Chapter 102: Chapter 102

Chapter 102 Moore's Post

When Martin saw what Ron did, he couldn't help but smile. "Ron, did you really think that you could be exempted by tearing up the agreement? Open your eyes and see how many students are here from C City University. If you don't get down on your knees and apologize, I can assure you that you can never get out of this campus at all."

"D-Don't you dare!" Ron sneered. "There are people I arranged to take videos of in the crowd. If you want to get rough, you'll be filmed!"

Martin crossed his arms. "So you're threatening me now? Well, I don't think the lesson I thought you is enough."

It was then that Martin turned around. "I can easily hire the Lakers, so I can also hire goons or killers. If you piss me off even if I let you go now, you won't be able to see the light of day."

After Ron heard Martin's words, he trembled in fear. He understood what Martin said but was too depressed to think clearly.

"W-Who even are you?" Ron said in fear.

"I'm Martin. Morgan Gracie is the chairman of Gold Group and he's also my grandfather." Martin smiled.

"W-What? Your Morgan Gracie's grandson?" Ron sat as he sat on the group with a look of shook evident on his face.

Ron knew exactly what kind of man Morgan was, so his team turned pale when they heard Martin's true identity.

With that, Martin looked down and stared at Ron, who sat on the ground. "Well, are you willing to fulfill the agreement that we had yesterday?"

Ron immediately thought about Martin's background. Even though he wasn't willing to do it, he bowed down to Martin. "I-I am!"

All of a sudden, Ron and his team knelt directly towards the crowd.

"Students of C City University, I'm Ron Leonard. On behalf of the entire C City Vocational College basketball team, I hereby apologize to C City university." Ron said as he grit his teeth.

Ron was arrogant just a few days ago, she he was embarrassed about the fact that he had to kneel in front of all those people.

As soon as Ron's apology came out, the audience laughed and almost all of them took out their phones.

"It's so relieving to watch Ron apologize!"

"I can't believe that he became Martin's obedient dog!"

"We misunderstood Martin and blamed him for not going, but if it hadn't for him, we would have never found our dignity back."

At that point, people in the crowd felt bad because they misunderstood Martin, but at the same time, they felt proud and elated because they won against Ron's team for the first time in forever.

"Alright, you can get out of here now." Martin said as he smirked at Ron. "You better keep a low profile in the future because your arrogance will only lead you to disaster."

Ron could only nod as he looked at his team members. Soon after, they could no longer be seen.

After they left, the students gave Martin a round of applause. Everyone knew that he was the one who invited the Lakers to their university, and they were indebted to him.

After the incident, the Lakers visited C City University in person. Everyone knew that the Lakers were invited by Martin, so the students praised him.

People only knew that Martin was a rich and young man, but most of the students didn't know about Martin's true identity, so other students guessed what his identity was.

With that said, Martin had thoroughly moved the students of C City University and became a well-known person inside the campus.

Meanwhile inside the Moore's room, he simply held his phone. He looked gloomy when he saw the official page of the school.

"Damn it, this kid is practically the star of our school now." Moore said as he looked at his phone in disdain.

Because of Hedy, Moore regarded Martin as his enemy, and he didn't like the fact that Martin was praised by everyone in the campus.

"Moore, is he one of the rich kids?" Moore's personal attendant said.

"That's impossible. I know who the rich kids are when I see one!" Moore firmly said. "I went to the school archive so I can know more about him, but it just turns out that his family's poor. He even received financial aid for two years!"

"But Moore, last time we saw him, he drove a sports car. He might have rented that, but we don't exactly know how he invited the Lakers this time." The personal attendant retorted. "It costs a lot of money to hire the Lakers. If his family doesn't have any money, it's impossible for him to even hire the Lakers themselves!"

"I guess that can fool you, but not me." Moore sneered.

"Isn't he Hedy's boyfriend though? Maybe he went to Hedy and asked her to hire the Lakers."

"That's also a possibility" Moore said as he grit his teeth. "That kid relies on his tricks. Now that he has gained both fame and wealth, everyone in school just praises him out of nowhere! I won't let people in this school be deceived by him."

Soon after, Moore decided to post his identity at the campus so he could expose him.

Meanwhile a post appeared at the school's post bar.

"Don't be food by Martin. He's not rich at all! In fact, he's the opposite." Moore's post said. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm Moore Johnson and I would like to reveal to you Martin's true identity. I'll put his own personal details below. That's the information inside the school archive."

At the bottom of the paragraph, there was a photo of Martin with a seal of the school. The information was clear, and it told all about Martin's family.

There was even a record of Martin when he applied for financial aid.

At the bottom of the pictures, there was another paragraph.

"I know you're wondering that if his family really was poor, he wouldn't have any way to drive a sports care. Well, he only showed off because he's Hedy Julian's boyfriend and he spent Hedy's money on a rented sports car!"

"Also, about the incident with the Lakers, the reason's very simple. He got Hedy to help him hire the them because he's poor. If you don't believe it, you can find his file inside the school archive. I just want to expose the truth because it's obviously pretending to be rich!"

In the school's post bar, there were a lot of people who discussed about the specific family background of Martin, but when Moore's post came out, everyone was dumbfounded.

Martin's family background was clearly written on the files that Moore sent and what shocked people even more was that he also applied for a financial aid.

"Is Martin really not what we think he is?"

"Is this really the truth?!"

"If Martin was rich and young, it would be absolutely impossible for him to apply for a financial aid! No rich man would do such a humiliating thing!"

"Is Martin truly pretending to be rich?! What a scumbag!"
