Chapter 107: Chapter 107
Chapter 107 Apology
At that point, Nelson wondered why Martin had to go so much trouble just to ban his company when he didn't even offend him.
However, now that Martin told him that he should bring his son, he had a vague idea of what was going on.
"I don't know what why son did, but it provoked Mr. James to force other companies to cut ties with the Johnson Group, so I'm going to drag him here!" Nelson said angrily.
After Nelson walked out of the Gold Group building, he called Moore almost immediately.
"Hey, dad. What's up?" Moore said happily.
"Get your ass back home, right now!" Nelson immediately retorted, which paved no way for Moore to ask what he did wrong.
When Moore returned home, he was confused about the fact that his father suddenly got angry with him.
He heard about what happened when his father's secretary said something, so he couldn't believe that actually happened.
"W-Who on earth is messing with us? Did my dad offend some big shot?" Moore murmured anxiously. He couldn't imagine what terrible person his family had offended. In fact, he even managed to unite all the billionaires in C City just to cut ties with their company.
Moreover, Moore was worried because if his family got destroyed, his rich life would come to an end.
At that very moment, the door suddenly opened and revealed Nelson, who walked in quickly. It was obvious that his father was infuriated, so Moore immediately asked what was going on.
However, before Moore could say a thing, Nelson punched Moore in the face.
"You son of a bitch, I already know what happened. Come with me!" Nelson said as he grabbed Moore by his ear and walked out of the room.
"Dad, that hurts!" Moore screamed in pain.
Nelson, however, ignored his son and pulled him directly into the car.
"Dad, where are you taking me?" Moore couldn't help but ask.
"Don't you know who you've offended? I finally built the Johnson Group and now you want to take it down because you offended someone?" Nelson retorted.
"I-I don't know what's going on, though? The secretary said that a powerful person wanted to ban the Johnson Group, but that's none of my business!"
"Are you fucking with my me right now?" Nelson said as he mocked his own son. "Didn't you even know that the person you offended was the chairman of Gold Group?!"
"Chairman of the Gold Group? I don't know him, dad! How did I even offend him in the first place?!"
After Moore realized what he just said, he remembered that Martin told him that he was the chairman of the C City branch of Gold Group and that he would suffer the consequences.
"I-Is he really the chairman of Gold Group?" Moore asked his father. He couldn't believe it at all. "There's no way he's the chairman!"
Moore's eyes widened. He firmly believed that Martin was poor and stuck to that idea.
Not to mention, he was confused when he recollected the things he read in his profile and began to think if it was all a ruse.
"We'll find out what actually when we see him later." Nelson said. He secretly hoped that it was just an understanding and that it would be solved sooner or later.
"Although the Gold Group was powerful, the company here is only a branch of the main company! How could he even make all the other companies obey his orders?" Moore said.
Nelson simply shook his head. "Do you even know who the chairman of the Gold Group is?"
"Who is he?" Moore hurriedly asked.
"The chairman in this branch is the biological grandson of Morgan Gracie."
"W-What?!" Moore shouted in surprise. "I-I didn't expect that there was such a scary big shot in C City."
Soon after, the car arrived at the Gold Group building.
Nelson took his son into the building and told the girl to lead them to where Martin was. The girl complied and led them the way.
After that, she turned around and left.
"Moore, if this is just a misunderstanding, just apologize! He's Morgan Gracie's grandson, so we can't afford to offend him any more than we have." Nelson told his son.
"Don't worry, dad. I won't." Moore said with a smile. He never met the chairman of the Gold Group before, so he was sure that he wouldn't be able to offend him in any way.
However, upon entering the door, Moore and Nelson saw a young figure of a man who stood near the window.
"I'm Nelson Johnson, the boss of Johnson Group. I'm here to see Mr. James." Nelson said as he bowed down. Moore also followed his dad's lead.
However, when Martin turned around, Moore didn't expect that he would see such a familiar face in a company he knew he hadn't offended before.
"M-Martin?!" Moore exclaimed.
"Yes, that's me." Martin said as he stood with his hands on his back as he stared at Moore. "I told you before, haven't I? I'm the chairman of the Gold Group and the Lamborghini is my own personal sports car. I also paid for the Lakers to come here, but you never believed me."
With that, Martin slowly walked towards Moore.
"Do you believe me now?" Martin said, smirking.
At that point, Moore couldn't feel anything but goosebumps. He didn't expect that Martin would actually be the chairman of C City's Gold Group branch.
Not to mention, he didn't expect that he would also be the biological grandson of Morgan Gracie.
When Nelson took a look at his son, he came to understand that his son really offended Martin.
"You son of a bitch, you didn't know Mr. James?!" Nelson scolded Moore. "Apologize to him right now, Moore!"
When Nelson noticed that Moore wouldn't move, he kicked him on the leg, which made Moore kneel on the ground.
Moore, however, was terrified.
In fact, he trembled all over.
"Can't you talk, you scumbag?!" Nelson immediately said. "I asked you to apologize!"
"I-I'm sorry, Mr. James!" Moore shouted. His voice trembled at that point, but he couldn't do anything to stop himself from shaking.
It was then that Martin looked down at Moore, who kneeled down in front of him.
"I told you yesterday that you would regret your decision, right?" Martin smiled. "I also told you that you would kneel in front of me and beg for mercy, but you thought it was so funny."
