Chapter 23 Betting Covenants

Hardy is obviously implying that Janet should use her own body to solicit sponsorship. He knows that there will be bosses who will be willing to pay.

After a pause he continued, "For the next change of the department officers, I will recommend you to be the next head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Student Union. In addition, I can help you get this year's excellent student selection and a first-class scholarship, as long as you get the sponsorship I'm asking you."

"First-class scholarship?" Janet seemed to be a little moved.

The scholarship is divided into 3 classes, the first-class scholarship has the most money but is also the most difficult scholarship to get.

Janet knows very well that her family is short of money. If she can get a first-class scholarship, she can help her parents.

But Janet shook her head, "Sorry Hardy, I can't do this!"

"As long as you promise to be my girlfriend, I will help you figure out how to get that sponsorship amount." Hardy offered with a smile.

Hardy has been coveting Janet's beauty and wants her to be his. He has also given her hints several times, but Janet always seemed to pretend as if she does not understand.

"Promise me, will you?" Hardy said with beg in his eyes. He reached out his hands and tried to hold Janet's hand.

Janet was so frightened and drew back to avoid Hardy, but he seemed to not give up.

"Stop it!" Martin rushed out and directly walked in front of Janet and blocked Hardy.

"Hardy, you really are a beast. How shameless of you to take advantage of your title to engage in such dirty action?!" Martin began to scold at him directly.

"And who the hell are you two popping out of nowhere? Even dared to scold me, don't you know who I am?" Hardy face became gloomy.

"Aren't you just a minister of the student union? What kind of big shot do you think you are?" Martin sneered.

With his position, Hardy thought that he is far more superior than them.

Fatso also proudly said, "Hardy, do you dare to fight my buddy Martin? He will just scare you to death!"

"Scare me to death?" Hardy could not help but laugh so hard.

Hardy looked at Both of them from head to foot and from their appearance he can tell that they have no family background. He thought they're just petty poor boys.

Hardy pointed his finger at Martin And threatened him, "I'm warning you, you can stop pissing me off and get out of here right now or I can assure you that you won't be able to make it through school!"

"Oh, how can a cadre of mere students like you think that you are that powerful? This is ridiculous." Martin shook his head and sneered.

Martin knows that these cadres of the student union dare to be so bossy just because they can take advantage from it.

"Yes, I have power. I can crush both of you like ants! Just wait in the end!" Hardy said proudly.

Janet was frightened and just said, "Hardy, this has nothing to do with them! You asked me to find a thirty-thousand-dollar sponsorship, then fine! I agree!"

Janet thought that Martin does not stand a chance against an entitled person like Hardy. She did not want him to be involved so she just agreed to Hardy's offer.

"Janet, you suddenly agreed just because of this kid? Then let's see if you can accomplish your task. If you fail to do so, you know the price you'll pay!" Hardy said in a furious tone.

Hardy knows that finding that huge amount is very difficult. The only way for an average student is to use her appearance and sell her body. He knew that Janet will not be able to do it.

Janet knows that pulling the sponsorship money is an impossible task. But since she has already agreed, there's no turning back.

"It's all right Janet, it's just thirty thousand dollars, right? I'll take care of it for you." Martin said graciously.

"What? You will take care of it? I don't know if you're bragging or what. But if you can get that sponsorship fee, I will eat shit!" Hardy sneered with disdain.

Hardy has already judged Martin based on his appearance and he thinks a low life kid like him will never be able to find sponsorship.

"You don't believe that I can get a thirty-thousand-dollar sponsorship? Then I dare you to bet." Martin said with a playful smile.

"Dare me." Hardy asked.

"Didn't you just say that if I get the sponsorship for Janet, you will eat shit? Well, if I do, how about you eat shit live in the school post bar?" Martin suggested with a smile.

"Eat shit live at the post bar?"

Fatso who was behind Martin couldn't help but cover his mouth and laugh. He thought that Hardy's bad decision could ruin himself.

Hardy's face changed and was disgusted with Martin's request. But on second thought, he knew that Martin will lose anyway.

So Hardy said, "Alright then, but what if you lose?"

"If I lose, I'll drop out immediately or you can do whatever you want with me." Martin said lightly.

"Deal!" Hardy agreed.

To Hardy, there is no doubt that he will win their bet.

Janet became very anxious, "Martin don't! You don't have to do this!"

To Janet, she thinks that it would be impossible for both of them to find a sponsor. She felt even more down when Martin got himself into this trouble by daring Hardy into a bet.

Martin looked back at Janet with a confident smile.

Hardy added with an evil smile,"And by the way, you only have three days to find a sponsor and it must be a large company with a market capitalization of over fifteen million dollars. Good Luck!"

Hardy added harsh conditions to increase the difficulty of the challenge and to ensure his success with the bet.

"Three days?! And it has to be sponsored by a large company with a market capitalization of over fifteen million?! You are just clearly trying to embarrass us!" Janet stamped her feet angrily.

Janet has been part of the department for so long but has never heard of finding sponsors with such strange rules.

She knows that it is impossible to get such huge amount coming from a large company with a market capitalization of more than fifteen million dollars in just three days.

"I am the head of the department. Of course, I can make the rules! Do you understand?" Hardy smiled in sinister.

Martin pulled Janet from behind him and told Hardy, "Deal!"
