, it would be enough for her to open her own bar where she would be the boss.

Martin James left the bar after giving Vivien Kennedy the recording pen that she would need to use.

After that, Martin James just needed to wait for Vivien Kennedy to meet with Colby Gracie.

Martin James came out of the bar.

"Martin, did Vivien Kennedy agreed?" Lone Wolf asked in a worried tone.

"Yes, and I hope she will succeed," Martin James said.

After all, his plan did not guarantee a 100 percent success rate.

The next morning, Martin James received a call from Vivien Kennedy.

Vivien Kennedy's voice came out of the phone, "Mister James, what you had asked me to do was done. Do you want me to send it to you?"
