It's been a few weeks since Audrey found out about her parents Will. She asked for Victor's help and he promised to visit her.

She was waiting to receive him in the hotel and her wait was finally over when an Uber dropped him inside the compound. He alighted walking to her.

" You got me for two or three days let's make this snappy," he said

" Thanks for coming. I'm trying to desecrate my mother's grave. I don't think she's dead. As her daughter can you help me achieve my aim? She asked curiously. Initially, she wanted to ask Lucas for help but she couldn't risk it. And he was busy with the new contract he signed. She hates favors anyway.

" As her daughter, you have every right to it, and should they refuse you have a right to go to court to lay a claim" he announced making her smile.

" Thanks. Let's go " she said explaining things to him

Victor listened and resumed work immediately. Her claim was accepted after she presented her birth certificate and marriage certificate of her parents including the police report referring her as a missing case. They asked where she has been all those years and she explained partially.

Victor made a mental note on her story intending to use it for his investigation.

The grave was dung and a body was found. A female body that has decayed. It was taken to the forensic who was in charge of it. She paid a huge amount of money for it and promised her results within months as the body bones were old bones.

Victor told them it was needed for a case thus they promised to hasten up with it. Audrey wasn't happy as the results were going to take months. She can't wait that long or she can deal with her aunt while waiting.

Lucas guards in the city reported everything to him sending him an old newspaper of her missing at the age of sixteen. He assumed it was when she ran away from home and discarded it. She asked for Victor's help and not him? He gave her that idea. He called the forensic department in LA ordering them to give a detailed account of the report. he requested for the report also should they find it out.

He was about to leave when his phone rang. He looked at it with a furrowed brow and picked it.

" What's the matter? He asked coldly

" Sorry, I'm taking longer than expected. I know you reduced my time here to two months and I am a week late. I'll be in your arms soon. " She urged

" Fine. Be safe" he ended the call abruptly making her worried. She called him again through his laptop. He watched it beep and picked irritably

" Yes? He asked calmed after seeing her worried face

" I miss you, Luke. I can't sleep. I work all night and day trying to stop myself from missing you now that I'm alone. I miss you more" she pouts making him smile staring at her baby face

"Then come home to me Audrey. Look at your eyes. It's all swollen" he teased as she pouts touching the screen making him chuckle

" I found my dad's memorandum that he bestowed to me. I was right about him all along. I can't say the same for my mom. The forensics are doing their job" she smiled. Luke noticed she was truly happy. Her smile was genuine and soothing

" I'm happy to hear that. What did he say" he asked lovingly

" A birthday note for me till I'm fifty years old. It meant the world to me when I read some of it till my twenty-Fourth birthday. I can't wait to see what he had to say during my twenty-fifth birthday. They were all meaningful to me. I felt like answering his questions and you know what? I think I stupidly answered a few. Naughty of me right? She giggled wiping her tears

" That's so sweet of him. I'm glad he loved you even in death. You can reduce the notion of being abandoned" he chuckled as she smiled in agreement. She just loved him more. He was a considerate father.

" Are you still busy at the office?

" Not that much. Do you want me to keep you company? Come home to me Audrey" he said yet again as she sighed there's no reasoning with him.

Though Lucas wasn't informed about the savings account. He was glad she told him about it. The issue of not confiding in him first can be overlooked as long as she spoke about it. He could ask Victor for the details or warn him instead.

" Alright. Let's discuss till one of us fall asleep" she suggested

" You know that's you, Audrey. You fall asleep quicker than anyone I know" he teased making her blush

" Perhaps. That was dumb of me to say " she muttered

" Granny won't stop asking after you. What did you give them? He asked sternly

" Awww. I miss her too. Are you jealous? Omg, you're blushing" she said taking a pic of it.

" Audrey, stop mocking me. I've felt too you know. "

" Oh I didn't know" she laughed out loud .he kept watching her laugh smiling waiting for her to have her fill

" Omg. My stomach hurts. " She says clenching her stomach.

"Are you done? Now let's talk about my birthday. It's in two months. "

" Really? There's time to prepare for it. You'll be thirty right? She asked curiously but he said nothing and replied minutes later

" Are you saying I'm too old for you?

" Hell no. You're just right for me. Age is just a number my love" she said confidently making him smile

" Should I send a private jet your way? I wanna kiss you Audrey perhaps make love to you" he said coquettishly biting his lower lips

" Really? She asked blushing recalling their last intimacy suddenly feeling hot. She fans herself with her hands making him chuckle.

" You remember right? That's what I love about you. You don't shy away from me " he commented making her blush the more. Gosh just listening to him makes her wet.

" Luke, don't make me wet. " She said urging him to change the topic

" Fine. I'll leave it till you come. Good night" he said ending the call. Thanks to her travel his PC is filled with love messages and comments. He read them again replying to one of them.

Audrey heard her phone beep and checked it smiling at his attempt at pillow talks. He's romantic. she called him but he didn't pick. Is he shy? She chuckled sending him a message but still he didn't reply though it showed read. He's such a baby she concluded.
